Salon Mode

I’ve seen Gerrit for years now. He takes the most ambiguous of descriptions for what I want and makes it happen and look great. Nice location, easy to park and get in your appointment quickly.
Talk to Gerrit about exercise/​cycling/​training and you’ll have plenty to discuss.

Gerrit is a amazing stylist and has the best skills for cutting short hair for woman. He was able to take my thin yucky long hair and cut it into something that framed my
face. I get lots of compliments on my hair everyday.

I’m really picky about hair stylists and was so bummed to leave my favorite stylist in the Bay Area. That being said, I couldn’t be more pleased to find Gerrit at Salon Mode. He’s always thoughtful about creating a style that will be both flattering on me an fit my lifestyle. I’ve never gotten more compliments on my hair before!
Besides being a fantastic stylist, Gerrit is also just a great guy. He’s a really interesting conversationalist and the kind of person I look forward to getting to chat with regularly.
As others have noted, the salon itself great. It’s clean, simple and stylish with a single chair. I’ve always frequented larger salons and I have to say it’s so relaxing and personal to be the only client! The online booking system also makes booking an appointment super quick and easy. All-​around great salon!

Tiffany has been cutting my hair since 2006 and is one of the only people that has actually figured out what to do with it. She and Gerrit have set up a great space. It is very clean and professional.

I had recently moved from Portland to Seattle and the time came that I needed a new hair person. I was terribly sad to leave my last guy because he was great, and my expectations are quite high, so I spent a good amount of time asking around and looking. This is how I came upon Salon Mode and, more specifically, Gerrit.
My initial reaction upon walking into Salon Mode was «wait a second, how good of a hairdresser can a bald man be?» I soon proverbially ate my own words because Gerrit is, in fact, the best hair guy I have ever had, to date (yes, even better than Portland hair guy).
Getting a cut at Salon Mode is an EXPERIENCE. Gerrit is super cool, disarming, and welcoming, and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable in the space. For the first time in my life I wanted to go back to get a haircut even though I didn’t really need one. Treating oneself should be about more than scissors chopping off hair, it should be about allowing oneself to enjoy the kind of positive and relaxing experience that Salon Mode offers.
The girl who is impossible to please… is very pleased. :-)

Best cut ever!!! After years of using high-​end stylists in Manhattan and LA, I was referred to Tiffany by a friend and was AMAZED at the great cut. Even my discerning husband rated it a «10» which was a first. Tiffany really spent time in assessng the best cut for me and it shows!

This salon is shared by a lovely couple Tiffany and Gerrit. They used to work at Gene Juarez for years and now started their own business. This place is inside the brand new Elements building at downtown Bellevue. The suite has a large window and just a single chair. It is quite, pleasant and relaxing.
Gerrit cut my hair and gave me a new young and rich look. I went shopping at Bellevue Square afterwards and got a new dress to match it. When my husband saw me in the new hairdo and dress, he offered to take me to a bar for drinks. I am 47 and yes, this is fantastic!
