This place used to be highly recommended… Now…Worst place ever! All the good employees are gone except one and she’s leaving too. For months now they haven’t even had a real POS system set up and have to add everything with a calculator… so you don’t really know what you’re getting charged for? Management needs to learn a few things for sure or just sell it to someone who knows what they’re doing.

No signage, so very hard to find hidden inside a gas station.
When I walked up the girl glanced in my direction and ignored me for a while assuming that I didn’t know what I wanted. I did know, so if she had asked, I could have ordered instead of waiting while she ignored me. She then asked what I wanted but in a few minutes I realized that she didn’t ask what size, instead she assumed that I wanted the largest one possible and then I walked out with a weird tasting bucket full of «smoothie».
Never made eye contact once, obviously hates her job and doesn’t care. I’ll never be back.

This morning i went in for a smoothie (Lean, chocolate protein) and I was surprised that it was $ 6 for a 24oz. The smoothie was good, but that’s too expensive in my opinion. What I was surprised to see was a basket full of protein/vitamin samples that you can get for free at Vitamin Shoppe or GNC, but they had a $ 1 price tag. Now THAT’S pretty cheap guys.
I should mention that the girl who made the smoothie was nice and when I asked her about the samples, she mentioned how she knows they’re supposed to be free but said the manager insists on charging for them even though he got them free to hand out. The manager is definitely nickle and diming the customers there. How embarrassing.

What a joke! The ECS employee couldn’t make a 32 oz. Lean Body. He said, «we only have a 24 oz., we’d have to charge you for more ice and our prices went up.» Yeah, really making my decision to eat here easy… crappy location, too. Attached to a gas station, really? To management: the girls at Alderwood Mall can make a 32 oz Lean Body… simple math tells you a 32 oz requires 33% more ingredients than a 24 oz! I guess that’s too difficult for this location. Do not go here, I repeat, DO NOT VISIT THIS ECS.

Bleh! I ordered one of the low-sugar smoothies (island breeze I believe) and proceeded to watch the guy dump mushy strawberries in syrup and what looked like a juice concentrate/syrup into the blender. Not to my surprise my smoothie tasted like thick, syrupy, artificial strawberry flavoring :-(so not fresh at all!!!
Not to mention the guy making my smoothie was not in the least bit friendly.
I’ll take Jamba Juice’s FRESH fruit (flash frozen– no sugar or artificial crap added) over emerald city any day.

Best Smoothies in Washington, they have an excellent selection of fruits and extras like protien and fat burners, the only draw back is they are a littl pricey.

I hate this parking lot. I swear, I only visit this location when I’m headed to Redmond, and both exits require me turning right! *angst*
But really, the staff at this ECS makes a great smoothie, and can get through a line quite quickly… Even if they don’t have all the fancy flavors that the standalone locations get [I’ve only experienced this once, when I was trying to order my friend his standard grape Slim N Fit], they’ve got the «Complete» menu as listed on the ECS website.
I’ve become a huge fan of their delicious Low Carb smoothies but recently I’ve been attached to the Zone Zinger. It sounds a little odd, with the brewer’s yeast, but it’s SO good. To the point that if I didn’t hate this parking lot so much I’d probably stop and get one before work wayyyy more often than I should.

Tucked inside a Chevron, this place is similar to other locations. I usually stop by on my way home. Workers are nice and friendly. My Smoothies are always consistent. I like this location because there usually isn’t a line.
