Falcon Princess Nails

I have been going to Falcon Princess Nails for several years. My sister lives out of town and whenever she visits she must visit this salon, she loves their work. Whether you need just a nail polish or manicure they always are helpful and friendly to me and my family members. I just had some extra artwork put on my nails and they look great.
Prices are reasonable and I get out quick.

Worst place ever. I came in for a pedicure and half way through the job I could tell she was either new or just wasn’t doing a good job at it. I was polite and excused myself, I told her I needed to go due to a family emergency which was true. The timing was perfect my daughter kept calling me so I just decided to get up and leave. Anyway as I was leaving the lady runs after me and tells me I need to pay for my pedicure which was not even halfway done, it was sloppy and clearly you could tell it wasn’t anywhere near done. I got really upset and I was like I have an emergency and told her my son is running a very high fever and have to go. She knew this because they could all hear my phone conversation. She had no remorse and all she cares about was for me to pay her $ 20 of nothing. I went inside to take off the white tip that was halfway done and they said I still needed to pay. My husband ended up paying to avoid the drama and I wish I could have prevented that from happening but he payed anyway. So now I’m here writing an honest review. I also noticed the guy in there did a really bad job on the lady that was sitting next to me. I also noticed the other lady did a bad job on that lady’s pedicure as well. Overall it is the worst nail salon out there. Stay away from this place! This place deserves no stars!

Went here with my husband for a mani pedi and we were satisfied. They were pretty busy for a late Saturday afternoon. The people there are very nice and it’s a cute little shop. They have been open for 21 years which is great! We will be back :)

I give this place two stars because two of the people who are there work and do their jobs well. They really do. The man who works there and the young lady who wears the white coat do tremendous jobs. I have gone twice, both with a relative, and the first time, I felt like there couldn’t have been a better job for the price. My relative though, who got the owner to do her nails, reported pain while she was getting a manicure. I thought she wasn’t used to manicures, so I brushed it off. I’m sorry I did. I got a pedicure done and I now cannot walk around without pain, as the buffering job she did after scraping off the particularly pesky parts of my last pedicure left my skin raw and smarting for hours. Maybe I am overreacting, but it’s extremely painful, and I feel like it wouldn’t have happened if there was a bit more caution with the buffering.

I usually only come here when I’m in need of a quick eyebrow clean up and I need to get it done during my lunch hour. They are affordable and efficient.

I used to come here a few years ago when I lived in the area. I was in the neighborhood again and stopped in with my daughter. They provided the same great service and my little one had a ball getting her toes painted.

Went here for a budget-​conscious girls day out and because previous reviews were positive. My experience was less positive. My 2 friends each got a mani and brow wax and I got a mani (french) and pedi. The service was prompt and most of the people were friendly. We all had different experiences which suggested that quality depends the staff member.
For my pedi, I sat in a massage chair which was great, but because I am short I kept sliding forward for one lady to work on my toes. I feel like my feet are still rough and not as soft as when I go to other nail salons. The french mani was done by a differently lady and looked fine minus a nick near a cuticle (bleeding). Similar to the pedi, I think that parts of my fingers are still rough (i.e., has callouses and dead skin). I must say that the mani arm massage and pedi leg massage by the ladies were wonderful!
One of my friends had a good job done on her mani and joked that the polish was so thick that it might take her months before being able to get rid of the polish. (Mani was done by the guy. She said he had the softest hands of any guy she had met.) She had 2 issues: 1) one of her thumb nails was cut super short and 2) left over wax. The brow wax was done by an older lady. The waxing was great, but a bit of the wax was still left over and kept pulling on her eye lashes. Annoying and difficult to take off after the fact.
My other friend had it the worse. She was so hungry since it was lunch time and didn’t want to be rude so she didn’t say anything until after we left. The mani by the older lady was poorly done: uneven polish where you could still see the original nail, cut her cuticles too deep in a couple of spots, nail tips were jagged, and also had a nail that was cut significantly shorter than the others. Her brow wax went fine.
We made the best of the day with a yummy lunch and joking around about the bad nail service. We agreed to do another girls day out, but we’re going to go somewhere else.

BEST mani-​pedi I’ve had in years! It is now 10 days and counting since I got my nails done and there is no sign of the paint chipping. My nails still look great and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the treatment.

Tom and Kim are great. They treat you like family here. I’ve never had any problems here. Helen gives awesome pedicures.

My mom and I have been coming to Falcon Princess Nails for years now, and it’s my favorite place to go in Houston to get my nails done. We have known Kim and Tom so long that they are like family.
Every once in a while, I get a ding or a nip but they’re quick to take care of it.
