I’ve frequented Mark and Toni’s many times both before and after the renaming(formerly Brothers). I typically order their subs, which are pretty standard with what you’d expect from a sub shop, albeit at a slightly higher price. I went back for the first time today in a number of months, and was unpleasantly surprised to find the buffalo chicken sub that I had called in was in a wrap, not a sub roll. I’ve ordered this same item before and after their renaming, so I’m not sure why this time was different.

I ordered a 16″ tomato and cheese pizza in person at the counter. Oven wasn’t working, but they didn’t tell me for 30 min or so. I sat on their padded bench seat for 45 min before the pizza was ready. I should’ve moved on after 30 min, the pizza wasn’t worth it. FYI, better pizza at Stone Hearth in Belmont Center or Stella in Watertown.

Decided to try this place despite the poor reviews and that was a mistake. First, the girl who answers the phone was pretty unpleasant and snappy, Second, we ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and added red onions but they didn’t add them and still charged us. Lastly, delivery took over 1.5 hours when we were told 30 – 40. Pizza was literally cold upon arrival. First and last time trying this place.

Great atmosphere, the steak souvlaki was delicious. Full bar, clean, not pricey. Not sure why the ratings are bad. I have high quality taste and this met it.

I wish i read the reviews before i went in. Ordered a steak and cheese for 7.50 which in on the high side for watertown /belmont not that i even watch my money. Got a huge roll that was 3 times the amount of meat that was in there., ive never had a smaller steak and cheese in my life. Asked like 5 people behind the counter if this was the right amount of steak or if they made a mistake and they were like yes. Steak was decent but the owners need to do some market research in the area, fiorellos, nicks, andreas, emillios, etc. Anyhow it was a first and last time in there.

Don’t get customer service! Their electronic payment system was down, and they asked if I would run around the block and use an ATM to get cash to pay for my sandwich. When I said I wasn’t going to do that said you can pay me the next time then. I appreciated that although it made for an awkward situation.

Do yourself a favor and don’t order from their online ordering. The website doesn’t match up with if they are actually open or not and they will charge you and your food will not be delivered. For a place the offers online ordering, they certainly don’t have the technology in place to actually follow through with it.

I used to work here when it was brothers. I left about 5 years ago when I graduated college. The ingredients are all of good quality and cleanliness was something that was very important to the owner. I still go back all the time because I am a big fan of the food. The new oven and new products are great and the renovation looks awesome. The service has gone way downhill. They are not keeping up with cleaning the tables and the people are no longer overly friendly. I hope things change with the service. Overall though its a good place and I will keep going back.

First off let me say this place has great food! But the service on the other hand… Not so great. The lady answering the phone would hang up in the middle of me talking. And if you’re getting it delivered good luck. An hour and a half later I get my food COLD.

I feel awful writing bad reviews but this place just doesn’t do it for me. Have been in twice now and both times the workers behind the counter are not friendly at all– it seems more they are tired and you are bothering them– never cheery or happy to help. The pizza is usually chewy with a chunky sauce. It’s too bad because the place looks really nice with the bar in the back but I’ve never seen more then two people tops when I go in or drive by. They really need to revamp and get friendlier workers!

If you like minced pickles mixed into your tuna salad, then you will love their tuna. Me? No! I wish it had said it on the description. It tasted like the tuna had gone sour! Not for me. And the staff should become more familiar with their menu. Tuna wrap came with red onion, lettuce, tomato and cheese. I asked for no cheese but everything else. When I got home with it, no red onions!!! Darn! Also the peppers, onions and mushrooms in their cheesesteak is almost non-existent! Only what can be called crumbs of them can be seen. And can’t taste ANY. A huge disappointment. Sorry guys.

Poked in this place with low expectations and had the most delicious pizza(the zoe). Amazing cheese on a thin crust, great sauce and onions. The pizza was even great when it cooled down! Warm staff, and simple but great service. If you’re looking for a better-than-average pizza, you’ll enjoy this gem.

