Applebee’s

This is a decent Applebee’s. The food is fresh and the car side service is great. Every restaurant chain should have one.
Applebee’s, as a whole, has weird food. I don’t know how to explain it otherwise. The food combinations are weird and I wonder sometimes if everything is in a little frozen «boil-​in-​bag» and then boiled in water and served (people who are older will remember when food was sold that way).
My first visit to Applebee’s was at the one in Hicksville and it was just OK. I had a strange meal, but the appetizer was good. My second visit to Applebee’s was 10 years ago, and it was the one in Melville and the food was not fresh and gave me food poisoning. So, I never ate at Applebee’s again…
…Until recently, that is. We tried a 2/​$ 20 takeout at Bellmore and it was pretty good. Light, not a gross amount of food, seemingly low calorie – they were one of the first restaurants who put the calorie count on their menu. I still think their food is pre-​fab, at least the portions, somehow the consistency is that of food prepared for the «space age.» Can’t beat the price, and at least it’s not the same stuff you can get everywhere else.

First of all its Applebee’s ok, we aren’t talking about Four Seasons or Le Cirque here people. Its Applebees. You know what you are in for when you walk in the door. So me and my friend Diana needed food and stat and since we both live close by we went there. We had an awesome server who of course i can’t remember her name cause im half brain dead from drinking a shit ton last night but very nice chick. We got the potstickers, the pickles, the green bean things and Miss Thing got a wrap with a salad to pretend to be all healthy and shit. Please girl, So while we inhaled the fried crap and she ate her wrap and we indulged in Bloody Mary’s cause thats what we do. She got the rabbit food aka salad wrapped up and our fat asses got dessert. I got some hot fudge shooter thing and she got some very healthy deep fried cheesecake crap with apples, wtf man apples? no one likes apples at all. So while it was good we scraped all those heinous healthy apples out and gorged. Im now home and feel my arteries clogging up and its a good night. Cheers.

Not the best Applebee’s I’ve been to.
I got here around 5:00pm on a Friday and the place was packed; luckily it was only got two so a table only took around 15 minutes but several other families had been waiting much longer than I.
My friend and I ordered a few appetizers cause we couldn’t really make up our minds on what to do…
The pot stickers — not all that good, when I received it, they were kind of hard not moist as you would expect; the sauce was ok but nothing to write home about.
Quesadilla — probably one of the few things I seem to always enjoy at Applebee’s and this time was no exception, it was alright.
Boneless «wings» — let’s face it, these are chicken tenders with a sauce over them again sort of average, if that.
All in all this Applebee’s was ok, but I feel like we were rushed in and out for food that was average at best.

One of the good Applebee’s around. Clean & friendly staff. Never that long of a wait. Has a few TVs with the games that going on. The food is always tasty. And ½ price drinks and apps after 10pm… If you are in the area and hungry, I say stop by!

Went there last week. Had the All Day Brunch Burger with unlimited fries. Was a great meal. Wife had the ribs and she enjoyed them quite a bit. Took half home. What made this a really great time was that there were six of us and one of my friends has dietary problems with certain seasonings and seeds. The server and the manager took time to explain what everything he wanted to order was made with so there would be nothing wrong. Excellent service and for caring like they did and for the fact that my food was cooked just right they get five stars.
