Excellent little restaurant right off of Railroad Ave! The food and atmosphere were great. The service was spectacular. Maria Luisa and Horacio are so friendly. We stayed chatting with them for a good while after closing. We will be back next time we come through Bellingham!

Great Mexican food. Lots of food on plate. I only regret not ordering correctly my first time here, tried it off my friend’s plate and loved it more than mine.

Really delicious carne asada! I love their super nachos too. One of my friends’ favorite place to eat! Their liquados? are delicious smoothie-milkshake type things. Kind of a small space but comfy. Really convenient being right downtown!

So many Mexican food options, so little time… well it’s time you make the time to visit Tadeo’s. Their homemade corn tortillas are delightful. Carnitas are amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive. Eat and be merry.

Came in tonight based on the high reviews but was highly disappointment. It was crowded and took us about 20 minutes to get a table for 4. The service was sooooo slow and the waitress just seemed annoyed and like she didn’t want to be there. She didn’t hear us correctly when we were ordering and brought out the wrong beers. The chips and salsa were good, warm chips and flavorful salsa, but that’s where the good flavors ended. My husband’s tamales were dry and the beans were flavorless. I had the chicken en mole and it was very strange, very acidic and almost sour, no savory or sweetness to it. My friend had the pollo ala crema and she was not impressed. There was also a huge portion discrepancy between her chicken dish and mine. Again, service was slow and they never checked on us. The homemade tortillas were very raw and not cooked enough as well. All and all wouldn’t come back.

It was pretty good! Both, the pollo a la crema & chalupa were delicious! The salsa was a little bland and we didn’t get a refill on chips, but it was still overall a pretty good experience. We’d go back!

By far the best Mexican restaurant in Bellingham. The cheese enchiladas with their«secret/special» sauce were so delicious. If I could have, I would have licked the plate clean. The staff are so sweet, friendly and aim to please. The margaritas are a must try when you go, and the jalepenos & cucumber flavor tops the list! Prices are incredibly affordable as well.

Fresh homemade flour or corn tortillas. Pico de gallo was fresh! They serve real«Texas» style barbacoa!!! I can’t believe what Bellingham has to offer. Restaurants in this town are far better than what you find in the Tacoma area. On the night I came to this restaurant everything was fresh and delicious. Except for the barbacoa. It was taken from a Ziploc bag and reheated. It did put me off for a bit, but I quickly got over it. It tasted fresh and was exactly how carnicieras and restaurants in San Antonio makes barbacoa. I liked that Tadeo’s offered Mexican food that wasn’t the typical food that can be had at most Mexican restaurants in the state. The homemade flour tortilla was made with vegetable oil and not enough flour. It made the tortilla very brittle… or maybe because it was also pre-made and reheated and not made to order. If the flour tortilla was made fresh to order with lard and more flour, it would be a wondferful thing. It was still better than the mass produced flour discs that most places use. The staff was extra attentive and was very willing to make my food anyway I asked. I will continue coming here when I am in the area. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Don’t forget to try the barbacoa.

I live in downtown Bham and was really wanting some Enchiladas. I decided to order to-go, the server was very kind and got me some water and chips/salsa while I waited. Enchiladas were delicious, and beans/rice were not over cooked and had plenty of flavor. Will be returning!

Good gracious, good authentic Mexican! If you are out in Bellingham, I have to recommend stopping here for enchiladas and horchata. The spinach burrito for vegetarians was splendid! Not only are the tortillas and salsas fresh, the prices are very reasonable(about 8⁄9 a person.) Hit the spot. I do recommend getting your order in as soon as you sit because the waitstaff was working hard, but ultimately were short staffed and you may end up waiting for your food or tab longer than expected. Always good to be prepared!

Food was terrible. Seriously disappointed. Craving Mexican and this was just like microwave fast food. No flavor!!! Also, staff was forgetful. Restaurant was full(no one waiting) but we never got extra water, didn’t get silverware with our meals and I never got my tortillas. I was really disappointed. Also, our tummys were pretty upset for the rest of the night. Food came out of the kitchen very quickly & it was vegetarian friendly. Just not my kind of Mexican(more bad-Azteca than taco truck) + terrible service.

Craving a traditional Mexican breakfast, specifically huevos rancheros, we stumbled on this gem during our last day in Bellingham. Not only were there at least 12 delicious varieties of Mexican breakfast items to chose from, including my beloved eggs on tortillas smothered in ranchero sauce with retried beans and rice, but everything is A+ authentic! A little known fact is that breakfast is available all day in addition to traditional Mexican cuisine fare. Tortillas are cooked fresh from scratch– the corn were incredible. They also make chile rellenos. Everything here is fresh and healthy!

Carne asada excellent, loved the grilled jalapeño and scallions! Generous portions. My son had the tostada plate and reported«it was amazing». Worthy of a visit, super-fast service too!

Absolutely the best. I get spicy pork tacos here once or twice a week. Fresh tortillas, onions and cilantro. Straight to the point and delicious. And the staff is so friendly, and almost always remembers my order. The best spot in Bellingham!

There isn’t exactly a waiting area. We were standing in a tiny space right next to the door the entire time. It made entering and exiting extremely difficult. If you’re planning on having dinner here on a busy night, definitely come early in the afternoon to beat the crowd. We came in on Cinco De Mayo, pretty busy day, so I can understand why the service wasn’t exactly up to par. There were two people before us that had told the hostess they were okay with sitting outside, so naturally, we had assumed we were going to be seated next. When a table opened up, the hostess then went outside to call them in for seating inside, after they had JUST said they were okay with sitting outside. Not exactly the most organized. Though our server was the absolute sweetest. Other than that, the food, overall, was great. Very generous portions for a reasonable price. Wasn’t too long of a wait. The margaritas were just ‘okay’ though.

Stop by on our way to BC and had to make another stop! Lunch was our first experience — awesome! Breakfast today — the chorizo with eggs is yummy! Machacha also a great choice! Can’t say enough — friendly staff/owners! Tortillas are freshly made to order — wow! Brings back many great memories! Gracias! Until next time!

Great little hole in the wall restaurant. I enjoyed their chicken soup along with the free chips and salsa. My friend enjoyed her enchilada. Service is ok.

What a great finds my Bellingham Unilocal family. They did everything right the tamales were fantastic they flavor the masa, they offer you a variety of meats now it was my mistake that I didn’t read the menu fully before I ordered because I saw that they had cheek tongue and other cuts of meat that I would definitely love to have a enchilada 2 made with. They make their own flour tortillas by hand which your quality places will do that I had 2 enchiladas with a tamale on the side did 1 red 1 green or red sauce fantastic so all of their dishes we’ve got to try so far have loads of flavor
