Subway

Generally I am happy with Subway, as a international chain restaurant, Subway is pretty good, however this Subway franchise (Bellwether Ln) is an exception.
I have been here many times because it is very close to where I work, but I have discovered that it is better to drive further to go to any other Subway restaurant in Bellingham.
My experience today involved ordering a chicken chop salad. The first issue when I was asked if I wanted the chicken hot or cold in the salad, The person taking my order mumbled so badly that I couldn’t understand the question, I had to ask her 4 times to repeat the question before I understood that she was asking about the temperature of the chicken.
Next the lettuce in the salad was skimpy. I realize that any business needs to make money to be in business, but the people at this subway need to realize that to call it a salad, perhaps they should put more lettuce in it than they do in a sandwich. Lettuce is probably one of the cheaper items in the salad, don’t short me on the lettuce if you want to call it a salad. The rest of the toppings were great, it just would have been nice to have a bit more lettuce.
In previous visits the staff here has generally been rude, or inconvenienced to want to help you.
I would usually rate Subway fairly high compared to other fast food, but this one is simply a dud. Eat at Subway, just don’t eat at this one.

I don’t care what they say, I’m a fan of Subway. Sorry, I didn’t mean for that to rhyme. I was going for my $ 5 foot-​long and was disappointed that the only option was a meatball sub. I’m daring but mystery meatballs, not for me. Had the $ 3– 6 inch black forest ham and it was great. you get to pick out all of the toppings, try the Chipotle, mild but with a hint of heat. A great deal and even if they use preservatives, other than organic, who doesn’t. they even have spinach for your sandwich if you ask. My only problem with the place is the help doesn’t look very happy but who would be making minimum wage.
