We were one of two full tables in the entire restaurant. Our waitress accidently brought out an extra hot chocolate and told us just to keep it, only to come back later and tell us she was charging us for it anyway. Our water was never filled once (aside from hot chocolate and coffee, that was what we were all drinking), and as we were checking out, my grandmother knocked over the tooth picks at the register. So, I got on my hands and knees to pick all of them up while two other workers stood three feet away and my waitress didn’t make a move to help, or say it was okay, or even when I finished say thank you. Nothing. Will not be returning because of the atrocious service alone.

i will start with that we were seated at a dirty table. our server wasn’t particularly friendly. He was not unfriendly, just indifferent. all the employees seemed that way really.
my omlette was burnt but tasted good. i opted for the red velvet pancakes. i could have really just got the regular. the red velvet did not have much flavor. they were just red.
I would go back if i was in the area.

This is a «classic» IHOP. The parking is limited (if you can find a place to park, you’ll probably find a place to sit), the aisles are narrow (giving you more room to sit, but less room to walk or set high chairs), but the food is traditional IHOP and tastes great. This is my favorite place to eat breakfast in Belleville without the grandkids. They have lots of healthy items on the menu. I love the chicken florentine crepes and the spinach & mushroom omelette. Of course, their pancakes are the best. I think everyone else should leave a carafe of hot coffee on the table like they do…

This is not the IHOP of my choosing in the area. It is very run down and the servers barely have room to get down the aisles. We had a high chair and had to keep pulling our little one as close to the table as possible. The food is not the best for IHOP, i frequent IHOP but would rather go to the new one in Fairview Heights, much cleaner. This IHOP makes it seem like something may jump into your food with how dirty and old the inside is.
