I really liked Frida but I have to say I spent a fortune and my hair has never looked so wrong. Very disappointed with the color and she cut my bangs so short it was ridiculous. Bangs grow back but for the amount of $$ I spent, I will never go back.

Definitely the best place to go if you have ethnic hair here in Bellingham. Might be pricey but worth it. I’ve bought facial products as well as hair products from Zoras. My hair has grown so much I shock Frida every time I show up! The facial products are organic and smell fresh and works wonders. They aren’t heavy and I have to say I recently got some lip gloss that I love! So yea if u need Ur hair done makeup done face cleared and feeling fresh go to Zoras! Pricey both worth it for sure! Trust me I don’t have money to be spending for my hair to get done constantly but since I want to take care of my hair and skin I make sacrifices. And I’m happy with the outcome. not on champion anymore**new location** so call for directions

I got eyelash extensions here, I would never do it again. My mom got some for $ 45, and I said I wanted double what she had, but Zora wound up charging me $ 150, and only told me after they were all glued on. I felt stuck paying way more than I wanted to. Also they eyelashes were applied terribly. She glues more than 5 of my eyelashes into clumps that she attached the eyelash extension to. She wound up glueing my eyes closed and ripped my bottom lashes out to get my eyes unglued. There were clumps of glue all over my eyelashes. My eye was irritated the whole time I kept them on. I had to pick away at the clumps of glue because at least two of them were scratching my eye every time I blinked. I wound up taking them all off after a little more than a week because it was so uncomfortable. She did a good job with my eye brows though. She seems like she would do ok with basic salon stuff, but not for eyelash extensions.

Man. Hm. What to say? Basically, Zora’s is *very* hit or miss. I had a good experience there with my style, but have several contacts say they experienced poor quality and were overcharged. Zora’s is one of a few places in Bellingham that specializes in braids and ethnic hair care but isn’t the best. Over the years the owner has branched out into nail care and other salon services, including massage so that might have soemthing to do with why hair care quality has fallen a bit. The pricing is all over the map, lacking consistency I would encourage people to shop around and make sure they know what they’re getting into before spending lots of money here. You might be better off heading to Seattle, Vancouver, or Rapunzel’s.
