I had over salted fried chicken steak and tasteless mashed potatoes, canned green beans. My husband ordered 10 oz Steak and it came out way to dry. We will not come back. Such a waste of money.

Last night, for my mom’s birthday, was a legendarily bad experience. Our server couldn’t name any Mexican beers until he settled on «Double Ekkis»… and then brought us three shots of whiskey instead of the tequila we ordered.(he also couldn’t name any tequilas they carried). This was unfortunate and awkward because we all had the ceremonial lime and salt garnishes he’d brought us already. These taste awful with whiskey. And then he still charged us for one of the shots. Probably the one my date didn’t finish because she was grossed out by it. The server had a dopey, barely lingual, deer in headlights look of a first-night server on a busy Friday night. Not an unlikely estimation, really, but unfortunate for the customers in his section. Let’s see, what else? Our very overpriced, very basic fried food appetizer took a half hour or more to come out. Oh, and they have Packers jerseys on the wall in «Chiefs Kingdom.» And it’s in Belton. And two racist a-holes I went to high school with were just randomly hanging out here at the bar like it was the local hit spot. I hate to say this as a big proponent of local business, but I’d rather go to one of the bland, awful chains on 58. Not likely to return, unless it’s at the insistence of someone’s mom on their birthday.

I don’t just like this place because it’s close to home, I like it because it’s a decent place. F&J’s is clean, roomy and inviting. The wife and I had chicken nachos and drinks for lunch. We could have easily fed four people with the portion. There are plenty of T.V.‘s for watching your favorite sporting event. Plenty of AC also makes F&J’s a comfortable hang. Check this place out if you are in the Southland.

When you first drive up, it looks like an unremarkable place, however, it’s pretty nice inside, sports bar, and lots of seating. The wait staff is very attentive, nice, and good looking. There is always sports on the TV, go figure, it’s a sports bar. The food is good, served hot, and the beer is cold. It attracts a nice group of people, all ages, and the all seem to be nice people. I am from out of town, so this has become a regular spot for me.

Just had my very first tenderloin. I was so disappointed. This was almost inedible because it was way too salty.

Only been here for drinks but had a pretty good time. DJ was good but drew an older crowed(40s and older) prices were good.

Went in here due to convenience of being next to our hotel. WOW!!! Am I ever glad we did. The food was awesome. The wait staff was fantastic. I was amazed at the amount of food on my plate when she sat it down. I will definitely be back every time I have to travel to KC. I will recommend this place to everyone who asks about a place to eat… Absolutely a great place!!!

Awful. Loud. White. Terrible service. Screwed up a Blue Moon. There must be better somewhere.

Food was pretty good here and the place is very nice. But. Service is absolutely horrible. Waitress nice enough but way too slow. Another customer got a drink dumped on him. And I watched another table of customers that had to constantly go to the bar to get service. Will not return here.

I have ate here several times most of the time I get the pork tenderloin sandwich with curly fries with extra pickles. I have also had the chicken fried chicken, that was good as well. They have a full bar with tv’s all around. The restaurant is divided into two separate sections, the bar area and a dining area away from the bar. I believe their hours of operation change during the football season but im not 100% sure. Meals are moderately priced, my tenderloin sandwich with fries was around 9 $. Give the place a try, they dont make tiny thin tenderloins.

Worst sports bar ever. Plenty of TV’s but on the first night NFL regular season football they decided to have a loud crappy karaōke for everyone to listen too instead of the football game. Yes, that’s right, instead of football at the sports bar they had karaōke.

This is basically the ONLY hang/decent bar in Raymore. but the food is not good, the waitress’s aren’t the best, and the bartenders are drunks. I only go here when I am in town to see my friends but that is it. It can get very crammed so get there early.

Now that Belton is finally non-smoking, we have started coming here to eat. The food is good, we haven’t anything bad yet. Nothing spectacular that I crave, but my plate is empty when it goes back to the kitchen. The staff is always friendly with us and no long wait to get our stuff.

Walked in to what I thought was going to be a bunched of pissed off Chiefs fans after they had just lost 6 – 9. It was a raucous crowd with other fans watching games on the about 10 different TVs. We had a good time. The pork tenderloin sandwich is must order. Grilled or fried you can not go wrong.

I have been to Frankie and Johnny’s a fair amount and I love the food and the staff!!! I have eaten about all of the sandwiches between my husband and myself… and we both they are unbeatable! I love the onion rings too… Yummy. The tenderloin in wonderful and gigantic… my husband and I are neither one slouches and we can split one and be happy… they are hand made in house… My daughter loves the grilled chicken sandwich and a bunch of the people she works will drive there for lunch… you can call ahead with your order and they will have it waiting if you are short on time for lunch… Believe me when I say you can NEVER go wrong with Frankie & Johnny’s!!!

I have been here several times, mostly for drinks and appetizers. Recently I went in on a Tuesday night for dinner, it was very busy because it was taco night. I soon found out why the tacos were great no scrimpy fillings loaded with meat sour cream and salsa on the side and all you can eat. The staff was friendly and prompt our waitress was always checking back with us to see if we needed anything. The only drawback is smoking in the bar area but if you sit at the tables in the side room its not too bad. There are also great specials almost every night on food.

I went to a groom’s(rehearsal) dinner here and I wasn’t sure what I was going to think since I have never been here before. At 7 pm the place was already crowded and it was a challenge to find a good parking spot in the spacious lot. The atmosphere is typical for a bar and smoking is allowed after 9 pm. The staff accommodated the large group by adding a table. Our beverages were served and refilled at a good pace. What I really want to rave about is the food. I will be back for the food again and will want to try out lunch for the atmosphere. Our party was given a choice of a club sandwich, fish and chips, or a tenderloin sandwich. All the food looked wonderful and those who had the club and tenderloin said they were really good. The tenderloin sandwich was so huge that the person could not eat it all, it was large enough for two people. I had the fish and chips. The fish was huge, battered to perfection and the crust was crisp but not greasy. It was the best fried fish I have had in a long time and put many of the standard places people go for fish to shame. I also thought that the home made potato chips were awesome. They were crisp and thick and just like kettle chips, only better in that they were not overly salty. It was a terrific meal, and I would recommend this place for a great meal. One does not expect bar food to be this good. The food could stand alone from the bar. There were TVs through the bar and folks were watching the Royal play, but that did not distract from us visiting with our group and enjoying food. Frankie and Johnny’s is not your typical bar. I will be back!

Pretty big bar. I only have eaten the Chicken quesadillas, which were very good. I have had drinks here twice, and they are moderately priced. They have the perfect Black & Tan though. Service is attentive and friendly. Nice and clean. Smoking after 9pm though.

This is a relative newcomer to Belton. This bar was much bigger, and much nicer, than I expected it to be. You’d never guess from glancing around inside that it used to be a bowling alley. However the clean and classy appearance didn’t translate to expensive drinks, and our bartender was very friendly and attentive. We had a good time and hung out longer than our visits on a bar tour typically last. The beer was served very cold — so cold in fact that it was hurting our bartender’s hands. I actually had to let it warm up slightly as it was hurting my teeth too.
