I have a sort of nostalgia for Denny’s Diner food so I initially walked in, with the hopes of recreating an old childhood favorite. That was quickly taken away from me as I was sat next to the restaurants garbage can, fated to be subjected to the harsh smells of whatever Denny’s throws in their trash. I ordered your classic grand slam, you know, eggs, sausage, a couple pancakes, and a fruit cup. Terrible. The first bite contained at least two hairs, combined with the scent of the trash can sickened me, but I was hungry and I kept on eating. After eating a good chunk of the eggs, sausage, and pancakes I had to tap out, the garbage smell and the slightly off taste of the sausage was getting to my head. At this point my waitress had been ignoring me for a solid 4 minutes, what the hay! This was such a darn disappointment. will not be returning.

To start, I don’t have high expectations for the run-of-the-mill diner menu. So it says a lot that I felt I needed to Unilocal about this particular Denny’s location. We booked a hotel near this Denny’s for the weekend and though we’d grab some greasy, but usually good breakfast before heading back home. We were wrong. Our food came out a little too fast but no problem there. However it was cold, not just the waffles, but the eggs, watery sausage, limp bacon, and way under-cooked hashbrowns. My husband also had some black chunks in his regular pancakes, turns out they were 5 random chocolate chips. On top of it, our waitress deserted us soon after dropping of the food so we just decided to make the best of it. Service was so-so, nothing warm or friendly but no unnecessary rudeness. You’re better off with grabbing breakfast from the Burger King next door or making the trip to IHOP.

MAN! I remember Denny’s being pretty tasty(or were the hangovers skewing my taste buds at the time?!) Those days are long gone and I choked down some breakfast here because it was the only option available this early in the morning.

Check your receipt. They tried to charge us extra for stuff included. Didn’t even get our order correct and just brought us whatever they thought sounded similar. My son orders spagetti and side saled from the kids menu… they just brought a normal saled… no spagetti… Charged extra for mash potatoes that came with the meal… Husband asked for hearty sausage didnt get it. And then she beought it later and chargedbus for it. Just bad service. Tried to talk to the manager… they were unavailable!

New setting looks nice but it took 5 minutes to realize that we were even there waiting to be noticed to be seated and 10 – 15 minutes to try and get our drink order. They forgot we sat down once they saw us leave. Service is a 0⁄100000000

This Denny’s is a good and normal breakfast experience. The food is just what you expect coming to Denny’s and the customer service was more than expected without being to much. I will be back every time I come to Bellingham

Yes it’s Denny’s, but in my experiences it’s a good one. The food has always come out hot and quickly, even when they seem to be understaffed. I can get a pancake breakfast here at 2 in the afternoon that tastes good and doesn’t destroy my wallet.

I have never complained about a Denny’s yet and I won’t this time. They were quick with getting our order out, stayed on top of our emptying coffees, and served us with a smile. We passed through Bellingham and got all kinds of hungry so we stopped here and it served our hunger purpose. If I’m ever around the area again and get a grumbly tummy, this will be a place to consider again.

This is by far not the cleanest Denny’s I’ve been to — but i’m still a fan. They have good food and the prices are good especially the 2−4−6 menu. I love the dessert they serve and the fact they are open 24⁄7. They are also a stone’s throw away from the slow pitch which makes for a great night. It can either be a hit or miss here though — I’ve meet a couple waitresses who were more than helpful and very friendly — but others can just be downright rude(theres this one girl who works the night shift and it’s pretty obvious she hates her job). Some things I should point out — a friend found a hair in her burger once while we were here but they were very apologetic and gave her a new one for free and took the original burger off the bill. Another time I found a lipstick stain on my coffee mug which I was really grossed out by. They gave me a new mug though. All in all its a decent place, if you find somethings wrong just tell them and they will more than likely fix it.

If night manager Tricia is there, you are in for a treat. she treated us like honored guests in her home, not like«just a job.» I’m used to chorizo just meaning sausage, not spicy sausage like it means around here. Since I mis-ordered I didn’t expect them to do a thing… the cook had already made my meal without peppers… She insisted on making sure I was satisfied, going way above call of duty. The food was really tasty, too. The place was clean and the staff treated each other with care and concern, best Denny’s experience ever.

It’s Dennys, so you should already know what to expect… and that’s exactly what I got. Fairly quick breakfast that is relatively inexpensive, all the coffee you can drink, and even free wifi to pass the time between ordering and eating.

You don’t eat at Denny’s and use Unilocal unless you’re in some dire straits. I took a number of my students here prior to an exodus from Bellingham and while we expected greasy diner food that seems to race out your body we didn’t expect to totally fuck up their day in terms of service. A group of 12? SHUT. DOWN. EVERYTHING. Items were missed, things never appeared after repeated attempts to locate them, food came out less than warm(ugh, danger zone) and while I’m all about funny kitchen banter I feel it’s more appropriate when the customers don’t hear it, especially when the vast majority of banter is specifically targeted at the customers. I was told by a friend after checking in that I should expect diarrhea but sadly I drink enough to render that non unique.

I had liked this location before last night. My friends and I went out and we came here after. I understand it’s Saturday night and everyone comes after they have been drinking, but one @!#$^ guy was past drunk and he got mad and flung a bunch of sugar and jam holders and menus off the table and when everyone turned to see what was up he started yelling, «What the F@#! you looking at?» He was trying to start fights with people and making a scene. The servers didn’t do anything about it. Then one of his«homies» ran in and was freaking out about some guy they had issues with and he and his friends ran outside. At this point there was like 10 guys yelling that they were going to «F» eachother up and what not. They were in front of the door and still the staff pretended not to notice. At this point a costomer called the police and the guys finnally took off. I know drunk guys can get angry and dramatic but this is no excuse to be oblivios and pretend nothing is happening. An inocent bystander could of got hurt and the staff could care less. We took our food to go, before it even touched the table and only then our server felt bad and appoligized for our dramatic visit. Our food wasn’t even that good. Needless to say I never want to go back there again.

Wow. I can’t believe I came here. Twice. The first was for a seven year old’s birthday and she chose it. The second was obviously because of radiation poisoning due to solar flares killing rational thought in my brain. Unless I’m on the road in Kansas or Oklahoma or someplace else that doesn’t have real restaurants, I will never step foot in Denny’s again. On the upside, only at Walmart will you see a greater diversity of pathetic freaks.

Food was good and fast. Hashbrowns were cooked perfectly which is rare at any resturant.

I have a soft spot for Denny’s having been introduced to them by a college roommate while visiting his family. Later on I had a tradition of midnight hotwings with other software engineers in Austin. I had the t-bone steak dinner last night which I have had at Denny’s across the country which is a griddle fried thin steak if you aren’t familiar with it. In general it is a fairly consistent if overpriced menu item across the country. This had to be the worst rendition I have had. First it was overcooked which is not unusual given cooking method, but this was definitely the worst cut of steak I have had at Denny’s. I am not really sure it qualifies as a t-bone cut as the bone was not intact as a T. It was sinewy making it hard to cut and chew. Ick! Mixed vegetables and potatoes were good, but nothing can make up for the meat. Service was good, parking plentiful.
