Taco Time

Worst Taco Time in Oregon. Maybe Ever!
I don’t dig on fast food often. Maybe I was spoiled by the franchise one in WA. In my former town or the one I occasionally stop at In Sandy, OR. This one is completely disgusting! We just spent $ 20 and all our food went to the garbage. To undercooked beans, to missing items, to not being what we paid for. I know someone owns this and they aren’t connected to the others. Please go to another one and change everything you’re doing. Be better than Taco Bell. I expect that. Do not waste your money here.

Caution: this Taco Time is NOT the same as a Taco Time in Washington State. Very different menu and much lower quality food. Chicken was hard and not chewable, the salad did not have the contents advertised, overall quite poor quality. If you are looking for a Taco Time like those in Washington State, this is NOT the place!

We have been out of the Northwest for almost two years. One of the things I missed was a bi monthly trip to Taco Time.
This is definitely an older store, is showing its age. But it is clean.
Took a moment for the clerk to come to the counter. I ordered my usual Beef Soft Taco meal with onions.
To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. The tortilla was quite dry so it ripping, and the meat was pretty bland. They did give me a huge portion of onions though. The Mexi-​fries did not taste seasoned.
We are just passing through Bend, so am looking forward to trying a different location.

We were traveling and stopped in Bend Oregon. The Most Horrible Food Service and Food in the World!!!
We ordered chicken taco and they charged us extra for the chicken???
The food was terrible… slow service too.
Stay away!

As an avid Taco Time fan, I drove out of my way today to get a chicken soft taco meal at the only Taco Time in Bend, OR. It was truly the WORST food (and service) I have Ever had. The tater tots were cooked in fishy tasting grease and the soft taco was not like others. The lettuce was wilted, No sour cream and a soggy tortilla. I could not finish it and had to throw it away. I WILL NEVER Eat at this establishment again. Also after specifically asking what type of salsa I wanted, it was Not included in the bag. BTW I used the drive through.

I actually think the food is pretty good. I deducted stars because they keep watering down their hot sauce. Please go back to your original recipe!

My brother-​in-​law was vacationing with us and when we were looking for lunch, he recommended Taco Time. My wife says Taco Bell (her favorite. I laughed thinking it was a Jack in the Box type taco place (deep fried). Well, to my surprise the food is pretty good for a fast food. I ordered a crispy chicken burrito & the nugget (?) potatoes w/​cheese. Worth a try!

They used to have extra-​large veggie burritos here — now they’re down to the same size other Taco Times have. Still a good deal. Unlike most Taco Times, here they include fresh tortilla chips with the order…
Their salsa bar features a tasty chopped-​tomato salsa, and there’s also jalapeño slices with sliced carrots mixed in. They’re not quite the tasty marinated carrots the real Mexi-​joints serve, but they’re still good. You do have to ask for salsa verde, and it comes in hard-​to-​open little packets.
I was a bit put off by their sign — guess they’ve had some bad experiences, but still — way to intimidate the customers. something like «All $ 20 bills will be examined and we’ll call the police if we deem you or a bill to be suspicious. Smile nice and big for the security camera.» Fair enough if the bill is fake, but if they deem you suspicious rather than the bill… What are their criteria?
They also have a rather intrusive radio, playing commercials most of the time.

This place is slow. I’ve been there twice; the first time, I went inside, and it was like I wasn’t there. Nobody came to take my order after a few minutes, so I just left. I also went through the drive through today, and after they took my order, they were a bit slow to take my money and prepare my order. The food was good though, like any other Taco Time.

WOW… Ive never had such a nasty taco in my life. Soggy, stale (it happens) and just old tasting. plus the customer service is them basically saying fuck off… not a place i recommend
