Perfectly fine chain burger. Ambiance indicates you should take your burger home. Fries are good but unsalted(weird). They used to do a deep fried mushroom; those were pure awesome. If you are in Overlake this is a perfectly fine alternative to Five Guys.

I love burgers and fries! I’ve been going to Kid Valley for years. They cook a great burger and have phenomenal fries. I normally get the hamburger combo, but if I’m in a bacon mood I get the bacon burger combo. The fries come out hot and salty! Dip them into the tarter sauce and you have a moment of pleasure… that is until the next one. The burger is a little on the large size, but with the bacon it’s ubiquity on a bun. The great new item is the soda machine. Hundreds of combinations at your finger tips! Service is a little slow, but they cook everything to order. The food hasn’t been sitting under the heat lamp getting stale, which is a great thing. This is the In-and-Out of Washington. Highly recommended for you burger lovers.

Truthfully, they don’t even deserve a 1 star. Horrible customer service! If you look like you hate your job, or hate taking customers orders, or just hate talking to people in general, don’t come to work; simple. Writing this review as I am waiting for my food.

Pnw version of in n out and dare I say KV is better. I’m biased and grew up on Kidd valley(these fries are crispier and fresher and the burgers are on par). This is the best location of all of them and they’re consistent in quality. They upped their staff at this location so the cashier doesn’t have to run around as much which seems to help with movement of food out the kitchen. Cheeseburgers, banana shakes, fries, onion rings and fried mushrooms you can’t go wrong. 3 decades later I’m still a happy customer.

This Kidd Valley probably rates 3.5 stars, but I’ll round up. Hubby and I used to come here years ago, when we worked down the street at Ethan Allen(I’m talking about 19 years ago), and I hadn’t been back in a while(okay, QUITE a while!). But my kid and I recently came here at 7pm for a late bite, and it was still quite good. Not great, not amazing, but quite good. Ordered a newer«Hawaiian burger combo» with a peanut butter milkshake. There was one guy working the counter, and to my knowledge, only one guy cooking. Which was fine, as the restaurant was fairly empty, with only 2 or 3 other diners present. The place was super clean, in its usual«diner» aesthetic, playing upbeat retro 50’s pop music — all of which I like and remembered from my past visits years ago. The food came out fairly quickly. The burger was super generously sized, cooked perfectly, messy — but in a good way!, — with a nice pineapple ring and accompanying condiments. The fries were nothing to write home about; not bad but just average.(I remember the sweet potato fries being really good. In retrospect, we probably should have ordered those). The milkshake was, according to my kid, «to die for». A resounding hit! Booths aren’t that comfy for old folks like myself, and the prices are a bit on the high side. But if you’re in the mood for a good, big burger, and ESPECIALLY if you’re in the mood for a delicious milkshake, you can’t really go wrong here!

This place was empty on an early Sunday evening. We each got a burger to go. It was fast and they were nice, but the burgers were gross. They tasted like a microwaved patty, and the«relish sauce» was a teaspoon at best. We cringed with each bite, but were too starving to NOT eat it. I will probably go back to try the wide variety of milkshakes, but I will not be eating their burgers.

I have, to my best knowledge, Never had a kid valley burger. I thought it was a decent frozen patty burger. What made it good was the amount of bacon on it! The blueberry shake was very good. The onion rings were better than most fast food joints. I guess that this review is going down the path that is, for a burger joint that is renowned for their burgers, they should use a better burger. Every thing else was better than average. The patty was Costco. I will have to heed previous advise and try a different location before I write kid valley off entirely. The price that I payed for this meal was well above the culinary experience. Yet I do love a good blueberry milk shake!

I love Kidd Valley! The food is always yummy, but the enviorment looks exactly the same as when I was a child, and the customer service is pretty poor. If the food wasnt so tasty I would not return. At first I thought I was just getting people who were a lil grumpy but the more I went over the years I realized that they just do not provide good service. It is sad because the food is so good. If I was trying it for the 1st time I would most likely not return. The only reason they keep my buisness is because I know my food will be good and I have been going there since a child.

