5+ Stars for the tacos! I ordered chicken and pork tacos, combo plate. These tacos were amazing, flavors kept coming. Ever eat those meals where you think about them as if they were a past love? Well, these tacos consumed my thinking more than anyone from the past… haha! I tried the enchiladas and would give those 3 stars, not much flavor. Will stick with the tacos. Their beans and rice are average. put some taco love in your beans and rice, please! … if they could combine their tacos with the beans/rice/side salad from El Sancho, I’d be in taco combo plate heaven! Staff is nice and friendly, always get a smile here; place is very clean. As a side note, I moved from Bay Area and never found tacos this tasty there. And these are better than a great taco stand I found in San Jose del Cabo that were delicious and held the crown until I ate Pihuamo’s Tacos.

Quality of the food is excellent with authentic sauces that are obviously house made, new favorite in town for Mexican food and will be coming back.

This is really great quality food. As good or better than you’d get in a sit-down restaurant. Prices are a little high for fast food, but the food quality and taste explains that. I paid $ 8 for the Burrito Linda. It was delicious, but left me hungry, and not wanting to spend $ 16 on this burrito lunch.

Probably the best burrito I’ve had in Bend. The burrito was $ 8 and had some delicious al pastor. However, it’s ‘excellent’ in the ‘excellent for a town with crap Mexican’ sense; just not quite on the same level as my favorite haunts elsewhere.

Holy WOW! I’m a taco truck aficionado… so when Bend was the destination city, I relied on Unilocal to steer me right! I’ve sampled trucks in pretty much every place I get to… in the search for the very best. This place does NOT disappoint! Due to the incredibly reasonable prices, I skipped the pedestrian tacos and drove straight into the Carne Asada Plate: This included EIGHT delicious corn tortillas, a grilled jalapeño, some delicious adobada onions, and two wafer-thin skirt steaks… all garnished with super fresca salsa, half an avocado, and radish wafers. UTTERLYSPECTACULAR! Oh, and did I forget to mention the delicious salsa verde, verde/avocado, habanero, and red sauces? Yeah… all handmade and in big bowls of icewater… The ambience? It’s pure Bend«main drag»…but not even the rattle of Ford diesel trucks and the roar of of Subarus clad with studded tires can detract from the pure goodness of this place! I’ll ABSOLUTELY make this a destination!

I am giving 5 stars but the rice and beans are only 4 stars. The meat and prices bump it up to 5 stars. Arrived to window and greeted with a pleasant hello. Boy are they fast and send you with napkins/cutlery and salsa of your choice. I am glad they are fast because it was so windy! Nice that they have covered picnic tables but until the temp gets above 70 I will be getting my orders to go! The burritos were huge! I got a regular burrito with chicken and the burrito Linda with carnitas. $ 14 for both and they were huge! The meat in both had great flavor. The Linda burrito was $ 2 more for grilled onions, pico de gallo inside and additional pico and lettuce on the side. It was actually a little bit bigger too, though I don’t know how?! I actually thought the regular burrito was just awesome without those additions. We could have just shared 1 burrito they were so big! Instead we shared a little of each and essentially had a whole burrito left! Maybe if I tried the beans and rice on the side I would have a different opinion but they both seemed a little bland. I also like my beans a little chunkier than like paste. That being said, I still devoured the burrito:) The tacos are only $ 1.75! I will be back to try those! This may be my new takeout on those nights I don’t feel like cooking. Food prices in Bend are pretty high in my opinion and I know this is a food truck so prices should be lower. I still think this place is a great go to for cheap GOOD food!

I tried many different Mexican restaurants not just in Bend, and I have to admit that by far this place is like eating in Mexico. I don’t think there is a better place to eat real Mexican food. The owners/cooks are super friendly, I ate 4 tacos of different meats and I ended ordering also a burrito. I know it could be a lot of food but it was worthy and I spent just $ 15. Probably I won’t eat for couple of days to keep enjoying the flavor of the delicious food.

I’ll keep this short and simple. I’ve been to what feels like hundreds of Mexican restaurants, extremely expensive and very cheap, but I’ve never found a more delicious burrito than I have here at Tacos Pihuamo! The pork adovada(in red sauce) and the carne asada are incredible! To get Mexican food like this from the food truck in Central Oregon of all places is quite frankly insane. Try Tacos Pihuamo, you’ll have a phenomenal meal, and you’ll probably see me there too. Treat yourself!

Ive eaten tacos in nearly every city in the Northwest. Mexico and Guatemala too. This humble taco truck in Bend Oregon is absolutely tops. The food is authentic, flavorful, fresh and the family who operates the business are some of the most kind and wonderful people you can meet. My wife and I always get tacos. They are served with lime, radish, cilantro, onions and, are served on top of small tortillas that have been warmed on the grill. Options include pork, chicken or beef of course. Our kids love the quesadillas and burritos. Pricing is exactly what you would expect for a casual taco truck. But the quality and portion sizes are above most sit down restaurants. In summer months they will sometimes offer hibiscus tea. In the winter they will prepare a corn-based hot chocolate made with a Mexican chocolate. Te Jamaica is one of my favorite summer coolers — not to be missed.

I loved their carne asada tacos and they’re only a buck and a half each… The meat is tender and the verde salsa is tangy and awesome. This is the only place I will get tacos in Redmond from now on.

This is not a racist comment but you know your tacos are gonna be good when Hispanic people are lined up too. Tacos are the yummiest here. Our whole family loves this place.

We love this place! We especially love the Tortas. The bread on these Tortas is Awesome and the avocado salsa they have is the best I have ever found. We frequent this truck often and they are always so friendly and fast. If you are in Redmond, stop by and grab a bite! Muy Bien.

Best Mexican food in bend by far. Been a regular for a while now and they are consistently awesome. Tacos are my go to. Burritos are giant. I have yet to have a single disappointing meal. Prices are really reasonable for the quality of food. I highly recommend it. Note, this is a cart so seating is outdoors.

On my quest to find that burrito is closet to what I have back home. As a California transplant in oregon, I may have just found the spot! I ordered my usual carne asada burrito and yes I roll my r’s when I say it. Ooh so yummy! Now I just need to convince them to put fries in their burrito and they’re set. Okay may something else like garlic fries so they can call it the oregon burrito. Either case. For the transplants looking for that burrito from home, this is your spot!

I feel obligated to continue the 5 star rating for this little joint. Just had a delicious Birria(a type of Mexican stew)… The meat was amazingly tender and flavorful. Wife had the enchilada … Really good. And my sons had the quesadilla. They Wolfed it down without much coercion so must’ve been good ! Will come again for sure :)

My husband and I were coming through town and hankering some food truck tacos; this place more than fit the bill. A little pricey($ 10 for three tacos with rice and beans) but very much worth it! The serving sizes are generous, and if you stay and eat in the little patio dining room, you can slather it with the delightful green sauce in bottles on the tables. And of course, as any Mexican food truck veteran will tell you, if you get a soda with your tacos, skip the coke and get a Jarrito. Will definitely come again next time we’re in town!

I miss sonoran hot dog and taqueria stands in Tucson, AZ. This is a great find, wish now I could get a Sonoran hot dog!
