Holy hot damn. Let’s talk about incompetence. I know it’s McDonald; I’m not expecting a five star service. First off, it was slowwwww as heck. No one else was in the restaurant, yet we waited a solid three minutes before anyone served us. Just to note, there was a girl standing behind the counter just drinking her coffee. Another guy ended up helping us. Another point of complaint was the food. Their big marketing posters worked on us, and we got their newly added to the menu mozzarella sticks. I could see them freshly frying these up in the back; I was excited because the picture made them look gooey and yummy. Started eating them and they were barely thawed. Yuck. The McDonald’s itself was also not in the greatest shape. Everything was dirty and the garbage can was overflowing. Overall, this was probably the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had. Embarrassing for me to admit, but I am a huge fan of McDonald’s, but just not this one.

Literally the worst fast food joint I have ever been to. No matter what time you arrive, there will be 3 – 5 cars ahead of you. You will think that’s not so bad, and that you w be out of there in 5 minutes. No. This place is completely unaware that they are«fast food.» They will, every single time, take 20 minutes. You might as well go to a real restaurant and buy some fries without the bromide. It will cost a little more but it will not take any longer than this place. They are officially open 24 hours but you might as well interpret that such that you will be in the drive thru for 24 hours before you get your food. I’ve been to slow fast food places before — Taco Bell in Franklin is also EXTREMELY bad — but these two places absolutely take the cake. I have never, in my entire life, experienced wait times at fast food places as bad as this McD’s and that TB. There is always a lot of cars in line at night, yet they apparently don’t think it a good investment to hire some employees. They might as well be putting an «open» sign on a building with no employees inside. The EXTREME slowness has not just happened to me multiple times… It happens every single time. I don’t stop here often but I never, ever leave satisfied. You probably won’t, either, and should probably drive somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. Stephen S. also gave this place a 1 star review and I still have to call him out… There is no such thing as quick food from this place. I’m not even joking. There is honestly no such thing here. His review is too good! I’ve lived in Bellingham for longer than this McD’s has existed, and it has never been anywhere near decent. Eat a little earlier or go somewhere else for your«fast» food. Buy yourself some cheap canned food like Campbell’s whatever. It will be the BEST decision you have EVER made.

I’ve gone here several times but only went inside for the first time recently. Never again. This location is grossly dirty. Floors are gross, heavy dust on and behind the ice/soda machine, and bathrooms have oddly low hand dryers. I guess the hand dryer isn’t a huge deal but it looks like it was made for toddlers. Either way, the level of dirt and grime easily visible is disgusting. They need to hire a cleaning company ASAP. The ice cream machine was gross and the spouts were clearly covered in filth. The spot where you pull out the ice cream cones are really dusty. I hope they take this review seriously and hire some merry maids.

Nice staff, but horribly understaffed. I went there for lunch, the line was horribly backed up; however, it did not seem as if they were doing much to fix that. How so? There are two spots to order food and only one was being used, also it took over 15 minutes to even pay for my food and even longer to get it. That’s not fast food, that’s a need to get more staff.

Pros: Hot, good and consistent food for McDonald’s. Served as ordered and quickly. 24 hour drive thru. Cons: The dirtiest McDonald’s I’ve ever visited. Unhelpful staff more interested in complaining about staff issues then cleaning and interacting with customers.

Ordered from the Drive Thru. Took 15 minutes for food. This is hardly what fast food is supposed to be. Wonder why they are in so much trouble. Nothing special about our order either.

This McDonald’s is the worst in the area. If you go to any other McDonald’s in the neighboring towns you’ll be much better off. I only eat here when I need something quick if I’m on my break from work. Almost every time I go through the drive thru I have to wait 15 to 20 minutes and there will only be a car or two in front of me. Once I got to the window they asked me what I got again and I had to repeat the order again and it’s not like I had a huge order, only two chicken snack wraps! This has happened almost every time I go there. Also, this McDonald’s isn’t renovated like all the others and is very poorly maintained. I’m always disappointed with this location so I guess I’m going to have to drive to Milford or Franklin to get quality service.

If you happen to be in the area and crave some fast food, leave this place off your list. The next exit on 495 North has a better choice. After a 15 minute Drive through experience, tonight, where I placed my order three times it was a disaster. I stopped at the speaker, waited almost 10 minutes, a guy took the order(his voice conveyed NO confidence that the order would be correct). I drove around to pay, there was the car that had been in front of me for the past 10 minutes still trying to pay. Another 7 minutes later I handed the clerk my payment, he asked if I had ordered something completely different, I told him what I ordered, he asked if I were sure it wasn’t another order that he rattled off.(How difficult is 2 plain hamburgers, small fries and a large coke) He entered the order he had taken from me almost 7 minutes earlier and handed me a receipt, I moved forward looked at the slip and lo and behold… No Fries on the order slip… I wait another 5 minutes at the pick up window and the guy tried to hand me a small drink and I said I had the 2 hamburgers small fries and large coke, he asked for the receipt, I gave it to him and told him the second time I had to order it from the genius at the cashier post he again forgot fries. So, this guy gets pissy. I understand it’s a fast paced and thankless job, but it’s not answering 911. I tried to be polite,(there was only 2 people ahead of me and one behind so it wasn’t as if it were dinner hour, it was 10PM) With a lot of attitude he sneers that he just walked into this. *Gotta tell ya, if I did that while answering 911 I might get in a bit of trouble* I got my order and he stormed off. Going to be the last time I will go there for a long time. The drive through staff is a complete failure. My last trip through was also difficult, with the same cashier on as well. 20 minutes for the most unsatisfactory service I have ever gotten, I just can’t believe I wasted my time there. Fast food workers are crying about wanting to be paid $ 15 an hour. Not with this level of incompetence. If I, while at work answering 911, had done as much wrong as just ONE of these two employees had in this one transaction someone could possibly have died. And I’m not making much more than 17 and hour…

I woke up late and was hungry on the commute to work. I ordered an Egg and Cheese Biscuit Meal at the drivethu. I expected her to ask what beverage I would like. She didn’t. I reiterated that I wanted the meal, and told her I wanted an orange juice as the beverage for the meal. She says ‘ok’ and to drive up to the 1st window. I feared a mixup could be due to a language barrier, so I ask the man at the 1st window to repeat the order. Sure enough, she had not given me the meal; just the biscuit and OJ. I asked to him to add the hashbrowns. When I pulled up to the last window, the lady who took my order handed me OJ and a with just the biscuit. I wait 20 seconds or so just in case they were still getting the hashbrowns ready, but they weren’t coming. Just as I am about to ask her about the hashbrowns, she notices I am still waiting and says«All set» or something unintelligible. I tell her it is not«all set». I hand her the bag back and the receipt which says I purchased the meal. She looks at it, doesn’t understand, and brings it to a manager. The manager goes to the window and says«She only charged you for one». I’m utterly confused now. «One what?», I asked. I told the manager that all I wanted was my hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were the only reason I stopped in here in the first place. Give me my hashbrowns! Half a minute later she hands me my bag back with hashbrowns. Having someone who communicates poorly at the morning drive thru? It can make a lot people that are still waking up very cranky.

I take my godchild here who loves McDonalds. Hey, she’s 9 so why wouldn’t she. McDonald’s does a good job though for fast food, so I’m going to give it 4 stars. Ilove that they are WIFI and most of the newer stores have big TV’s with news on.
