Our Gato Verde experience was 5 star from start to finish. Captain Todd is easy going and extremely knowledgable. It was great to learn so much about Bellingham Bay and the surrounding islands. We couldn’t have had a better time and will definitely take more of our future houseguests on a Gato Verde cruise.

This is a wonderful tour company. I booked a morning cruise for friends from out of the country and it was a big hit. The boat is comfortable and easy to move around and Captain Todd is exceptional. He is very knowledgeable about the local fauna and we were fortunate to see a lot of wildlife while on our cruise. He was also really flexible with us when one of our party got stuck behind a train and was late for the cruise. The pricing is affordable and reasonable, and you can feel good about supporting a green business. He also allowed our infant to ride for free. Excellent all around. I can’t recommend this business enough. Take a sailing tour!

My husband and I went out for a sunset cruise last night with Captain Todd and his beautiful catamaran! It was a lovely experience. Todd was fantastic! He was more than happy to answer any questions about the boat and the area. He did a great, quick run-through of everything before we took off. I really liked the fact that he was happy and eager to get to know his customers. He was great to talk to, but also wasn’t intrusive if you wanted some alone time with your partner! The boat itself was in great condition. It is definitely well maintained, and even better, environmentally friendly! The sunset cruise was just the right amount of time, and at a great price! I would highly recommend Gato Verde. We definitely plan to do it again with some friends! Thanks Captain Todd!

Captain Todd runs a fantastic little charter business out of the Bellingham Cruise Terminal. His catamaran is big, fun, stable, clean, and green. The boat is powered by either the wind or a bio-diesel burning quiet engine that charges the batteries that power two big electric motors. Yup a green diesel hybrid. We took our whole family out for a night on the boat in the San Juan Islands and we opted for the self catered option. This worked really well for us but if you want a fully catered trip that is your option. Highly recommended way to see the San Juans without the pain of sea kayaking.
