Recoop Spa

I went in yesterday with a friend — for a shellac manicure, and a Recoop pedicure. The spa has a really cute setup. (I’ve been to other nail places that are tiny and more like a little nail-​doing factory. That is no fun!) And both the manicurist Anna, and pedicurist Lina, did a wonderful job. Anna spent a lot of time getting rid of those cuticles. And unlike other pedicurists, Lina did not complain that my toe-​nails are tiny! :D
And all of this was done for a reasonable price.

Had one of the best nail experiences ever! Ask for Anna! She is so sweet and advised me on what nail shape to do. She is very friendly and ultimately wants to make her clients happy. She only works on Saturdays so book her in advance! The mood there is very classy. They are unlike other regular salons as they serve tea! I’m already planning on getting a pedi from Anna soon and taking my family with me!

The receptionist I talked to yesterday was so helpful. I believe her name was Sydney, she defiantly helped make my booking apt. easy and answered all my annoying questions.

Loved this salon — my bestie and I went here for pedicures and it was incredibly clean, the staff was really friendly and the pedicure was top-​notch! They take their time to make sure things are done right, the paint job was excellent and the color selection is also very good. Looking forward to going back again!

Schedule ahead to see Cassandra. She is the nail team lead and takes a lot of responsibility for all the nail stylists. She did my shellac manicure with such attention to detail and perfectionism: PERFECTION. Look at my photo. I have finally found the one nail stylist whom I trust!
I have also seen her for a regular nail polish manicure, and the polish lasted about 7 – 10 days with no chipping and it looked like shellac! I am consistently rough on my hands and nails, and it’s a miracle that polish lasted that long.
I have also been here for a baby shower, and the staff was very flexible and gracious, and let us use the entire nail room (the visual focal point of the spa) and let us decorate and set up food. It’s a very pretty, minimalist, and on-​trend space.

Thank you so much for the amazing pedicure. Michelle was very friendly and did such a good job. I am a nail tech in Oregon and was very impressed with the level of cleanliness and customer service. Highly recommend this place.

Let me first say, I did not make this transaction easy. I had 17 people, various services needed, not sure on the date. Grace totally made this day happen without one flaw. The staff were all nice and accommodating, they made my team feel so special. I was more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of my pedicure. My facial was divine, and my massage was heavenly.
It is about time that Bellevue has a salon that provides quality service at a very good price.
Thank you Grace and your staff for making our event so special, I will be back very soon and I think a few of my other team members will as well.

Amazing & unforgettable experience! We decided to have a girls day at the spa and celebrated our friends birthday at Recoop. The service was exceptional from the moment we booked our appointment with Carly. We had a fairly large group and it was difficult getting an appointment at several salons because it was last minute. Carly was able to move things around to accommodate us. The spa had such a warm and relaxing feel to it and Anna was fabulous. I decided to get s mani/​pedi from her. She was such a joy to be around and the service and quality she provided was awesome. Anna is definitely my go to girl for manis and pedis. All of my friends had such an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Anna and Carly for making this event so fun and memorable and we will be seeing you again very soon!

They are so ridiculously accommodating! My friends bday is around Christmas so it’s always hard to get in places to celebrate. They juggled their schedule around to fit 6 girls in at the same time for the services we wanted and everyone was done around the same time! One of my friends kept on messing up her nails, and they fixed it time and time again! And they happily took pics for is numerous times!
Prices are very reasonable especially for a spa in Bellevue!
This place is so cute and cozy, if I lived closer, this would definitely where I would go for my weekly pedi!

Was recently in town for a quick visit and was again able to stop by this great spa with my girlfriends! Fortunately I had some time to burn so I got a facial, massage and mani-​pedi. Absolute BEST service all around! From start to end. Loved my mani-​pedi, it’s been a week and my nails still look perfect! They really took their time and made sure that all our needs were met and the experience was perfect. We even were able to get some wine while we had our nails done — can’t get better than that! And Grace the owner did my facial — really was a totally relaxing day with my girlfriends! Love the atmosphere and the quality of the services! Highly recommend! Cannot say enough good things about this place!
Great for parties or just your regular maintenance.

