Used to be one of my favorite places but I will never recommend them again after what happened today. I ordered and about 40 minutes later I get a call from the driver who just yelled at me to come out. So I go out and there no one there. I try calling him back and it goes to voicemail. So I call the restaurant and the guy nicely says sorry let me call him. About 8 –10 minutes later the driver calls me again yelling at me that he can’t find me so I ask where he is to try and guide him and he keeps saying he on a street that sounds like mine but isn’t mine. I keep telling him he is in the wrong place and he just keeps yelling that he is there. I call the restaurant back and explain that the driver is on the wrong street but doesn’t understand what I am telling him and that I’m really tired of being yelled at. He calls the driver and after a few minutes gets back on the phone and tells me his driver is stupid and that he is going to have the driver bring the food back to the restaurant and give it to another driver to bring to me. I told him that I don’t want cold soggy food that has been cooked a long time ago and traveling who knows where. He says well then we can’t do anything for you and you are too car from us anyway. According the the app I ordered through I’m 1.5 miles from them. I explained that I order from them 1 – 2 times a week and I can’t believe that they would just dismiss a good customer and the person at the restaurant started yelling at me and cancelled the order so I hung up. 20 minutes later after the guy at restaurant cancelled my order on me, the driver that was yelling at me twice before called to say he was at my house. I refused as after the way I was treated who knows what was done to the food. Just goes to show that loyalty and tipping well gets you nowhere.

Ordered on a whim the steak caesar salad and fried wings with a side of honey mustard. Meh kind of dressing for the salad but it was edible. Honey mustard was on point with the fried wings. I’ll get the wings again, no so much the salad.

I’m a regular from the neighborhood and can recommend Thyagos but some items are much better than others. The Bentley Pizza with buffalo chicken and bacon is great and so is the chicken pesto wrap, loaded with prosciutto. Service is very good in my opinion and prices are fair(not cheap, not expensive).

All the items we’ve tried here: Philly cheesesteak, Caesar grilled chicken salad, pizza slices, have all been great. Staff looks mean but they are actually pretty nice. I plan to get wings the next time I come. Thanks Thyago’s!

Quite possibly some of the worse pizza I have ever had. I ordered a small cheese pizza and small boneless wings. The pizza had almost no sauce, and there was nothing special about cheese or crust. It was bland at best. I also did not feel like the cheese was very high quality. The boneless wings were soggy, soaked in Buffalo sauce, and the blue cheese was off. The wings could have been soggy because of the breading, however, you could tell that they were never crisp and basically just stuck frozen wings in a microwave and tossed them in sauce. Will absolutely never order from here again despite the convenience of ordering from Foodler.

Ordered delivery and the only good part was the fast delivery time. Got a steak tip dinner and the meat was bland as well as the pilaf it came with. My husband got the Italian sub and it came with one slice of capicola, one slice of salami and one slice of fatty inedible pastrami. It was more of a lettuce sub than anything else. Taking my money and lighting it on fire would have been more satisfying.

Not bad. Just average. Pleasant service, but food seems overpriced for what the quality is.

I order from here often. It is close to home and they are always friendly and accommodating. I ordered a steak pizza and chicken finger onion ring app. They were great this will always be my go to sub shop.

Watch out for this place. The food isn’t bad. But they don’t charge consistent prices. And if you question them they will tell you well we changed the prices, but their menu doesn’t reflect that. Um, that’s not okay to do especially in MA due to the LAW. Also, if you order a burger or sub and you want more than just a tomato and lettuce they sometimes sneak in extra charges, again, if you question them, they say well you asked for extra toppings. No where on their menu does it say that they charge extra if you have three instead of two things on a burger. In my case, I wanted lettuce, tomato and onion on my burger, I requested no cheese even though it was a cheeseburger on the menu. That seems pretty standard, they charged me extra and when I asked why the price was higher the man told me because you ordered a lot of stuff on the burger. I said yes., but I asked for no cheese so that saved you more. He said well, that is the price. I don’t think that is a way to treat customers.

These guys are awesome. Love the meatball sub and Italian sub and eat there at least once a week. Absolutely delicious and the customer service is tremendous!

Best pizza for delivery in Watertown by far! Also their chicken wings w/BBQ sauce are tasty and worth a try.

So when I first moved to Belmont this was my «go to» pizza and sub place… decent pizza, pretty good… not great, subs were«ok». It was your usual neighborhood take out joint. After about a year their food started to go downhill, WAY downhill. So, I switched to Belmont Pizza… which, by the way has REALLY good food. Anyway, I decided one night to give Thyago’s another shot. BIGMISTAKE. I ordered something simple… something any sub shop on the eastern seaboard could easily make. I ordered a small Italian sub, no oil, no hots. Simple, right? Not for them. I dragged myself out to pick it up because I didn’t feel like waiting 45 minutes for a sub. Got the sandwich home only to discover than my Italian sub had nothing on it but meat and cheese. WHAT? No lettuce, no tomato, no pickle, no onion… nothing. So naturally I called back to get another sub and the girl that answered told me that I should have specified that I wanted those things on my Italian sub because they don’t put that stuff on unless you specifically ask for it. WHAT??? Now, I’ve ordered many, many Italian subs in the past and they have ALWAYS come with theses toppings… am I crazy? So finally I get the replacement, get it home… by this time I’m STARVING, only to open it up, take a bite and realize that the bread is stale, there are STILL no pickles, and overall the sub leaves MUCH to be desired. Now I’m NOT a picky person, I’m really not. Just fresh bread, the toppings that r supposed to be there, and someone on the phone that knows what they’re talking about. That’s all I ask. AVOIDTHISPLACEIF U CAN! Belmont pizza is WAY better.