Very disappointed for the second time here. I had a Greek salad and the lettuce was brown. When I opened the salad dressing they gave me, it came out in a glob like a jelly mold. The bread was totally stale. Can’t really say anything good except for the chicken was fully cooked and it was close to my house. It is overpriced for the quality, or lack thereof. I paid $ 14 for a soda, brownie and a sad salad. What a waste.

Just went back for the first time since the remodel. I really like it! The new bar area was an outstanding surprise. I thought they had a good draft selection. There is a large fish tank dividing the bar area. My little one liked looking at all the colorful fish they selected for the tank. They’ve added a huge round brick oven. Love brick oven pizza, especially to just reheat a few slices like I ordered. I’ve always known this place for a quick slice at lunch or on the way into night shift, but now it feels like a nice hybrid for family dining, catching a quick bite, watching a game at the bar, and carry out. They have a large menu, but I can’t speak for anything other than the pizza. I like their pizza. I like most places pizza. I like pizza.

Not the Pizza joint I grew up eating — Brother’s Pizza!!! Bring Brother’s back please… I was so disappointed when I ordered pizza here after the name change/ownership change? I was dying to have a piece of childhood/heaven but ended up with mediocre pizza. Belmont will not be the same without Brother’s Pizza!

I usually get the pizza — the coal pizza can be good… but it can also be a hit or miss… Last time I went the food was heavier than the previous time.

I’ve had mostly good experiences here, but a few not-so-good experiences here, specifically with the subs and the service. The pizza, subs and salad are usually really good, and I like the fact that when I get take-out I can sit at the bar with a drink while I wait for my order. Also, I love the Greek salads they put together! They changed the name of the restaurant the same month that I moved to Belmont, so I was sorta confused as to why they did this, and my husband and I usually still refer to it as Brother’s. Either way, it’s a place that we’ll regularly visit and 90% of the time we love what we get!

Just awful. I stopped in to try it because it was on my way home. I ordered the«traditional gyro» and it was not even close to that. It was essentially stir fry and too much sour cream wrapped in a pita. I’m a HUGE Greek food fan, but this isn’t even close. Plus: the shop is really well designed, it’s in a convenient area, and the staff is friendly

I really want to like this restaurant, but I have had too many bad experiences. A while back when it was called Brothers, I got a salad with chicken and the chicken was raw most of the way through. I accidentally ate quite a few bites(covered with dressing, etc). I’ve also have had excellent food here(pizza, salads, etc.). Recently I went back and noticed that a few of the backs of the chairs looked soaking wet(after walking by and having my jacket rub up against them). I touched it, and it was wet with grease. I have also noticed that the people in the back often run up to the register to ring up food, and they will take your credit card and leave a large thumbprint of sauce, or whatever they have just previously touched. Between the raw chicken and the dirty surroundings, I have lost interest in going here, but will miss some of the great food I have had.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Have been here 3 times(once takeout) and have had different experiences every time. The first time I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza takeout. It was fantastic. probably the most delicious buff chicken pizza i’ve gotten anywhere. great buffalo sauce and the blue cheese was creamy and so delicious. The second time, I sat in with my sister and nephews. Got a cheese pizza. It was way too charcoaly on the bottom and the kids didnt even like it. I was shocked because the specialty pizza i got was so good. Also, it’s very cute in there but you seat yourself and order at the counter. Felt weird with such cute booths and bar to order at the counter. The third time was date night for pizza and a few drinks. Got the buff chicken pizza again since we knew it was yummy and the wings. Both were delicious. The bartender was super nice and efficient and the drinks were great. The only common thing between all three visits is that the workers there seem young, rude and short when you ask for anything. They literally don’t say anything when bringing you your food or plates/forks. Almost like you’re burdening them. And sometimes you don’t see anyone at all in the whole restaurant. It makes me not want to go back, even if i am craving that delicious buffalo chicken pizza! I’m thinking I’ll just get it takeout from now on!