Here is my story
They have some kind of membership package. you have to paid $ 85 per months for minimum 3 months, which is expensive.
And they said under this membership you can choose some service you want for only $ 85 dollars.
The service they provide are expensive, such as facial and massage, it’s around $ 100 per service. So I purchased the membership for three months. after three months I checked my bank statement, it shows they keep my card information and charge me. I was mad about they did the payment without asking me, because in that time I already reached minimum 3 months, and I only use my membership twice, obviously I can’t use them up but they keep charging me. and I send an email to them, they reply me that «the payment is Automatically if you want to pause the automatic payment you have to tell us 30 days earlier before you cancel your next monthly payment“which they NEVER mention when I first purchased my membership. so i send they a email cancel the automatic payment for next month, I was sad because I’m so busy this year, don’t have much time for spa. but they said 30 days earlier so I didn’t ask them give me my money back, and thinking that I can’t use it later month.
Until that time I paid the $ 85 dollars four times for the membership and I only use it twice (the second time I use it the girl in the font desk asks me pay for my service!!! the service I choose is the one even cheaper than $ 85)
Yesterday I send they an email for schedule an new appointment use my membership I left.
THEY SAID:“After reviewing your membership, it looks like the benefits have already expired and any that were left were canceled when you stopped your membership»
WHAT???
Expired and canceled???
I know now they will say you have to use your membership at the month you made the payment.
But when i first made the purchased I told the people in store I will not in the state for three months, everybody in store told me it was ok, I can use it later. But now they tell me it was EXPIRED!!! and if the membership will expire why are you guys keep charging me when I’m obviously unable to using my membership? its ROBBERY！
It’s $ 340 dollars for total 4 months, I only use it twice if you say I can’t use it anymore you should give me my money back for $ 170 dollars. i will not pay for $ 170 dollars for nothing!
I want to tell the store owner if you want your store last long, PLEASE do not trying stealing money from your customers!!! PLEASE! PLEASE!!!
After all these stuff, the store owner contact me the other day. I reply her email but she does not reply my email, is been several days.
seems she really don’t care.

I have checked out many spa and nail salons and have yet to see one that is of this caliber. Every single one of my clients that I have sent over, absolutely love this place. I am also in the beauty industry so listen when I say that I am pretty particular about customer service to quality of service.
The interior is done so well where it is modern, but still has such a homey feel. I believe it is always the little things in a business that makes it successful. Little things such as always greeting me with a glass of water after a spa treatment. Or the front desk girls always having a smile on their face. It can make a huge difference.
Whether you need a nail service or a spa treatment, recoop spa will deliver! Check them out!

Had another awesome facial at Recoop with a group of girlfriends! Definitely a great place for a quick get away. Every time I’m in town I definitely will make it a point to schedule services here. It’s convenient, clean, beautiful and just really all around great and on point every time!
I usually will not make comments on other people’s reviews since everyone has their own «reality» (although I have done so in the past when I see unfair reviews) — in reference to Cassie M’s long winded review, I’ve never heard of people demanding that all food and drinks be comped anywhere and then to blast a business for giving them the comp is just serious ridiculousness and sounds like someone was just trying to get away with freebies!!!
My experience started with a lovely greeting from the super friendly front staff, then whisked off to put on our cuddly robes, and RELAX in the relaxation room to enjoy some tea. Ahhh — wish I could just live here! Then off to my facial, just the right amount of cleansing and YES actual extractions — not the usual pass over that I usually get at the super pricey hotel spas. I felt super clean and fresh. And the added benefit of a quick hand massage in between was a nice touch. BTW, Adele’s new album was on as well — so awesome! Loved every minute!
I always stop into spas at every city I visit, around the world from Hong Kong, Thailand, Turkey, Paris, Madrid, and when I lived in New York the closest thing to this type of experience was Bliss Spa SOHO, but for 50% more in price and usually nothing to write about. This spa is definitely a great neighborhood find.

Looking for a relaxing spa day with your girlfriends? Go somewhere else! A group of 4 girlfriends and I booked a spa day with messages, facials, pedicures on a Saturday morning. My friend organized the morning with the spa which included breakfast and mimosas for an extra $ 23 per person. We were asked to arrive early to partake in the breakfast and relax before our service. Upon arrival, there was nothing set up. When we inquired, they simply stated that they forgot. The receptionist said she would run to the store and grab some food for us. We began our massages a bit irritated… and starving! They were able to set up a fruit platter and a pastry tray. It was okay, and we appreciated the quick action but it was not what we were expecting or what we had arranged. After my massage, I was whisked upstairs for my pedicure. I asked for a mimosa but they never brought one to me.
Disappointed, my friend asked the front desk to remove the $ 23 per person charge for the food and mimosa service since it was sub par and only 2 girls were offered a beverage. The front desk complied and apologized for the oversight. When we were finished with our services, they tried to charge us for the full amount. We mentioned the agreement to remove the $ 23 charge per person they agreed to and the front desk assistant stated that she spoke with the owner and the owner would only let her take a portion of the charge off. My friend asked to speak with the owner over the phone. The owner argued that the front desk girls had to run to the store and that we should be charged for the food and beverages. My friend explained that the services were not set up on time, the food was from QFC and was sub-​par, and only 2 girls had a half of a mimosa. When we asked for one, they never brought them out. The owner continued to argue for several minutes with my friend. I was appalled overhearing this conversation and in disbelief that someone in the service industry would sit on the phone and bicker about $ 23 per person when we were were paying at least $ 160 per person for the services! The owner, finally, agreed to remove the charge.
The massage was nice and the pedicure was okay. Nothing to write home about but it wasn’t bad. However, the small detail, that could have easily been remedied, made a decent experience into a horrible one. Avoid this spa and plan your girls day somewhere else!

