I have had 3 bad experiences at this salon. Twice I was cut on my hand and feet by the rough filing of this staff. The third time staff threw a cotton ball at me when I asked her to remove the residual of my old polish.

Love them all. I have been going off and on a few years then found out they do shellac and they do it really well!!!

The place has been nicely updated/. They use plastic for the bowls which I love! Tracey gives the best pedicure, she really gets the ingrown nail while being kind to your toes. Plus she gives the best massages.

Most horrendous experience ever. First, I had to pay for services UPFRONT. Got my nails done and the lady did a sloppy job. I politely asked her to re-do ONE nail. She stripped the manicure off of both of my hands with an obscene amount of acetone to the point where my cuticles began to bleed. I couldnt believe this woman began yelling at me and saying it was my fault for complaining in the first place. WHAT? Then. I got my upper lip waxed. The next day, my face was swollen and broken out. They could care less. NEVERAGAIN.

I went to K nails for years before moving. I recently went back visiting family and they still remembered me and what I wanted! I think they do a good job overall. If you want something specific, just say so!

Meh is the bet way to describe this place. They’re fairly fast and reasonably priced but the work is only fair. I’m all for efficiency/lack of pampering, but they didn’t follow requests(e.g. Keep my nails long, don’t cut my cuticles/skin, etc.) very well. Even though my family lives near by, I probably won’t be back.

I will NOT return to this salon!!! Environment was extremely unprofessional and there was nothing«relaxing or luxury» about the ambiance in general… quite«ghetto» actually — and not what I was expecting from a salon in the Bellaire area :-(I spent the entire time of my mani/pedi trying to drown out the loud belting of singing in their native language. WHile the gentlement was dressed somewhat as an «Asian Usher– Reject», he conducted himself as somewhat of a «pimp» around teh salon… the employees whom weren’t giving services were sitting lazily in the client Pedicure chairs and heavily engaged in their own chatter… environment was quite disruptive and not what I looked forward to after a long shoft in the Medical center… the 2 stars is simply for the actual pedi mani– it did the job…

I have never had a problem here. Quin always does a great job on my hands and Kim is the best at painting flowers or snowmen etc on toenails. My foot massages usually last 20 – 30 minutes, but that may be because they know I tip well for a good massage. Tracy does great work on problem feet, my husband loves her work. This is not a spa… it is a nail place. I have never been to a nail place that«pampers» or «gives amazing massages»…thats what you go to a spa for. This place is not spa priced so I am not sure why people are expecting spa treatment in their reviews. They can get crazy busy but try to fit people in. Most people who come here make appointments, you may get more devoted treatment that way.

Ive been here several times for a mani, pedi, and eyebrow wax. They do a fantastic job on eyebrow waxing. As far as pedicures they are maybe 7 out of a 10? Maybe. They are usually in a hurry and pretty distracted with their own personal shop talk. Thats fine with me but I dont want to be grunted at because I dont know that you want me to switch feet. The other reviewers are pretty accurate with the non existant pampering but im typically not worried about that anyway. The pedicure always looks good and lasts awhile but I dont leave feeling that clean refreshed pedi feeling I do at other places. Ill go here if im in the area and dont have time to go somewhere else.

OMG I just had the worst pedicure. My foot had a big dirty spot on it when the tech was done. She polished my toes with gloves on and rushed through my foot massage. If you go– don’t go to Van!

I’ve been going to K nails since it opened and I’ve come to the conclusion that– If you want a quick good looking job– this is your place. K nails does a great job with nail shape, cuticles and polish. You always look great when you leave. I have never had a problem. If you are looking for relaxation and pampering… not your place. The pampering part is non existent– maybe a 2 min(max) leg rub, maybe a 1 min arm rub. When it comes to soft feet– hopefully yours are already soft when you walk in because they really don’t attempt to help you out. They go through the routine with the stones, etc– but it’s so fast that it does nothing. The staff is very friendly however, it seems that they are all close friends and talk to each other the whole time you are there. Normally I think this is fine but they talk very loud– so loud that sometimes you can’t hear the person sitting next to you if you want to have your own conversation. Last time I was there I wanted to ask a question about the way the tech was doing my toes and she was so into her own conversation(while working on me) that it took me saying«excuse me» three times for her to look up.

I was a walk-in at around 11:30am with my friend for a manicure, and we got worked on immediately. I wouldn’t say it was the best manicure experience I’ve had. Definitely NOT the best hand/arm massage — seemed half-ass. But my manicurist got the job done for $ 12(friend got the mani/pedi for $ 32). Not much to complain about, not much to call home about. I’d probably come back. That’s all.
