Min’s Day Spa

Mindy gives the best facial in Bellevue! I have had 4 facials from her now, and today she gave my husband his first facial and he loved it!
Mindy is the utmost professional and so knowledgeable about skincare. She is extremely thorough and really cares about her clients! I had never had a hydro facial before this, and now I’ll never settle for anything else! Your face will thank you!

When I moved to Washington last year it was a nightmare finding a good person to do my regular facials with. I tried different services all over, both on the eastside and Seattle but I was not fully happy with any of them. I was used to facials with a very personal touch, where you don’t feel like you are yet-​another-​client and that they do not seem like they are counting down the minutes to the end of your facial.
Then behold, Mindy appears! She is sweet and friendly, and is always there if you need any additional help with your skin. For instance, one time betweeen facials my skin started breaking out like crazy and she offered to look at it and treated it at no cost. And it wasn’t mere poking on my bumps, she took out her machines and creams and things– the next day my face was so much better. She also pampered my skin for my birthday as a gift! She isn’t calculative with her services (she stays with you way past the 1 hour mark sometimes, just giving you extra goodness or massages), and she also listens to not just your concerns with your skin, but actually cares and remembers things you tell her.
Mindy feels like a relative to me and I’m happy to have found her. Here is my long due review for you Mindy, thank you for everything you have done for me! :)

I have been going to Min’s for over a year now. My initial appointment was with a Groupon but I loved the service so much (Hydrafacial) that I have continued. Mindy is an amazing asthetician and always customizes my faciails to my need at that time. My skin looks fantastic and while the environment isn’t as posh as many salons that I’ve been to, the service is beyond anything I’ve received before. Thanks Mindy!

I found Min to be a delight to spend time with, I had a pedicure done and could not have been happier.
What a lovely lady, very fun and knowledgable.
I certainly will be returning !

Facials:
My GF got a facial here as a surprise. I purchased a Groupon and they treated us with respect and courtesy. I didnt get the Groupon effect where they gave us poor service or short handed us the quality of their service just because it was discounted. I felt like we got everything promised.
The technician was VERY interested in her face, so much that she would stare at her while my GF filled out the paperwork. A little weird but I’ll take it that she is very serious about her work!
The atmosphere was a mix of economic fluorescent lights and clean surfaces, not a luxury spa but very hygienic at the least.
From my GF’s experience it sounded like she really enjoyed the experience and service. We thought it would be more about cleaning and massaging her face but the technician spent most of the time popping my GF’s pimples. When she was done her face was quite red but somewhat whiter/​lighter.
Post Facial:
We’re both a bit disappointed. The facial really made her face susceptible to much more. Her pimples are worse and overall skin has worsened.

FOR NAILS:
Let me start by saying they get a five star rating for their super friendly staff, but I wasn’t as pleased with my nails, which is all I had done.
Shellac Manicure: Ok job, didn’t get the color all the way to the edge of the nail, which is one of my pet peeves. Also, the color looked WAY different on my nails than the sample they have of a painted nail (purple vs. pink). Trust the bottles and not their sample nails…
Pedicure: Ok, this time she did get the color to completely cover the nails to the edges. She added sparkles when I had decided I didn’t want them, so she must not have understood me (unfortunately I was reading my book and thought she was just doing a second coat of the other color until I looked up). Also, they didn’t have a nail dryer, which I thought was strange. They also only have pedicure chair, so you can’t book appointments with friends.
FREE Parking: Not really, though they did validate my parking from the parking garage, it only covered $ 3 of the $ 7 I had to pay. I recommend trying to find a 2 hour parallel spot, or making sure you ask them for 2+ validation tickets to cover your parking.
I probably wouldn’t go back to get my nails done.

I am so happy with my flawless skin because it is evident that Min’s Spa’s focus is to bring out the beauty in all females and even male. Thank you Min for a great job well done and for educating me about the right way to take care of my skin. You exceeded my expectations!

I had my first hydrafacial here about a week ago — and thank goodness for Mindy! She is amazing. She explained every step of the process. At no point did she pressure me into buying any products (which is a HUGE bonus for me!!!) The spa is pretty small and intimate, which to me is perfect.
I don’t have horrible skin, but I don’t have perfect skin either. Mostly I am working on taking care of acne scars from those awful teenage years that I can hide during the day but want to not worry about when my skin starts to age. I went for tips and tricks and routine «maintenance» :-). She was blunt and honest about my skin — thank goodness! I appreciate her honesty and her guidance as to what I can do to help my skin improve while between facials. I think that honesty is what made me schedule my next appointment — who needs niceties when it comes to taking care of your skin??? Not me! I want the facts and i want to know that I can call her between facials and get advice. It’s great to get the personal attention and have her remember me specifically — I’m not just another client to Mindy.
She offers a full range of services and I’m looking forward to trying them all out!
