I stumbled onto the existence of The Confluence Fly Shop while exploring the waterfront area down along Roeder Avenue.
Walked in, it’s fairly small as fly shops go, but they had a good selection of flies (dry flies, nymphs, streamers, and even a few saltwater fiies), plus a variety of fly tying materials for those who want to tie their own. They also carried a good basic selection of fly fishing accessories.
They did not carry much in the way of fly rods and waders.
I talked to the two young guys running the shop and got some good information on fly fishing for my next trip out to the Bellingham area. They can also recommend some guide services if you are interested.