Not a bad burg, great shakes and onion rings. I have tended to avoid the rest of the menu to avoid grease-bomb-fever. A definite throw-back place though and has a lot of the ambience angled towards making it fun for kids

My absolute favorite! Super good burgers. Amazing shakes. Great fried mushrooms. I also love their trivia punch card! They are also very nice!

Kidd Valley is pretty close to where I work, so I come in once every week or two and they’ve made a really strong impression. The quality of the food and the service really shine through. The menu is a short and sweet list of diner favorites: burgers, fish and chips, fries, onion rings, milkshakes and the like. The burgers are very delicious and quite large, so I’m normally satisfied after just a mini cheeseburger. When I order the sweet potato fries they are always perfectly cooked. A co-worker and I shared a sampler once and everything in it was great. The food is good, but the customer service is what makes this place really stand out. The staff always comes around to check up and make sure everything is going well and the manager is very responsive to feedback. There was a small mix-up with my order one time and the manager went above and beyond to make it right. I really like it here and you should give it a shot!

Good people, Great Service but the food was lackluster. The much heralded garlic fries were just mostly garlic minces, the fries were not flavorful. The milkshake was ok, nothing unique about this place.

Boring burger. Boring, soggy sad looking fries. And while they have a good selection of exotic shake flavors, they too are boring. I don’t think I’ve had this much bland food in any one place before. Usually you just hit one ot two boring items on a menu and can walk out saying«well, at least X was good, right?» No. Everything me and my buddy had here was boring and bland.

I’ve always been a fan of Kidd Valley. I usually went to the one in Bothell or Aurora. I tried their Mushroom Burger(great), and Fish Sandwich(ok). and I really love their Side Sampler too. I recently tried this location at lunchtime. Compared to the other locations, this one has the best customer service. The lady came to every table to make sure everything is good and left a small packet of wet tissue to wipe your hands when you’re done eating. Excellent. However I can’t say the same about the food. The side sampler tasted different than the other two locations I tried before, as well as the burger I had. I believe it’s the oil they use for cooking. 2 hours later my stomach started growling, needless to say I got diarrhea. the stomachahe and the stomach growling lasted until the day after. Will never go back here. :(

My first time here and I wish we lived closer. Walking in I was unsure of the menu but as I looked I liked what I saw. I ordered the cheeseburger with a white bun, they have whole wheat buns as well but I stuck with the white. I saw on the wall they have something called the mini sampler which has fried mushrooms and onion rings as a side. The mushrooms were breaded perfectly and the onion rings were in the thick side which I usually don’t like but I liked these. The rings were crispy and not greasy. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger and he really like that. He also had a root beet shake and that was good. Over all I really liked the food. They make mini burgers which I should have got. If you have a small appetite go with the mini burger’s so you can finish the mini sampler.

The food is ok but not worth the price(s) the service when I went there was less than courteous, the woman behind the counter acted as if I came in during her lunch break. The location is inconvenient, you can only access it from one direction, your better off going further up the street to Wendys on the opposite side of the street. RUN! Expensive, Poor Service, Burgers are’nt bad but not worth the cost.

For Fast food, this place is really pretty good. I probably go to Kidd Valley about once or twice a year. Their burgers are fresh, cooked to order, and quite tasty. They have a regular and a mini size. I am also really excited because now they have whole wheat buns. Which are tasty on burgers, plus, you know, healthy and stuff. The real winner though? Milkshakes! I am not the type to order a milkshake. Not that I don’t love them, because I do, but because I know I won’t be able to finish it. At Kidd Valley, I force myself to. Their Peanut Butter and Chocolate milkshake is super tasty. Very few places have peanut butter, so when I find one that does, I am pretty stoked. They have lots of good sides too like fried mushrooms, sweet potato fries and garlic fries. Although, I usually just stick with a burger and a shake.

I didn’t try the garlic fries, and now I wished that I had(after reading all of the other reviews). I did try their Berry Shake, but it tasted mostly like vanilla. Couldn’t tell there was anything«berry» in it unfortunately :( The burger was good and juicy. The fried mushrooms were pretty yummy, as well. People behind the counter were nice, and the place overall looked pretty well kept.
