I was at your restaurant on June 28th2016 between 4 pm and 6 pm The food at the restaurant was fair and okay. The staff service — waiters and servers was nice and friendly. The only issue was the Manager/Supervisor(lady cashier) responsible for the seating of clients who was un friendly, un approachable SARCASTIC and EAGLEEYED by watching individual clients minutely and told us that we must finish what we took to eat and should not waste the food. I found that statement very rude insulting and disgusting from a restaurateur. I would suggest to the owner(s) to replace this individual if you expect your business to flourish. This PERSON or Employee brings bad publicity to your business that would eventually lead to the downfall of your . If she is part of the ownership, I suggest for her to be removed from the site. She is bad for the business. This is only my suggestion. It’s your call. BOBBIE

I’ve always had good experiences here. I like shrimp and there are a few varieties available. Clams are good too. We usually come with a large group and everyone is satisfied. Everything is pretty fresh and the fruit is a nice ending to the meal. For $ 14.95, it’s a good deal. Also, service has always been friendly and efficient. Everything has been on point so no complaints. :)

For the price for dinner and selection which you will not get to in one visit, it’s pretty darn good. Sorry no pics, just look the current ones that people has already posted.

Good value if you are hungry and many types of shrimp dishes. The food here isn’t the highest quality but the service is decent. The décor is a little outdated.

Again, another Asian buffet in Bellingham with lukewarm food, do they do health inspection here? On plus side food was well prepared and flavorful

Horrible customer service. Not to mention I paid 15 dollars for barely any crab that I had to fight over. They wouldn’t give my husband a refill on his drink because I had a sip of it. It says FREEREFILLS! That’s false advertising! I will not be going back.

The food at this buffet does not even measure up to food court quality. There’s lots to choose from but it’s mediocre at best. Cleanliness apparently is not a priority and we were shocked by a cockroach near the salad bar. The staff are diligent and efficient but beware the rude dragon lady at the front desk. Definitely would not recommend this place.

If you want to destroy yourself on good food court type food, this is the place for you. Parking is available in the lot around the building. One thing I really enjoy about these types of buffets is that they’re not limited to just 1 ethnicity. In other words, the food is all sorts of Asian, and then some. Sushi bar? Check. Roast beef? Check. Desserts, noodles, fried chicken, crab, salad? Check, check, check, check, check. The food is of decent quality, but the quantity is where this place shines. Special mention to their rib section. Instead of having individual bones, the tray contained what was basically 2 full solid racks, or basically 1 entire pig. I was ready to cry. See photo. I also don’t know where they get their salmon — the giant solid fillet was easily over 20 cm wide and 40 cm long. I was tempted to take the whole thing and eat it like a pizza. Everything else is huge here. I had a great time hacking a baseball-sized amount of roast beef onto my plate. Yes, they let you cut your own pieces. Be sure to make room for the dessert as well — the fruits are pretty fresh, and there is an ice cream machine(anyone remember King’s Table from back in tha day?). To drive home the fact that this place is Asian, they even give fortune cookies at the end. After trying the competition(I’ve heard Super gives this place a run for its money), I have no problems coming back to destroy myself yet again. Recommended.

Just wanted to warn you if you do go to wonderful buffet be careful if something goes wrong and you have a poisoning from them they talk to you and treat you stupid. And they tell you you have to go to the doctors and have a detailed report printed out so they can see it and you have to have. They also want the exact day time and your receipt. This is the first restaurant that I have ever ever dealt with this so be very very careful the day that I did go there they had an ambulance and three people were throwing up in the bathroom.

So its your average buffet. There wasn’t anything really that put it above any other buffet that I have been too. Most of the food was pretty decent. We did get there about 7:30pm on a Tuesday so some of the food tasted kinda old but it was expected. They do have a wide variety of food which was nice. The service was great! They cleared our plates as soon as we were done. I never had to ask for a refill; if they noticed my drink was getting low they would come and ask if I wanted another one. I was very impressed by the wait staff! Prices were very reasonable, most of the food was decent and the service was outstanding. So I think we will be back, but not too soon. We ate way too much!

Had the $ 9.50 lunch buffet A good variety, not everything tasted good. There is a wide selections even during lunch, so just eat what you can hold down.

The food here is disgusting. A few Canadians here on Unilocal have mentioned you can get a lot of food here for cheap, but it’s like eating week old food and you can’t take it home. I’m not one to waste $ 15 so I forced my self to eat the nasty stuff they call food. I swear the roast beef was like leather. I projectile vomited all over my bathroom when I got home.

If you are a big eater and don’t want to pay a fortune then Wonderful might be for you. This place offers mainly Chinese and Japanese dishes. For 14 $ on weekends all day, you can eat until you pass out. Food ranges from salad bar, soups, gyozas, breads, roast beef, seafood items, vegetables, specialty dishes, breaded shrimp, fried frog legs(yep), sushi bar, dessert like pastries & fruits, ice-cream, jello etc. Some of my favorite are: fried prawns, oyster motoyaki, clams, different kinds of soups(egg drop, fish ball, wonton and hot & sour), some of the sushi rolls, fried wings, coconut mayo prawns just to name a few. Of course you can’t expect a buffet place to have top quality, but for 14 $ this place isn’t bad(and no I have never gotten food poisoning here). On weekdays it is $ 9.25 but you get less seafood like minus the crab etc. Dont expect this place to be fancy looking, but it is presentable and service is average. Plenty of parking available at restaurant.

