Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt – Lakeway Center

Very easy to navigate and an incredibly friendly staff. They clearly make an effort to have fresh ingredients and make the froyo experience fun. The store is super clean and I like that you can try the different flavors before committing to one. While it’s not my favorite froyo in the world because it’s too sweet, it’s the best Bellingham has to offer.

Super friendly staff and I always enjoy seeing what flavor combinations we can come up with.
Check out the Facebook page before you go if you’re looking for a specific flavor so you’re not disappointed, and make sure you add cheesecake pieces because those are ridiculously delicious.
Great place to take the kids after a soccer game or on a summer evening.

It’s a nice, modern location conveniently located off Lakeway. The frozen yogurt is very yummy and makes a great treat. However, it’s fairly expensive and there is not a lot of seating within the establishment.

Bolstered by the sage reviews from fellow Unilocalers I stumbled in there for medicinal purposes… I had four teeth extracted. oh my gosh that young counter person was so sweet… A few samples later she was kind enough to tell me that on Monday any size and weight of the container is $ 5. that settled it… I filled 2 with combinations to salve my angry mouth. Okay so the toppings are not exactly what the dentist ordered… But I managed to gum fresh bananas and diced strawberries. the manager came in and was extremely friendly as i piled the containers to bursting and managed to leave a trail like a slug wherever I wandered. the place is bright and clean… A plethora of cut fruit and toppings are available. When I got home I popped one container in the freezer. When I retrieved it today it softened nicely within a few minutes. Surprisingly, the fruit had not turned into ice nuggets. it felt so soothing in my very sore mouth. $ 5… what a score!!!

What more can you say about menchies. It’s one of my favorite treats yum! My only complaint is I wish they offered more dairy free options besides the sorbets, there are a lot of us with dairy allergies! Maybe a dairy free chocolate that is always there?

The smell of Menchies just walking in is sickeningly sweet. The flavors they had available were either a gross rendition of summer fruits or ultra sugary cakey flavors. There wasnt much topping selection either. Plus I feel like the name Menchies is some sort of yiddish swear word.

Every time I’ve walked in here, the staff has greeted me with a genuine smile and welcome. They constantly clean the place, so the tables are never sticky and the froyo area is clean. The toppings are always stocked and the choices are endless. They constantly cycle through the froyo flavors as well, but keep the popular ones too. They have board games and card games too, so you can hang around and play games with friends if you want.
Overall, a great place for a light snack or hanging out with friends!

Very very good selection of flavors and very good prices. Always coming out with new flavors each week and Menchies is very good at recycling the spoons you use when you are eating by allowing you to throw the spoon into a recycling bin that is placed right in front of the store. Great atmosphere and fun for kids. In the spring and summer time there is moments when the store is so busy that people are lined up outside the door to get there hands on this delicious yougurt :).

Best frozen yogurt ever. Period.

They staff is always very kind and courteous and the owner is often on site to greet customers. The yogurt and toppings are always fresh and the machines are clean. What a fun place to take the whole family. I love this place.

They rotate their flavors of frozen yogurt often which keeps it interesting. Next to each flavor is a sign that tells you about the nutrition (how many calories per 4 oz, if there is wheat or dairy in it, low or non fat, etc) which keeps me in the know of what I am eating.
They have a huge topping and sauce bar. You pour your fro yo in, top it yourself, and pay! They charge by the ounce and that makes it very affordable. Also, they have waffle bowls! And they are free on Wednesdays.
In addition, they have a members card. For every dollar you spend, you get 1 point. 50 points and you get 5 free! Which adds up much faster than you could believe.

Come prepared to have yummy froyo! I love that they change flavors every time i go! The best flavor is Irish mint and cake batter! Just thinking about it makes me want some! The atmosphere is also awesome because it’s new. There isn’t much seating because the space is really small but just go at an off hour and you’ll be good. The service is pretty cool too, the staff is super duper friendly. Just don’t forget your Menchie’s point card so that you can get some free froyo!

Menchie’s is so yummy! There are Fro Yo flavors to please every palate and toppings (fruit, candy, chocolate, sauces, etc) that will make everyone happy, whether they’re there for a sugar rush or a low-​cal treat.
The owners and employees seem really nice. They have a Facebook page too, and it’s great for learning what new flavors they have (and they have some interesting and fun ones, too!)
The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is expensive. Like, if my husband and me and my 2 kids go it could easily be $ 15-​$ 20, which is a lot for a dessert.

This is the place to go to get your fro-​yo fix!
I recently moved to Bellingham from SoCal and was a frequent customer at the Menchie’s in LA. I was so excited to see a Menchie’s was recently opened here!
Whatever it is you’re craving from frozen yogurt, you can make it yourself here! There is a good selection of flavors (although my favorite is pistachio and they didn’t have it there the last couple times I’ve visited). There’s also a good number of toppings to choose from (with some of my favorites — chocolate chip cookie dough, strawberries and mochi!).
There is a bit of a line to get through to the cash register. Likely because people may have a hard time deciding what flavors or toppings to get. I haven’t had to wait too long but it is hard to wait when you’re hoping your yogurt won’t melt before you get to eat it!
The staff is very friendly and at the end of every transaction, they say «Have a smiley day!» I know that may sound corny, but I love it!
The seating may be looking to be hard to come by but I’ve always been able to find a seat. They are also green since they recycle the used cups and spoons!
Overall, a great place to get a little piece of fro-​yo heaven. I would have given it 5 stars if there was a shorter wait and they had a few more flavors to choose from!

Fantastic selection of non fat and low fat frozen yogurts. Tons of toppings as well. The staff is friendly and maybe the best part, you can sample the flavors before pouring your whole cup. We’ll be back soon!
