I can’t believe I’ve not been here in such a long time. I’d forgotten how good it was. I was nearby and craving a burger, so I stopped into Dandy’s drive-in. Was greeted by a hostess on roller skates, who took my order and came back in less than 10 minutes with a delicious meal. I tried the recommended Dandy’s Cheeseburger, the onion rings, the tator tots and a milkshake. Pretty darn good, and you can’t beat the prices — all that for just $ 11. Give it a try and you might find a new local favorite.

This is the Gold Standard for fast food hamburgers. I always order the Double Dandy(two patties) add Swiss cheese and bacon and you are in heaven. Wish they could do real French fries, but their burger meat makes up for the meal. I have never found a better burger anywhere on this planet. Meal is reasonably priced for the area. You will not be sorry if you eat here.

Best burger in Central Oregon by a long shot! I have never ordered anything but the double grand dandy and it is truly amazing! They are not open on Sunday’s, they take cash or check only which at first really really annoyed me but the burger is that good. French fries are good and the fry sauce is amazing as well. Call it in and when you show up your food will be ready! After being annoyed about cash only, I tried Pilot butte, not bad but not dandy’s. I tried Bend Burger, awful awful buger, next I tried the new 5 guys and it was the worst burger I may have ever had. So avoid those places and just hit up the ATM and head to Dandy’s and you will be happy! Better yet maybe Dandy’s can get with the times and I will give you 6 stars !?

Best burgers in Bend. I love that they are always hot when they get to the car. The skatewaitresses are awesome and always friendly. Simple basic burgers. I wish they had longer evening hours especially during summer.

I gave this place 3 stars because the food is really good. I just don’t understand why any business does not take cards! Come on let’s enter the new century!!!

Decided to find out what the rave was about, I’m sorry but it’s 2016… An iPad to take a card is so easy to have these days… That said the rant and rave about how good this place is … Don’t fall for it. No one likes a crispy burger… So tiny for the price… Would much rather go to Bend Burger or Five Guys or even sonic rather than this place…

Wow these burgers are the bomb. The best burgers in town by far. The meat the use must be really fresh and the fries are crisp and hot. You will have to wait for 10 minutes to get your food but well worth it. The prices are old school. They do not gouge you for your food. Always tip the skate girls who earn it. And bring cash that is all they except it makes it easier to tip.

Great food, great service. They only take cash which I’m sure hinders a lot of their sales, but they are delicious! Will definitely be going back again.

Dandy’s is a great local spot where you are served by enthusiastic young women on roller skates. That alone is reason to try Dandy’s. I’ve been pretty happy with my burgers over the years, I always get the Grand Dandy and have to say that the bacon is always crisp and plentiful. That goes a long ways in my book towards greatness. They have fries, onion rings and TOTS to go with. I love tots and they do a great job making them just the way I like them, crispy. Their fry sauce is not great, but I’m not going to say no. I can always use ketchup. I’m a die hard ice cream fan and love chocolate malts. They’ve got these on the menu but to date they have always fallen short. Not very malty and not very chocolatey. It’s a drive-in. And ultimately, I don’t love eating in my car. Too hard to negotiate condiments. If you’re in the neighborhood and considering a quick burger, I’m picking this place over the fast food chains every day of the week. No comparison to places like McDonald’s etc. It’s cash only, so be prepared.

Yummiest AND cheapest burgers in town! They’ve got that old-fashioned flavor — and their fry sauce is to die for!

I love Dandy’s because you barely have to wait you’re there 2 minutes and here comes a cute girl on roller skates, and they always smiled they’re not stuck up like some places in bend. The burgers are big and juicy and taste great. If you’re not as hungry you can get a little dandy, with cheese, bacon or hell another patty if you want. The onion rings are crispy and the whole onion doesn’t come out so you’re not stuck with a shell of fried batter and fries are good, the food always hot and consistently the same you know what you’re going to get no, is it going to be good this time? I live in Lapine and I go there almost every time I’m in bend which is a lot. The small soda is really small but spend a couple more cents and get you a bigger soda cash only and get yourself some fry sauce oh and tip them girls they’re out there rain or shine

Burgers are good not great, and extremely salty even by burger standards. Also, they close at 5 on Saturday which is a complete joke.

This place is tops for what it is. And what it is, is a drive-in, with really good burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Nothing here is organic, and if it’s locally or sustainably sourced, they don’t advertise it(but I doubt it, because their prices are pretty low). So, just recognize that you are getting a burger from possibly stockyard meat, and bacon from a penned pig, and fries from GMO potatoes. That being said, this is THEBEST cheap burger in town. It’s simple, straightforward, cheese, iceberg lettuce and GMO tomatoes, with their signature burger sauce, and it’s delicious. I have dubbed Dandy’s the In-And-Out of Bend, Oregon — basically the best fast food burger you can possibly get. The milkshakes are deliciously creamy and they top them with whipped cream and a cherry. They don’t advertise the flavors, but they have yet to tell me they don’t have what I’m requesting. My friends requested something crazy like a peanut butter-Butterfinger-shake, and they had it, so ask away! Some last thoughts: The prices are impossible to beat; it’s pretty cheap. They take cash only. The rollerskating waitresses are impressive and will inspire you to break out your childhood skates.

Food is good, so is the service. I just don’t understand the choice of cash or check only, especially with the advances of technology. I would visit more often if they accepted more forms of payment.

I love this place! Probably one of my favorite burgers in Bend, so far. You can’t beat the prices, the quality is always great, and the food is freakin’ consistent!(A concept a lot of places can’t quite get down) We go here at least once a week(not gonna lie… probably more) and it’s always«mmmmmm» inducing with every bite! Your waitress on wheels will take care of everything for you. You won’t need to leave the comfort of your car. Even when it’s pouring snow, these girls just power through on roller skates and still give you service with a smile. I can’t say I’d be able to do that! Plus, they’re always on point and I’ve never had an order messed up. The fries are stellar and always fresh. Get the fry sauce. Don’t ask what it is, just do it. You’re welcome. If you’re a bacon lover like I am, the Grand Dandy will hug your soul… and maybe an artery or two. But I love it and I get it every time I go there. If the burgers weren’t so awesome, I’d knock a star for serving Pepsi instead of Coke(But that’s Bend for ya) and only accepting cash(no credit cards) But the food is well worth overlooking these issues. If you’re visiting the area, definitely check it out. :)

Burgers are great, had the bacon cheeseburger, and the price wasnt bad. The only thing is that it was a complete gut bomb, though I knew this going into it. Also they only accept cash.

We had been driving for almost 8 hours and were craving a burger, so a quick Google search led us to Dandy’s. It is similar to Sonic in that you can drive up, never get out of your car and someone on roller skates comes and takes your order, and brings you your food. The burgers are most excellent, we ordered a large order of tots(large order really honestly only fits one person), and no drinks and it was reasonably priced. I think we ended up paying approximately 13 bucks for our dinner. The burgers come with some sort of sauce on them, not sure what it is, but it was tasty and only added to the flavor of the burger. They only take cash though, no debit or credit, that is the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars. As someone who very rarely carries cash it might have stopped me from going there if it wasn’t the rare chance I did have cash on me.

Food = 3(not that bad… not that good) Price = 3(8.75 hamburger, corn dog and med drink) Experience = 4(old styled pull up joint with girls on roller skates) Not the fastest place… but, an interesting wait.
