Went here yesterday for late lunch. Heard and read so many nice things about this diner. Ambience was great but food and dessert was just ok. Had mimosa and souvlaki and wife had quesadilla. Good food but not extraordinary. One time experience for me.

Very friendly staff. Family owned diner. The owner is very dedicated, spends most of his time here. The quality is very good as well. Not your average diner. No long waits. We always get seated immediately.

Went here for brunch with some friends and so glad we did! Walked in around 1pm on a Sunday and we were seated at a booth right away. I had chocolate chip pancakes with Nutella on top and bananas on the side. They were so good!
My friends had eggs and a created your own omelet. My friends and the waitress all put up with my annoying picture taking, because Unilocal is life.
Overall, the waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating for our orders. One of my friends is very particular in terms of what’s in his food, and likes to eat clean, and they were accommodating and happy to do so. No one rushed us out either. I’ll be back!

For a small little diner in Bellmore Village it’s pretty expectational. The only negative aspect of this restaurant were the prices for breakfast, and my waiter did not seem attentive to us. The prices are a little high, like extra for egg whites and $ 3.25 for turkey bacon but I guess the price makes up for the quality of food. Sunday’s are my re feed day so I like to have a lot of food, lol. I got the Cookies and Cream pancakes and 2 eggs, the pancakes were great could not say one bad thing about them. Also for diner eggs they seemed to be real eggs. I was very delighted with my trip to Mediterranean Diner. For a diner competing with Morning Rose Café, International Delight .5 miles away it seems to do a real good job. Again very pleased definitely recommend this place to my friends, family and will make a trip back.

I grew up in Bellmore, so I’ve been to Mediterranean Diner more times than I could ever count, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They are a quintessential Long Island diner, with a menu a mile long that they largely do very well. I never had a bad thing here, and just thinking about it brings back memories of home. A well-​recommended place for any time of day.

Mediterranean Diner is the quintessential Long Island diner. Huge menu, fair prices, and reasonable portions. The food is good, and the service is quick. The diner is conveniently located in the heart of Bellmore Village, so the diner is proximate to a theatre, bars, and shops.
I’d rate it three and a half stars.

A nice local Dinner that has a great selection food and pricing that can’t be beat. The staff is always freindly. Your wait time is sort. My family and I have been going here for many years and plan on doing for sometime to come…

We needed a good and fast place to eat before going to the movie theater donw the street. Our party of four was seated promptly and the waiter was right there asking for our drink orders. Great. By the time he came back, we were ready to place our dinner orders; primarily burgers and ruebens. The side salads were fresh and crispy, main dishes tasty and properly cooked and soft drinks were not watered down. After the movie, we came back for desserts, café au laits and an egg cream. Had a problem explaining what a café au lait is but eventually the waiter got it right. We’ll be back.

We used to go to international delight café 2 blocks away from this diner… but they were closed on Sunday! for breakfast. So we gave a try to Mediterranean diner. Service was great, food was tasty, place is alive and clean! I think it’s now our favorite in town.

I had bookmarked this place and I was on a mission. Came here on weekday around dinner time strictly for appetizers. It was empty yet awkward because you seat yourself… It took a bit for someone to get to us, but when the waiter finally arrived, he was very inviting. Ordered the waffle fries, «buffalo» wings, and the mozzarella sticks. (There was no hot sauce anywhere on or around the wings. Out of all things, the waiter asked me if I wanted them crispy and I replied «Yes hot and crispy.» Perhaps I should have said spicy?) All were good and tasted very fresh. In fact after eating this fried meal I was expecting to get sick, but miraculously I did not. 4 stars well deserved.
I will be back to try the breakfast options.

Was just walking around the area looking for a decent place to eat before seeing a movie.
Had the spinach pie with salad. They were busy and not as quick as you would expect a typical «diner» to be, but at least we still made the movie in time.

My friend and i enjoyed a hearty breakfast at this diner after an hour of hot yoga. The diner was crowded around 9:30 am but we didn’t have to wait for a table. The staff were cool and we had no complaints. We both ordered the all grand slam platter that consisted of 2 eggs, ham, bacon, sausages, 2 pancakes, 1 french toast with tea or coffee and juice for $ 14. The food didn’t take long to come out.
I enjoyed as much of my plate that I could eat. The food was very good, fulfilling and I was stuffed. They allowed us to substitute the ham with cheese on our eggs.
The bathroom was clean and I loooved their burgundy vessel sink. This is definitely a diner I would visit again.

I live in New Jersey and was doing business in the area on last friday. A coworker and I were early and wanted breakfast. Most other businesses in the area were closed but we came across this diner.
The service was excellent, the waitress was pleasant and good spirited. The food was great, I had an omelet and my coworker had an egg dish. The place was clean and friendly and worked out well for us. We will stop here before meetings in the future.

I love this diner. My family either eats here or orders take out at least 3 times a month. Their diner fare is awesome. Great breakfast and pancakes, great burgers. The salads are huge and plentiful, and their greek food is solid too. I have ordered a variety of things from the menu and all has been good, except the steak sandwich. This I was a little disappointed with the amount of meat. However, it doesn’t bother me in the least because there is so much more great things to order, I just don’t order that anymore. They fries are amazing as well. The service is always solid, and there happens to be one or two exceptional servers. Their pricing is very reasonable. Always crowded, but never a wait. This is a great go to when you don’t have a specific craving.

I have passed this place many times and never went in. My wife and I couldn’t decide on dinner one night and we came here for the first time. I’m glad we did. All of our dishes were great. My 3 year old son ate breakfast for dinner. Eggs and toast and he are everything. I had one of their burgers and it was delicious and my wife had a chicken dish that was great as well. We also got soup that tastes great.
The staff is very friendly and the service was great. The place was nice and I will become a regular. The only downside is street parking in Bedford Ave.

Great selection of big salads. This diner is unique because they regularly add items to their menu. My favorite new salad is the buffalo chicken and the always solid Greek salad with gyro meat is a staple.