A U.S. road trip isn’t complete without stopping to at least one buffet. This place is cheap, I’m talking $ 14USD for an unlimited amount of the following highlight items: soft shell crab, sushi, clams, shrimp, and their hot & sour soup is awesome. It’s a Chinese buffet with some western items(salad bar, prime rib, garlic bread, etc.) This place is greasy as hell and you know what you’re signing up for when you’re doing a cheap buffet. Expectations are accurate! The best of the worst buffets in Bellingham in my opinion. ;) Warning: some people are mad savages when it comes to the soft shell crab. Whenever they refill it, people go nuts and try and snag it all at one go. Get those gloves ready. ;)

The hot food and selection is good but… The sushi :-(and I’m not comparing it to a regular sushi places sushi. I’m comparing it to other Asian buffets that serves sushi that I have been to in Nevada and California. This place has the most unbalanced ingredient portions. Most of all too much rice. Here a California roll should be called a Southern California roll, because you’re not getting the whole serving. And the fact that there’s a tip jar at the sushi station, I hope it goes towards sushi lessons. I have eaten here 3 times and the sushi drives me up a wall. Each time I have left I didn’t feel like I got my sushi fix like I have at other Asian buffets.

Simply unpalatable. We went here a few times on the suggestions of some acquaintances. Suffice to say we never listened to them again. The first time we went the food was mediocre at best. Service was the same. It took a while to refill our drinks. Staff chit chatted in another area in a booth while ignoring their diners. Staff was never pleasant, food never looked fresh or tasty. The roast beef or whatever you want to call it was horribly dry and you had to cut it yourself with a large butter knife. I don’t believe this establishment practices food safety. It just looks and feels dirty. I am not sure what kind of food and healthy standards there are in Bellingham, but I have to question this place. Any how, we thought we would visit this place again because it’s cheap and thinking it was a one off. Well, nope. It was worse the next time. Among the usual issues above, they stopped replenishing the food about 60 minutes before closing and the food looked even worse than before. However, guests continued to devour the food like there was no tomorrow. Coming from Vancouver where we have the best Oriental and Asian cuisine around with different quality standards, this is the worst chinese buffet we have been to. I believe if this buffet was in Vancouver or Richmond, it would be shut down. It’s that bad in our opinion. I am very baffled how some Vancouverites patronize this place. Maybe because they serve cheap seafood? Or maybe they don’t leave negative comments, Perhaps this place was good a long time ago, perhaps not. I dunno. But right now, It’s definitely not worth revisiting again. We’d rather go the OCB in the mall or pick up a pizza, hot dog at the big box store down the lane.

This is my current favourite Asian buffet. My husband and I come here for lunch when we do our cross border shopping. For the price they have a really good variety of foods, my favourites have to be the white fish, fried noodles, variety of sushi and their chinese doughnuts are so addictive. I’m pretty sure why us Canadians like this place so much is the fact that any buffet this cheap in Canada means bad quality, old stale food or a poor selection of food mixed with bad service, this place is a nice surprise.

We don’t mind coming here for a meal. On a Saturday night for $ 13.50 person, it is cheaper than mall food after a long day of shopping. They have a large selection of hot items that is constantly changing. Sushi station with many types of sushi and rolls. We really enjoy the large oyster motoyaki, and clams with ginger onion wine sauce, lots of cold crab legs for you to pick through, mussels, salmon, 3 different ways for cooked shrimp, a roast, calamari, chicken, duck, lots of veggies. Huge salad bars and desserts with fresh fruits. Soda(soft drinks) and juices are bottomless for $ 1.25 The restaurant is convenient with a huge parking lot and large inside so groups can be accommodated easily. The servers will refill your water, tea(free) and take away your plates constantly. The customers are constant but you don’t have to wait long to be seated.

When it comes to Chinese/asian buffets I have a very low expectation. If they have a good noodle selection and maybe some good standard protein with some decent dessert I can usually get some money’s worth. This place, let me tell you. It highly surpasses any of the cheap chinese buffets I have ever been to. Great selections of food, veggie/protein combos like chicken and broccoli, green beans, steamed garlic shrimp, chicken teriyaki, baked salmon, gyoza and their Honey walnut shrimp! To.die.for. Their food was very well kept, appeared fresh and refilled frequently, it didnt look like it was sitting there untouched for hours. Lots of labels so you know exactly what youre getting. A generous salad bar area with lots of choices from your standard house salad with croutons, to a potato salad and even a sesame octopus salad. They have sushi too, and given I’m from Vancouver I am a sushi snob especially a place like this but it was actually really good and its made right in front of you with the sushi chef rolling the rolls right there. The dessert was good too, lots of fruits cakes and such plus a soft serve ice cream dispenser. They had crab legs when I went but the lady told me it was bevause it was the weekend. The place itself can house a lot of people so good for big groups or parties. It was very clean and service was friendly and fast, they took our plates away in a timely fashion and refilled our waters if it ever reached half way empty. The price decent as well, on a Saturday for lunch we paid $ 12.95 each and given it was all you can eat with lots of seafood, roasted duck and sushi it was well worth it. The lady had told me dinner and weekends usually offered more seafood so the price was a little higher. Weekdays is normally $ 8.99. Must come back, great little find before a grocery trip to Bellis fair.
