Denny’s

They have nice soap here. Made my hands smell good. I smelled them for like 15 minutes straight.

This place is great! You go in, they seat you, and then they give you delicious food and coffee. The service was up to par and they are open late.

I just went to the most awesome Denny’s in Belleville, Illinois and had the same amazing server as the last time I came. She was awesome and when I requested my pumpkin pie served with a LOT of whipped cream, she literally surrounded it. She comped my side of ranch for my seasoned fries. Herro, $ 9.50 tip on a $ 30.50 order. And I’m thinking about making this girl a fat tub of real mashed potatoes because she says her mom only makes instant. #serverlove

Say what you will about Denny’s. In general, it is not thought of as a reputable restaurant. BUT… if you are in the mood pancakes, hashbrowns, etc., you can’t beat it! I would request to sit in Mike’s section. We ate there on a Sunday around 10:30. Mike was amazing! He even saved us a couple bucks!

I have not been in this Denny’s in years. The place still looks the same. I was so hungry that I could have eaten the menu. As I expected our waitress was missing some of her teeth, I think this is a requirement to be a waitress here. I ordered a turkey club and French fries. The plate arrived looking a little empty. I counted I got 10 fries. yes 10. Disappointing. I was still hungry, I asked if they had pie, the waitress responded «No we only have apple pie, look at the pictures. Hmm apple pie is pie right??? I ordered apple pie with ice cream. I thought it was expected that the pie would be warmed if served with ice cream… Yep don’t assume at Denny’s. I remember why I haven’t been there in years…

Hmmm… average to good service. I had the Grand Slam breakfast, and my server allowed me to substitute four breakfast sausage links for two sausages and two bacon strips.
I would have considered giving this location a golden three stars, but let’s face it, this Denny’s has a rather chequered past when it comes to its relationship with local police.
In the future, I will spend the extra dollar or two and head over to iHop.

Great place to go late. Service is not very good! Unless you ask for Travis. He normally works nights. You may wait to be seated & wait to pay out.

This is our favorite place to take the grandkids. The menu is varied, the atmosphere is casual (and forgiving– they’re toddlers), and the food is excellent. There’s something for everyone, from healthy to artery-​clogging. We especially like the breakfast specials. Viva la Grand Slam!

I have tried to give this Denny’s the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the food, but my last visit was just as underwhelming as the rest and thought I’d share.
I suppose that given it’s a Denny’s, I shouldn’t hold the bar very high to begin with, but honestly, I’ve been to other Denny’s restaurants, and haven’t been as let down as I have by this one. The food quality of the orders I’ve placed leaves something to be desired. On orders that I’ve placed for carry-​out, I am consistently disappointed by the lack of attention to detail — the order is either not prepared as requested or plain left out.
I suppose this place might be alright for a late night dine-​in meal, but otherwise, I would keep looking.
