Service was slow, and when our order did come out it was wrong. Both my wife and I had issues with our entrees that required a return trip to the kitchen. Our drinks came out after our entrees were served, and for dessert we ordered the chocolate ganache with Marion berry and whipped cream… what arrived was a tiny sliver of chocolate ganache… no whipped cream. and strawberry purée because they were out of Marion berry. Very disappointing meal.

Absolutely love this place! Great seafood at very reasonable prices. Have been here several times and have never been disappointed in the food. Service can be a bit slow during peak times so we try to sneak in early and it has paid off every time. Tip of the day, join their email club for unadvertised deals. We’ll be back… again abd again!

Went tonight to celebrate my sister and husband’s anniversary, and the service was excellent, but I can’t say that for our food. We all got the crab with shrimp, and the shrimps were tiny, burnt, and poorly shelled, and the crab was rubbery and possibly reheated or old. Well not return! If you want good seafood, pay a little more and go to Anthony ‘s in the old mill.

The place was nearly empty at 5 when we got there and we were seated right away by a pleasant hostess. Server took a few minutes to arrive but was very nice. She tried hard but was a little awkward. I had the Parmesan Halibut which was a bit rubbery and salty but edible. Rice was slightly undercooked, but salad was very fresh and tasty. Had peas in it which actually worked. Bend has many other great food options but this was an acceptable stand by. My wife had a fried seafood dish and it was very good. Lightly salted, tasty batter and decent seafood. Place was full when we left. Much quieter atmosphere than noisy bee pubs, would be good for elderly.

This is my extended family’s favorite restaurant in Bend. My first visit last fall was a nightmare! Our reservation was crossed off as someone else had the same 1st name and we sat outside with our buzzer box for 40 minutes. Confusion about who was to wait on us, slow service, and a bill before a dessert menu and no birthday treat for the 86 year old birthday girl… This time our wait was short. Jamie was our server and she was friendly and attentive. Food was a bit slow in coming but was fresh and tasty; with the exception of the coleslaw that our group did not care for; green salad was wonderful! Birthday boy got to wear a big fish hat and got not only a free desert, but a picture of himself in the hat!

The estimated wait times and lack of organization at this restaurant makes me wonder how it is still in business. This place has not maximized it’s potential output and instead limits the opportunity with poor management and over solicitation of drinks, without even utilizing half it’s open tables. I really enjoyed this place in years past but it has sadly deteriorated with age. This is a very poor experience and I am not impressed by the almost ignorant attitude of the staff. This place needs Gordon Ramsey and quick, it won’t last much longer with such a poor execution of customer experience.

Very disappointed. Came in tonight for my Dads birthday. It has been tradition for years. We have come for my birthday as well. The reason for two stars was because of the food which was alright at best. My dad always gets the hazelnut sole which has always been very good. I ordered the snow crab. There was barely any meat. The unfortunate part about our experience was our waitress. We sat ourselves in the far corner of the bar which was half empty. At first we were greeted by a different waitstaff who was pleasant. Then greeted by the bartender who was also pleasant, at first. An elderly couple sat right next to us. The bartender greeted them making it clear that she knew them personally. Our whole experience was hearing the bartender talk about her personal life and issues which was irritating because we had established that we were celebrating a birthday. It made the whole night uncomfortable and displeasing. At the end of our meal the«birthday dessert» seemed like a last minute thought to the staff. I am so unhappy about tonight. We’ve come here for so many years. Everything has gone downhill. Will be our last time here. I do not recommend eating here any longer.

Absolutely terrible! Service took forever. The only thing we wanted was 2 drinks before shopping. Took 20 minutes to even order them. I’m so irritated I can’t even tell you. Do not go here! Awful!

We had dinner here, ordered oysters on the half shell, they had a metal taste, did not finish. Ordered cocktails, asked for olives and lime, had to ask again. Ordered steam clams in lemon and garlic, waitress never told us it was served with a tomato sauce. Husband ordered large scallops, very small, with no taste. Well not return.

From the outside, looks like a 5-star dining experience, but that was not to be had! Food was reasonably good, but just took a long time(almost an hour) from the time we ordered. VERY slow service. By the time I order a beer and get it, I was half-done with my dinner. I ordered a second beer as I was finishing my dinner, only to have the waiter forget about the drink order. Also, there were some really annoying small flies everywhere — not a good sign. Not a great experience. We will skip on our next visit …

If I could give less than one, I would. In town for business and what a horrible fail. RUN away!

I’ve eaten here a few times with my elderly parents, they love the fish & chips and the fresh bread: one star. Every server has been fine, nothing spectacular, but efficient: one star. I have never eaten a meal there that I have loved. On my last visit, my grilled salmon was fishy and tasted horrible. The interior is a little worn, the menus and condiments were dirty. If you want to take some senior citizens for fish & chips, go for it. For a nice meal go somewhere else.

Very disappointed. Drove across town for a meal and drinks in the bar. When we arrived, the seats at the bar were vacant, but we were informed that we couldn’t take a seat in the bar because they were expecting a party and there weren’t sufficient staff for us to be served at the bar. Poor planning for coverage on a summer Friday night ruined our plans. Don’t know if we will go back.

1 star is to much. Oysters– we ordered 1 doz of oysters on the half shell. 10 minutes after ordering oysters, associate manager came to us & said«corporate» changed the oysters and we will be getting smaller ones along with the regular big ones. Ok, fine-we will try them. When we received our oysters, the small ones were tasteless and seriously the size of a penny. Didn’t eat those. Crab legs, the meat was green. That’s un-called for. The steak, tasteless. No flavor, no seasoning. I will not be returning, that’s for sure.

We came in with a big party for a birthday dinner at 6 pm on a Sunday night, and found ourselves in a nearly empty restaurant. I immediately started to worry that we had made a mistake and took notice of recent poor reviews. I was quite surprised though when my food was both delicious and fresh. I say this as an avid seafood eater. Perhaps management has taken notice and swung into gear and cleaned the place up? I hope that’s the case, as we likely will return and hope to have the same great experience.

I used to go here pretty often for their Herb Crusted Salmon salad which was very good. Something has changed and it’s now on a plate instead of a big bowl which means it’s sliding everywhere as you’re trying to eat it. I recently took my kids here because they can get cheeseburgers or chowder or pasta, not just seafood. They have a huge menu. Too huge, imo. It’s hard to get through. I had the shrimp and scallop skewers and they were just okay. The veggies on the skewers were burnt on the edges and not really cooked. Kind of icky to go with my nearly perfectly cooked scallops. A shining light was our server. He was so efficient and helpful. My kids asked for some specific things and he complied cheerfully. I wish I remembered his name… Maybe Christian??? At least they carry local beers.

This ia one of the worst meals and service I have ever had in Bend. drinks were ½ full, and took 20 minutes and were overpriced. vegetables were cold and I had to wait 15 minutes for a knife for my meal. I wont return.

Wow — just had one of the worst dining experiences ever! I took my mother & stepdad out for a celebration, but was terribly disappointed with our service. We waited 20 minutes to get drinks, & over an hour more for our dinner. Meanwhile, we sat with empty drink glasses for almost 30 minutes. Our waitress went AWOL, and we ended up with a new guy for the rest of the evening. After we finished, we waited another 20 minutes to get our check — which never came. We finally went to the hostess station and asked for our check. I’ve been going there for 20 years, but probably won’t ever go again. I’d go somewhere else if I were you!