My friends and I decided to try Recoop for a little girls day splurge, and I am so glad we did! I received a phone call on my way to the spa that the party ahead of us was running a little late, and asked if we could come in later. Normally I would be kind of annoyed, but they offered us wine for the inconvenience. When we arrived they whisked us back to relax in the quiet room until they were ready. Our pedicures were fantastic. Very relaxing, and Michelle did an amazing job. She was fun to chat with too! Minus the delay in our service and being surrounded by the end of a baby shower, everything was great, and I will definitely be going back!

I got the Superwoman (shellac) Manicure and the Heeling Therapy pedicure with Christie. I really enjoyed both services! My heels were in bad shape and the pedicure seemed to do the trick. The pedicure included a paraffin dip, scrub, and a mask. It was just what I needed! It was a little pricy though, compared to what a pedicure would cost at a normal nail salon, but I was in the mood to splurge. It was very relaxing and I loved the ambiance of the spa. Though I probably won’t be going to get my nails done here every month, I will definitely be back again — I want to try some of the spa services!
It would also be a great place to bring your girl friends for a girls day!

I’ve been Unilocaling for awhile now and it’s very rare that a horrifying experience propels me to write a review. Even then, I give myself a few days to «cool off» which is what I’ve done and am ready to share my experience. Bottom line, I do not recommend this place for eyebrows.
Recently I went back for my third brow appointment. My first two brow appointments were fantastic! I have this fear that they will wax off too much hair and mess with the shape of my brows so I make sure to repeat what it is that I’m looking for and that the esthetician can articulate it back to me. The esthetician gave me exactly what I asked for during these two appointments.
The third brow appointment I had, my worst fear was realized and I was extremely upset. The esthetician, a different one from the one I had seen previously, not only took too much hair off but messed with the shape. I was left with not only thin eyebrows but she also waxed off hair where the brow starts so I have a huge gap between my brows which is very unflattering. She further went rogue and also took hair off from the front of my brows giving them a completely different shape.
When she handed me the mirror to ask if I’d like any more hair removed, I was shocked at what I saw. I definitely didn’t want more hair removed and told her this is not what I asked for. There was definitely a huge miscommunication because she responded by saying didn’t take off much hair and had just cleaned up like what I had asked for. I completely disagree.
I left the treatment room to go back to the lobby and pay. Grace, who I presume is the spa owner, was there and I told her about my subpar experience. She listened to the feedback and offered an apology but unfortunately there wasn’t anything she can do. Now it’ll take weeks to «undo» the damage done and in the meantime I have to spend extra time daily to fill in my eyebrows.

I got my lashes done by Lacy– they turned out amazing!!!
She has the best customer service and was extremely accommodating regarding my comfort the whole time. She was in no rush and took her time with each lash, it’s obvious she takes pride in her work. I definitely appreciate that. ReCoop Spa is very unique. The staff is professional but very down to earth. I would highly recommend seeing Lacy for lash extensions and regular fills!

Ahhh~ I love going to the spa. I wish it was an actual pastime because I’d be a pro at it. But since it’s not really, a trip to the spa, for me, is a fantastic once-​in-​a-​while treat! I’m so glad I decided on Recoop.
I got a facial here the other day and it was so relaxing and refreshing. As my pic shows, they are serious about giving a great facial! Legit, haha. Sometimes, when I get facials, I’m not sure that it’s actually doing anything. I often feel like it’s hit or miss — some places make you feel like you’ve totally wasted your money and other places make you feel like you want to spend all your money there. I’d say Recoop is the latter!
I love the products they use here. It’s a mix of Jurlique, Coola, and some other organics. The steam machine and cleanser they used seem pretty effective. My skin felt so clean even after 1 visit! Hoorah!
I love the actual spa itself. It’s so cute and has that cozy urban chic vibe that is seemingly rare in this area. They have big farm doors to their rooms, a large area for a girls’ day out or small party. Nicely laid out! Though, I will say that I could hear a lot of footsteps and chatter going by as I was in the room. I personally didn’t mind too much but I can see some folks being bothered by this when they are trying to relax. Just a heads-​up!!!
Recoop also has quite a good inventory of lotions, creams, etc. at the reception area of the spa. It’s fun to look through (and purchase)!
Would love to come back soon!

I love this place. I am here once every two weeks for a Shellac manicure, and ALWAYS book with Juanita! She’s so awesome. I am generally really picky about the shape and application job, and she just so happens to be a perfectionist :) She is incredibly patient and always does the best job on my nails. For those who wrote about the Shellac peeling off, please keep in mind that, based on my experience, different brands has different effect on different people. Recoop carries two brands: CND, which is my personal favorite, and Gellish. So if your shellac didn’t work out as nicely as you expected, maybe switch to the other brand.
Regardless, I think this place is awesome. Both Grace and Juanita are so accommodating to my requests!
