I bought several accessories for myself and the flower girls at my wedding about 9 months ago (trying to get a head start on the little things so I wouldn’t have so much to do last minute). I tried to return several of the items today ($ 40 – 50 worth) because a few little things have changed with our outfits during that time. I brought everything back with tags on, in the bag that they’ve been sitting in this whole time. Not only was I not allowed a refund, but they wouldn’t even give me store credit. They said after 60 days there’s nothing they can do for me. i was talking about our wedding (still 9 weeks away from today) when I purchased this stuff, the lady said it’s great I’m getting a head start, she never told me about any time limit on returns or any policy of the sort. i think this is so unfair! And when I asked the woman why they don’t make people aware of the policy, especially when they share their situation at checkout she said it’s right here for everyone to see and pointed to a small sign with a bunch of tiny lettering that was hidden BEHIND another sign on the counter, like anyone would ever see that, let alone think to read it.
I’m very surprised at the lack of customer service and no exceptions, no help, there’s just nothing we will do for you, attitude. It may be $ 40 – 50 but that really helps sometimes. especially during the finak days befire a big event. Now I just have useless overly priced accessories I wouldn’t wear on any other occasion. i shouldn’t have come back after my Daughters ears became infected after being pierced here and the lack of aftercare questions they were able to answer in that situation, I had to take her to the doctor, and then a local piercing shop to get our questions answered and make her more comfortable.
Claires in the old mill cares more about their price quota then any sort of customer care or satisfaction. I’ve always been polite and always supportive because my Daughters love this store, but I’m DONE. My family and I will no longer support this business or speak kindly when asked about it.

I love this location! I have been to several Claire’s throughout the US but this is the only one that I have found that consistently has merchandise in stock. More importantly, EVERY time I go there I am greeted with a smile and the staff always checks to see if I need anything. They are always polite and take the time to help me when I need it. LOVE this store!
