From looking at the other reviews, I must have been here on the right day. Being located in the Alaska Ferry terminal, Halibut Henry’s is more like airport style fast food. My halibut sandwich was delicious and the Ivar’s clam chowder was as good as it is anywhere else.

I had a halibut sandwich the other day and it was tasty! I liked the ciabatta bread on it, good amount of tartar sauce, and the fish was hot and crispy. It took about fifteen minutes but they said that’s because they bake the fish and not fry it. I liked the location overlooking the water, I’d bring a friend here if we are in the Fairhaven area.

I gave Henry’s 1 star, because it’s not possible to give zero stars and write a review. After incredibly s l o w service, taking at least 20 minutes to receive the food(they weren’t busy), the 3 little nasty circles of fish… I kid you not, I’ve seen bigger fried zucchini… and these small potato wedges that were salty to the inedible arrived. 2 of the fish circles had raw batter between the cooked part and the fish. Add to this the $ 27.00 price that would’ve gotten us great fish and chips at several places in town, plus a local brew, needless to say we won’t be back.
