Clara Senger is an amazing hair stylist. I went to her for cuts when I lived in Bellingham a few years ago. She is a miracle worker. I have really difficult coarse, not quite straight, not quite wavy hair that doesn’t lay right on its own, and she could cut it into this sleek cute easy to style bob that would grow out very gracefully and look lovely for months through the shoulder length stage. My hair hasn’t been the same since I moved away.

I was in town for vacation in Bellingham and had BAD HAIR! The stylish bob Byrlee Pai gave me made me feel gorgeous again! Thanks Byrlee for the great service, friendly conversation, excellent scalp massage and precise cut. Now I won’t stress about getting a cut before I travel, I’ll come see you when I arrive!

Gotta give props to my girl Courtney! I have gone to her for almost 2 years and I am always in awe with her work. She customizes my lashes to fit my personality. She goes above and beyond to accommodate my schedule. Her work is first rate and I am always asked were I get my lashes done. Courtney started off as my «lash girl» but now I call her friend.

I had my eye lashes done and they looked great but they all fell out in 2 weeks. When I told her she seemed suprised. I just wanted her to see them. She said it was very unusual. Okay? So she said I will redo them for a fill price. I said okay but I felt like she should of redone them without charge. It was not my fault. They looked good but you could tell she was a bit annoyed. I said I would call her and let her know how it went. We used a different glue. They stayed in much better. She didn’t want me to call or stop by. She said she would call. I didn’t hear from her so I called & let her know I liked them. Upon reflection I felt like she should of redone them without charge. I just shared that with her. I know I guarantee my work. She told me she would refund my $$ and I said no that’s okay just use it towards my 3 week fill. She said she didn’t want to do my eye lashes anymore she didn’t think it was a good idea! Why I said she just said she doesn’t want the problems… I went to her twice. I was disheartened and confused I was just trying to be honest. Forget about the Customer Service… I don’t understand what I did? She met me twice & fired me! I Would not recommend her ever!!!. She obviously didn’t care about me or my business… Her reasoning was she didn’t need the problems and I complain. I told her if I was going to go behind your back why did I try to talk to her? Now I feel the need to warn everyone about her lack of professional skills and her 0 tolerance.

I went here to get my hair done for a wedding. The bride made a reservation for herself and all the girls in the bridal party at 8am. We were supposed to be at the church by 11:00. We had 8 girls all together in our party but only 2 stylists were available to do hair! Because if that, a few people were late causing us to have to cut pictures short before the wedding.
Other than the scheduling problem, the actual service was great. The stylists were knowledgeable and did a great job.
The salon itself is exclusively Bumble and Bumble products. I’ve never seen the products before and thought it was a little odd. But the products worked well.

I am updating my review because the owner of this salon did finally get in touch with me and was very nice and understanding. She is refunding the money I spent on the haircut and she did offer to cut it herself. I went to another salon in town this morning and got a great haircut for $ 15 less than I paid at Argyle. The one I got today is exactly what I asked for before and was so unhappy with. It’s great! Too bad I got a bad stylist because the owner of this place really did step up to the plate and did the right thing.

This salon is fantastic! I moved to Bellingham last October, and was looking for a good salon. I gotta be honest, being attached to my Scottish heritage, the name of this place stood out amongst the others. I was randomly assigned Élan as a stylist, and have been coming to her every since. She is just fantastic, as is the entire atmosphere of the salon. Everyone is so kind and helpful! I enjoy my experience each time I go in, and the ladies there have grown very friendly with me. The conversation is always great!
As for services, Élan has always been professional, understanding and wonderfully creative. I have very short hair, and each time I come in with a concept of what I want to do, Élan is always on board, and making suggestions. Every time I’ve gone in, I’ve been thrilled with the service I received from her. She has bleached my hair several times, as well as various cuts and some honestly kinda crazy stuff. Every time Élan has been wonderful and flexible. I could not be happier with her, and Argyle Salon! We are moving to another town, and I’m so sad. If I could, I’d pack Élan up in my pocket and take her with me!

I’m almost never happy when I get my hair done and argyle salon is the only place where I’ve loved it literally every time. Briley fixed my hair when another stylist (who works somewhere else) botched it. She only charged me for a flash foil even though she did more than that and I left feeling so much better. She wasn’t available when I made my next appointment so I had my hair done by Ashley. Every single time Ashley’s done my hair it’s looked beautiful and exactly the way I hoped it would. And these girls give BOMB head massages!

Another Argyle Review! They have added new services with their ever expanding list of offerings. Megan is now doing makeup artistry and airbrush makeup! She is very meticulous and does an amazing job. Quick and easy, and worth it for all of your special events.

Great place to get a haircut, dye job, and a sugar waxing! Definitely my new favorite salon in Bellingham!

I just moved to Bellingham and have had a cache of excellent hairdressers in my past. I went through a few in town with mediocre results. Multiple friends recommended Honey Salon, but they had no openings. So I tried out the closest Aveda Salon, Argyle, and was randomly assigned Megan as my stylist.
This whip-​smart, funny and sweet girl was not only an amazing stylist (I asked her to blend two different types of styles from pictures I showed her) but the lass was 7 months pregnant and spent 3.5 hours on my hair anyway. As a mother of two, 3.5 hours on your swollen preggo feet to get a task done amounts to superhuman perfectionist abilities. Plus her amazing scalp massage made me melt into the chair.
Megan listens to what you want, she asks you what you think and then she amends it to perfection. The salon itself uses Bumble and Bumble products, which are heaven. And it’s a great location right downtown.
Go to Argyle, and ask for Megan. Because you’re worth it!

The team here is amazing. Ive only been once but my mom goes in constantly. They have a chic, beautiful salon with local artwork featured on the walls.
If your willing to spend a some money to get a wonderful haircut/​style than this is the salon for you!

Love this place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Amber cut my hair and I’m very happy. She spent extra time finishing the final look which was much appreciated.
