This place is SO slow. They NEVER have enough people staffed so there is quite a long wait for drinks. The cashier will take everyone’s orders before making anything, this includes on line orders as well. Friendly staff but incredibly SLOW!

I love me a good Jamba Juice. This location is a bit tricky to get in and out of as the parking lot seems a little small. I walked in at 12:30 with two gals in front of me and an older gal next to me clearly annoyed. I asked if she was in line, she said she had already ordered. Then I looked around. 2 gals in front of me. 2 gals at a table. 2 guys at a table. NOT A ONEHOLDING A JUICE. Sooo… there are 7 people in front of me and then I looked at the cashier. One employee. Just a cashier. No one is juicing. OH… THISISGOINGTOBE A LONGWAIT. I ordered and then waited off to the side and counted the minutes. A gal came from the back about 2 minutes later and started making drinks. Where was she 5 minutes ago or 10 minutes ago when the first of the 7 ordered? The gal who came from the back started asking if we had all ordered and if the guy who just walked in needed to order. She started to apologize for the wait. I got my juice at 12:55, the gal from the back stated again that she was sorry, that they were totally dead most of the day and she went to lunch. Note to Jamba Juice: Do not lunch during the average lunch time. That is when people are coming to you for lunch. I have been in the service industry. This will be your busiest time.

Last month, the newest Jamba Juice store location opened at Crossroads in Bellevue. It is the 4th location in Bellevue alone which seems a bit disproportionate when there is only one Jamba Juice store in Seattle at U Village. The store is located next to the(temporarily closed) Chipotle and two spaces down from a Chase in the building fronting 156th Ave. This space used to belong to the Bellevue Police Department’s Crossroads Substation, which has since moved into the space next to Crunch in another building at Crossroads. The police station must have been small, since this location has the least square footage of the four Bellevue stores. The store has no tables, so this is strictly a to go smoothie place. I don’t buy juice or smoothies often since they seem a bit of a splurge. Even more expensive than buying a coffee drink. But I had a leftover Jamba gift card that I wanted to use, so I tried this place out. Their menu still has the classic smoothies which mixes fruit with sherbet or frozen yogurt. But I see now that they have healthier varieties of smoothies including ones with only whole fruits and vegetables as ingredients. They are also embracing the trend of juice cleanses as they offer a line of products for this purpose. If you are looking for a bite, they do have a small selection of pastry products here. Since the last time I bought a drink at a Jamba, prices have gone up. A small smoothie will cost at least $ 5 after tax unless they have a promotion going. Ordered a small Greens ‘n Ginger($ 5.09) which apparently prices out as 20 cents more than the board says it costs. The drink tasted like a ginger beer mixed with vegetables. The ginger was the ingredient most evident as far as taste. I think this drink could serve as a meal replacement if you would prefer to get a drink at Jamba instead of lunch. Though you might want to upsize to feel sated. While the opening of this Jamba Juice was unexpected, it is a welcome addition to the neighborhood as this part of Bellevue doesn’t really have many smoothie places.

New Jamba Juice for fresh juice lovers is now in bellevue right beside everybody’s beloved chipotle Mexican grill on 156th. I see menu consists of many healthy juices i’m familiar with(thanks to juicing diet). I tried PB chocolate love and it’s pretty good. Definitely a place to try.
