Excellent breakfast. Husband said it was the best salmon he has ever had. Daughter is vegan and her sandwich was amazing. Orange French toast was great!

Amazing northwest Benedict! Beautiful fruit plate. Great service too — coffee cups were constantly kept full even for the Saturday morning rush. Will definitely be back.

Where to start, the amazing friendly staff, the farm to table ingredients, great lunch and enormous breakfast menu with all the right twists. For me I was done looking for a regular breakfast restaurant when I saw the kids at heart menu! Perfect sized servings of my favorites from their breakfast menu. I’ve been eating here for about 10 years and the consistency of the service and quality of food is unprecedented for this area. Whatever you see on the menu that catches your eye will be amazing and since they’ve expanded there’s even more seating. Also notice the advertised slow service sign when you come in, this kitchen will not rush or sacrifice the quality of what they serve at any time no matter how busy. So if you’re the a$$hole trying to rush the waitress for your food, just keep on looking for another restaurant!

I keep hearing so many great things about this place and finally tried it for the first time. I really enjoy having a mimosa or bloody mary with brunch, but their fresh brewed drip coffee did not disappoint. My partner got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were dense and the gravy was the perfect amount of sausage. It was a tasty dish. I went with the servers recommendation of the Hopple Popple. Holy moly that was a great dish. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and there was a great amount of all ingredients. I substituted the rosemary sour dough and it made great little makeshift sandwiches. The diner atmosphere is very welcoming and quaint. The servers could be a bit more personable, but they do seem really busy. I will for sure be back!

Had an awesome breakfast here this morning. The California frittata is to die for and the rosemary toast is perfection. I also cannot say enough nice things about our waitress. Erin was great, it was pretty busy and she was holding it down on her own and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

I avoided this place because I didn’t need another breakfast place to like, and it’s always busy! Pros? More seating that it seems Attached to union coffee, num! Northwest Benny was filling and not too salty Comfort food! Cons? Potatoes were kinda lame… I’m a stickler for some really good breakfast potatoes

Good service, sat at the counter to watch the cook. First time there for me. My order was a basic test for the management’s efforts. The cook was very busy. My meal was set in front of me and I was shocked at burnt grilled red potatoes. Not just well done. charred! My over easy eggs were so under cooked they were room temp. Two skinny pieces of very loose bacon and two huge slices of toast that had been brushed with something that was supposed to be butter. The utensils are unusual and too large. I have never written a review before, but after reading all of the 4 and 5 stars I just had to share my only experience there. I have been in hospitality food service business for over 45 years, I know how to evaluate. Secret shopping.

The brunch choices here in bellingham are unexpectedly abundant. with many different restaurants to choose from, we decided on daisy café, a small café in downtown bellingham that had delicious food and great prices. eggs benedict with a side of potatoes for only around $ 11, YESPLEASE. also, the french toast was delicious and went perfect with the savoury items on the plate.

This place is for breakfast and lunch. We had the breakfast menu, my husband ordered the Benedict and I ordered 3 pancakes 5.5 $ and added 2 eggs and bacon for 3.5 $. The coffee was good. The girls were so sweet. It’s a nice place to have a breakfast, next time I’m gonna try their lunch menu.

If you ever have a hankering for a stick-to-your-ribs breakfast downtown, the quaint Daisy Café fits the bill. They also serve lunch items, but I love their breakfast menu too much to ever deviate. You can get both until they close at 2:30 pm. My favorites include the California Firttata which is an Italian version of a veggie omlette or crustless quiche and the Great Northwest Eggs Benedict with salmon. Come hungry because these dishes usually come with a side of potatoes and toast. Every dish is garnished with a slice of juicy orange. It’s kind of their signature statement. Lastly, when the bill arrives, it is always accompanied by a roll of sweetTARTS. I guess that is to sweeten the deal and take the sting out of paying over $ 10 per plate. Truthfully, I never mind paying this price for well-presented and tasty, quality ingredients, especially when there is so much of it that you need one of their eco-friendly, take home boxes for the leftovers. Remember to bring quarters for plentiful street parking during the week. Parking is free on the weekends, but much more difficult to find since everyone loves to come here for brunch.

Breakfast was pretty good and fresh — we sat outside, which was not great. It could use some pots or fun colored table clothes.(just my opinion)

Solid 3.5 stars. Strong, refillable coffee. Seriously the best drip coffee I’ve had in a while. Breakfast was a bit on the greasy side, but flavour was good even though some items were saltier than others. The egg on the benedict was cooked perfectly so when you broke it, it was like a yolk lava running down the mountain of meat and bread. Beautiful. Tear-worthy. Friendly service. Did I say great coffee?

Definitely my favorite place in Bellingham for breakfast. Veggie omelette is tdf, the cinnamon French toast on challa bread from breadfarm is also the best. So yum! Open kitchen and the cooks are always smiling :)

Yummy quesadillas, friendly service, and the best chai I’ve had in the Northwest so far. An excellent down-home breakfast place.

Very cozy café! Right in the heart of downtown area, it has a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and quick to seat us. The food was severed pretty quick for being a busy Saturday morning. The food was very fresh and had the home cooking feel without the grease! I highly recommend this place. If I have any complaint it would be that it gets very loud. Otherwise enjoy a great little café!

Pretty standard breakfast fare in a cute little space in downtown Bham. I’ve had both good and just ok meals at The Daisy Café, but I do love ambiance. The service is always friendly and accommodating given the usual wait to be seated. Having an espresso machine in house saves me an extra coffee trip in the morning — major plus! I enjoy the eggs benedict, which you can have with your choice smoked salmon or ham. They also have your typical egg+protein+toast breakfasts and a whole page on their menu with choices of three egg omelets and frittatas in the $ 8 – 10 price range. The pancakes are definitely my favorite thing I’ve tried. I wouldn’t say they use any special ingredients, but they’re consistently good! On my most recent trip I had a very skimpy portion of roasted potatoes served with my eggs benedict. It wasn’t worth fussing about, but noticeable nonetheless.

Cute place — not very large so there’s limited seating but the service is very good and so is the food! Had a Cuban sandwich which was pretty good considering this is Bellingham and not exactly Miami or Queens, NY. Love that they bring you a roll of smarties with the bill — nice touch.

Daisy Café is exactly what I was expecting out of Bellingham — a traditional diner style café where you seat yourself and receive beige mugs full of coffee that heat you to your core. However, the food was just okay. The service was just okay. My boyfriend recommended the smoked salmon omelette(since I’m such a huge seafood fan) and I was a little disappointed with how much salmon was actually in the omelette. I had to cut away nearly half of the omelette before I finally started in on the good stuff. That said, when I finally got there, it was pretty good. Very decadent and rich with the cream cheese, and the dill adds a nice touch. Also, I’m not a huge fan of potatoes that aren’t crispy, so I didn’t feel too strongly about those either. There’s limited seating, it’s a tiny place. We got stuck in a tiny two seater by the door on a very cold morning, so every time someone came in or went out(usually opening the door all the way to my pain), I was hit with a wall of chilly. We were lucky enough to move tables after about 20 minutes at least. Mostly meh, but I’d probably give it another try and order something else.
