Just had the boneless wings, amazing. Perfect moist chicken, with perfectly don’t batter. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definately come back, maybe to try the eat as much as you can wings.

Stopped by here a few weeks ago after reading reviews on Unilocal. The customer service was great! The salad bar was to die for, PLUS kids 8 and under eat free with an adult combo meal. The only thing I will say negative about this place is the the outside of the chicken(breading) was pretty flavorless. Other than that, it was great. It was clean, and decorated with license plates and other things from all over the US.

We tried it today and we should have read Unilocal first. I think that $ 28.00 for lunch is outrageous for one order of strips and an small portion of chicken plus an order of okra(we each had one draft beer) Yes, the chicken was WAY overdone-the seasoning was good but still very dry. We are long time locals and will not return! I will add that the staff were very friendly and helpful plus the restaurant was clean!

I think the prices are amazing, Digging the simplicity of the menu, I love the family environment and the food is great too. Husband loves the wings, I like the boneless ones with some lemon pepper rub on them. Super yum! Kids eat free with an adult combo meal, so I always get the combo– son eats free! Can’t go wrong with that. Staff is always friendly. Helpful, and don’t get annoyed as you try to pick what sauce you want on your wings ;) Previously, I had rated this place a 4 star, and now I’m changing it to a five. We’ve become really fond of this place, especially because the staff is incredibly nice, and the food is consistently great! I love the clean salad bar, and how it’s always stocked up, the cleanliness of the place and the music! So fun. Cheap beers(Crispin on tap?! YESPLEASE!)

If only they made their own Hot wing sauce, they use franks for the hot, which is everywhere else in bend. the only difference is they they bread their wings. and very little sauce was drizzled on. Staff was nice, and seems like a great place to take the kids when your wife gone and you don’t know how to cook your own breaded hot wings :)

Chicken Bonz has potential. The staff, from the front door to the kitchen, are enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful. The décor is a modern artist interpretation of a sordid affair between a can of yellow paint and Michael Jackson’s «Thriller» video and what they did once at a Chuckie Cheese. Album covers on the wall were provided by Billy Madison. But it works. For what Chicken Bonz is, it’s fine. It is welcoming to the worker at lunch, the college student on a break, and the family with young children on a budget. Prices are pretty reasonable. The fare is largely a choice between chicken wings or chicken strips. For both, the breading is generous, and you’ll either really like it or really hate it. The quality of the meat is very good. The chicken strips are massive, but as other reviewers have noted, the sauces are very much over-the-counter ones. For some, this is a plus in that it provides a familiar, at home feel. But when I go out, I want something different. The breading is different. I like it. It’s got a spiciness that works for me. The sauces, however, I’m not so sure about. I would rather a few unique ones and have them smothered all over my wings/strips than have some familiar ones – full of corn syrup and preservatives – that I get to dip into. I’d love to see something fresh and fun, some homemade chipotle barbecue, a sweet honey glaze, a Coke or Dr. Pepper glaze, a Thai peanut sauce, a chili ranch, an orange teriyaki, or a buffalo glaze with a homemade blue chunky bleu cheese. I’d come back for that. I’m not terribly concerned about the cutlery(as others have posted), but if it becomes a big concern, CB might look into a biodegradable/compostable option – or do nothing at all. Drinks and fries are great. I don’t drink, but it looks like they have beers for a buck. I love the chicken-inspired table numbers and the paper towels at the table. For what CB is, again, this works. But something a little fresher and newer would go a long way, because while there aren’t a lot of great wings in town, there are better. C’mon CB. Like I said, you’ve got potential. I can feel it!

I love chicken bonz. They have awesome sauces and great beverages. They décor and atmosphere is great and very happy. This place is fun for all ages. The chicken taste great even if it cost a little extra. It is not the serious type of restaurant and the customer service is great.

First the entrance and the way the place is laid out is very cramped. The wings were at best ok nothing to write home about the best I had were the Parmesan garlic. The strips my wife had were very dry and old.

Meh, big deal. Fried chicken wings tossed in a variety of not overly awesome sauces. I actually prefer the wings plain with no sauce. Nothing horrible and nothing amazing. Just fried chicken wings.

The wings are decent but nothing to rave about. The salad bar had sketchy letuce. I wish they wouldn’t use styrafoam cups and disposable plates/forks etc. The place has a fun vibe.

This place is Meh. I got a combo Togo with honey bbq and hot. The hot wasn’t spicy, Honey bbq wasn’t bad but all of the wings had barely a drizzle of sauce on them, the fries weren’t salted so they tasted weird. It’s all plastic and styrofoam flatware, which seems like a lot of waste. They didn’t have any napkins for me to take with me since my food is Togo, who does that? And they don’t have wifi! The only good thing was the counter lady was very polite and helpful. Hardy’s has way better wings for the same price, so I won’t be back.

Chicken Bonz isn’t that bad. This is the second time here, first time I order the all you can eat Wings. That was very fulfilling! Excellecnt service and experience! This time I order the ½ lb Burger, so good. The fries were even better! This is definitely a great place for large groups and families. Has a great vibe, and a fun atmosphere. I would say the service this time wasn’t quite up to par. The young lady took a while to ask the gentlemen I was with, what they were ordering next for their All You Can Eat Wings. She seem to be a little more focused on conversing with her co workers. There was only two tables, our’s and another one with a farther and his daughter. That saying it wasn’t busy so there really wasn’t a excuse to take so long to check back with the next orders. Let alone to next check up on us at all. I would say this would be a great training opportunity for this young lady and even the whole staff. But once again, it was a pleasure coming here to Chicken Bonz!

It’s hard to not like a chicken strip, but this place did it. Ug. So dry it was kind of hard to understand. And the sauces were all just out of the bottle sauces(bbq, sweet chili, Frank’s, etc.) And served in a STYROFOAMBOX! My god, this place is like the shittiest chicken shack from the 70s came back as a zombie. The staff had the air of a prison work crew. The chicken at the Shell station is considerably better. 7 – 11, better. Why? Surely there’s something else you can do with your life than abuse food and encourage people to buy it. Maybe this is «chicken with attitude»? I didn’t get at all what that meant … their tagline … the only attitude this chicken had was exasperation. At being violently overcooked. And it was a poor abused shitty commercial chicken in the first place. Everything about this place makes me sad.

It’s pretty good! We took our kids for lunch and the atmosphere was great for that. We really appreciated the free kids meal and that alone will probably bring us back. Tenders are huge, wings are small. Take that into account when choosing. Staff was great too.

The tenders we had were really good and fresh. Had great customer service while ordering and they even brought a water dish out for our dog! Great patio seating; we’ll be back for sure.

The wings are good. The hot and damn hot aren’t as spicy as you would hope, but all the other flavors I’ve had are good. The staff has been friendly both times I’ve been there.

If you like Buffalo Wild Wings, you’re going to LOVE Chicken Bonz. The wings are floured and fried making it a much better tasting wing or drumstick than BWW. Great assortment of flavors. $ 1 Pabst Blue Ribbon is a bonus along with other local crafted beer. Owner is very friendly and the outdoor deck will be awesome in the spring and summer. Will definitely return!!!

Good place for chicken strips and wings. I was disappointed to see that everything is disposable… forks, knives, cups even if you’re eating in. You’d think being in Bend they would try to be more eco friendly and not serve Styrofoam… I did like that they offer a salad bar in one of their combos. but then no real plates! They give you a plastic throwaway dish to put your salad in. I thought the chicken strips would be doused in the sauce or seasoning but the sauces are served on the side. If craving chicken strips it is a good place to go, but wish they would step it up with plates, cups and silverware that isn’t disposable.
