I now remember why I stopped eating Pizza Hut. I don’t think any more needs to be said.

Ugh. We had not been here in years and yet I was lured back with a deal for a large any topping pizza for eleven bucks. I figured why not? Ordering was a breeze online. We added a Hershey’s cookie for dessert(think old school chocolate chip cookie bars). They gave it to us for a buck off for ordering a pizza online. It was only a 15 minute wait for a pickup time. A bit sad we are STILL just outside the delivery area, but so far so good. We arrive and the place had been redone since our last visit 10 years or so back. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Even advising us on their lunch buffet when we inquired about the setup table we spied. I wanted to like the place. I really did. Got the pizza home. Ummm the middle was uncooked. Like eating raw dough uncooked. At this point we are just done. I mean we probably should have carted the damn thing back but it was a cold night and we were not even loving the cooked parts. We just shoved the thing into our oven, figuring that’s all they were going to do anywho. We ate the results and were not terribly impressed. The cookie? Yummy, a solid three star. The pizza? Never again, wish there were negative stars. Tasteless underdone dough, flavorless toppings. Yikes. Avoid.

We decided to eat in… bad idea. Service was HORRIBLE. Food was great so that made me not walk out. We ordered 2 pizzas; one being a special limited pizza, in which the waiter didn’t even know the toppings, he just said there was 3 of them. No special menu with items that you see commercials for. We were a group of 5. 2 adults and 3 teen boys. We were told it would be 15 minutes after we ordered. We got breadsticks in 15 minutes, and the wrong pizza in 30 minutes, in which waiter tried telling us it was our pizza. First it was our chicken one, then it was supposedly our meatlovers. FAIL it was a cheese pizza. 35 minutes of waiting we got our first pizza«the adult“pizza. 20 minutes later we got our meat lovers for the boys.(seems like they forgot to make it) We were offered, since they were going to throw it away the cheese pizza to take home. We had to ask over and over for refills, which was mostly ice. He was more worried about removing empty pop cups then refilling them. It was all ice. If you don’t like to refill don’t fill with 2oz of pop. I asked for ranch, 3 times, which after seeing watier walking around, I got up and went to the register and asked for it. To think we were the only table dining in for more the whole time we ate… is sad.(There was another table when we came in– in which they too didn’t get pizza all together) I honestly didn’t want to tip, yet I did. Should’ve tipped the cooks, because they are the ones who get the stars!(yet then the stars would be all 5)

I’ve had pizza hut before, and I was lured in by their new delivery. I live less than 6 miles away from this particular pizza hut, and I figured I’ll order some food from there. I ended up receiving a phone call from the driver, my house isnt the easiest to find so I expected a call. I could not get a word in from this young man telling me to turn on my light to my home so he can find my house. He wasn’t even on the right road! Finally after an argument, he found my house. My food was cold, and tasted like it had been sitting around for a good 20 min before it left Pizza Hut. I live at the most a 3 to 4 min drive from this place, and yet my food was so terrible I could not force myself to keep it for leftovers. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague.

Ugh — Pizza Hut. My kids often get coupons from their school for free personal pan pizzas, so we end up here against our better judgment from time to time. We just got back from a lunch visit to the Rawsonville Rd location. Ugh. My wife and I avoid wheat products(even mild cases of celiac ain’t fun) so we haven’t had pizza in a few years. It does appear that the pizzas are still typical of when I last tried them — a light airy crust with a thick gooey solid layer of grease on the bottom. Hold on tight or it might slip right out of your hand. The kids liked their pizzas. But hey, they’re 4 and 6 years old and haven’t developed a proper pizza pallet yet. They haven’t experienced the bliss that is true NY style thin but floppy crust that you can(and should) fold in half. In time I will try to groom them(brainwash?) to appreciate quality pizza and eschew the greasy«pizza-like-product» that is pizza hut. But for now they’re happy with their personal pepperoni dealie bobs. I tried their wings since this is one of the dual-branded wing locations. Garlic Parmesan sauce. Truly not too bad. Not Buffalo Wild Wings quality, and certainly far from Quaker Steak and Lube, but really not a bad attempt. Undoubtedly better than the pizza. I’ll get them again when the kids get their next round of coupons. The service was good although they were short staffed at lunch. The food took a little long to come out(they seemed to be more focused on keeping the all-u-can-eat bars stoked), but when it finally arrived it came all together and nice and hot. The main problem with today’s vist(and the same issue occured the last time) was the near-arctic temperatures inside the restaurant. Supposedly they had the heat on 74 deg’s, but almost everyone in the place either had their coats on or were visibly shivering. The staff were all bundled up. I assumed this was a special-cause issue on our last visit, but it was the same chilly place this time around so I suspect it’s always that way in the winter. So if you don’t want to avoid the greasy«pizza» crust you might want to avoid it if you’re visiting in the winter. It’s coooold inside. Two stars cus the wings were decent and the kiddies liked their«pizzas». Otherwise 1 star.

Bless me father Unilocal, for I have sinned. It’s been 3 days since I had real pizza. Why I went to Pizza Hut I’ll never know. Please be easy on my penance. Let’s figure out what might feed a family of 8. Two pasta dishes for $ 10 and a pizza for another $ 10. Didn’t sound too bad for all of us until we got home and saw the portions. Since when is an 11 inch pizza a large? The pasta was small but lived up to the amount of servings that they promised. Breadsticks were breadsticks. We ordered a pizza with ham, pineapple, bacon… we might have just ordered dough with sauce. There is absolutely nothing distinctive about this pizza. The sauce is bland and although there were ample amounts of toppings on the pie, not of it really had much of a taste. The Chicken Alfredo pasta tasted like the sauce was poured out of a jar, all thin milk and garlic. Pour this over inexpensive pasta and you have a very forgettable dish. The regular pasta was basically Ragu over the same inexpensive pasta. Total blah. Spare me from more pizza hut. I’ve sinned Unilocalers, please forgive me. What should my penance be? Please be gentle!