I just had a large number of pizzas delivered from Thyagos for my sons’ birthday party, and they were delicious. Lots of cheese, fresh sauce and non-greasy crust. Just perfect. Besides the pizza being delicious, the owner went way above and beyond. The party was on Sunday morning, so naturally, no pizza place in Belmont is open before noon. I wanted pizzas delivered to a local park at 11:15am. The owner opened early, made the pizzas, and delivered them himself! The best customer service one could ever ask for. The owner was so kind and seemed more than happy to open early on a Sunday morning to help a customer. Great pizza, exceptional service. Thyagos is now my go-to pizza place in Belmont.

Came here for sandwiches with my husband one day on a walk. The Italian wasn’t bad, but the cold cuts were not very interesting; the mortadella tasted like bologna. The eggplant parm we shared tasted greasy and bland, although the tomato sauce wasn’t bad. Overall, there’s much better food in the area.

I’m not sure what’s worse-the customer service or the food. I ordered a simple Buffalo Wings Dinner. When my food arrived, they were just plain wings-no sauce. I called back to notify them of their mistake. They asked me what I wanted them to do about it. I asked if they could simply bring buffalo sauce. They assured me they would bring some over(The house was a 2 minute drive away). So I waited 45 minutes for my sauce that never came. The result: I had to eat my already-bad wings cold. This is not the first time I have ordered with them, and the food is mediocre at best. I will not be giving them my service again.

Just an update to note that the seafood from this place has gotten, if anything, WORSE. Time was, the«fish and chips» was edible despite the overall hideousness of the«captain’s platter» thing. But the fish and chips has now plummeted to a quality level that I can describe only as ABYSMAL. As in, this fish should have been thrown into the deepest abyss in the ocean, to rest in peace forever, rather than having been served as food. It was basically hard and brown. Yes, the flesh of the fish was hard and brown. And the size of the pieces of fish has not improved, but has(like the quality) somehow gotten even WORSE. The poppers are okay. The pizza is okay. The fries are okay. The pasta is fairly gross. But the seafood is truly disgusting. Inedible. Gross. Nasty. Don’t order that stuff from Thyago’s. If you get that desperate, try foraging around in the woods for roots and grubs before you order any seafood from this place. Even if your foraging is limited to the local dumpsters, I have no doubt that with a little ingenuity, you could prepare a repast far more appetizing(and probably less likely to cause digestive distress) than any form of seafood produced at this restaurant.

I actually think this is some of the best pizza you can get delivered in the Belmont/Watertown area. Hmm. People have different tastes, I guess. Revamped menu has more sides(steak fries! Yay!) and we’ve always been pleased with quantity & quality of the appetizers. Chicken parm described by my fiancé as «stuffed fat» and«worthy» but«could use more cheese.» Updated… a visiting friend said«thank you for putting food in mah belly, and I’m not trying to be ungrateful, but this place wouldn’t last FIVEMINNUTES in Dorchester.» I have to admit I am kinda in agreement of late. They used to let you do the 2 cheese pizzas for $ 13.99 coupon and pay separately for toppings, but no more :(

I’ve always found Thyago’s Pizza to be utterly mediocre, and I only ordered it because Café Fiorella has some pretty ridiculous hours on Saturdays. Plus, Thyago’s is literally down the street and around the corner. Convenience over taste, I don’t give a turd. The pizza is cheap, so whatever. Except come last Saturday night, when my family is visiting from New York. I call around 9:40 to make an order for two large cheese pizzas. Thyago’s closes at 10, and it takes about 10 minutes to make the pizzas. Not a problem, right? FUCKNO, KIDS. Whatever lazy shit was working there told me that the ovens were closed and shut off. Uh, what? I was pretty fucking livid. If your business hours listed on the menu state that you’re open till 10PM, YOUSTAYOPENUNTIL10PM. Needless to say, I ordered from Theo’s across the street, whose pizza was not only cheaper, but they had no issues cooking our pizzas(the last ones ordered for the night, god bless their non-American hearts), they offered us cups for the 2-liter of soda we bought. Meanwhile, as we walk out the door of Theo’s, the guys at Thyago’s are gone. That’s right, it’s 9:59 and the lights are fucking OUT. Thyago’s, every time I walk by you on my way to Angelato, I stick a hand under my taint and wipe it on your window. Once you get some work ethic, maybe I’ll reconsider your placement on my shit list.
