Ligioso Ballet Studio

My daughter had shown an interest in taking ballet classes so I enrolled her in another school at first. She didn’t learn anything except the 1^st position after a half a year of going to the other Ballet school.
Then I decided to send my daughter to Ligioso Ballet. I was worried at first since I wasn’t allowed to watch the class like at the previous school. When it was explained to me that the teacher did not want any outside distractions I felt their reasoning was spot on since I did notice that my daughter would always try and wave at me and not pay much attention to her teacher and their instructions.
After 2 months of attending to my daughter was able to show such improvements in her technique, knowledge of the dance that I knew I made the right choice in changing her school to Ligioso Ballet.
It’s been about 2 years and my daughter continues to learn from the Ligioso Family of teachers who have shared their passion, love, and knowledge of the art of Ballet with my daughter and I am so fortunate to be able to have my daughter learn from such amazing teachers.

This is the my daughter’s third year at Ligioso Ballet, and she feels as if she’s family at ligioso ‘s. Nicole and her daughters are so sweet with the girls and very patient. The girls learn SO much in a fun environment. It’s never about the money here. Kids are kids here, no pressure to put makeups and have fake looks in performances. Highly recommended for all ages!

I am so impressed with Mrs. Ligioso and her other dance instructors. My daughter started taking ballet with Ligioso Ballet many years ago and we felt the instruction was outstanding. Now my daughter has grown up and is in college, she has participated in many college dance programs /​classes. She is so thankful she had a correct foundation in the art of ballet.

My 3 children and I only have positive experiences with Ligioso Ballet Studio. My daughter has been dancing since she was 3 and we’ve been to several dance studios in different states including studios who compete. I find the style, technique, and the quality of teaching done in this studio to be EXCELLENT! The atmosphere is very friendly, the studio very clean, welcoming, in a good location, and the classes CONDUCIVE to learning. My children (10 & 16 year old boys and a 12 year old girl) love coming to this dance studio, yes… even the boys. We have finally found a dance studio with TOP-​NOTCH technique, teaching in a FUN and relaxed environment, for a very FAIR price. The supervision, monitoring, and correction done on each child’s posture, positioning, and technique is nothing like any other studio we have attended. They focus on learning the proper quality and technique of the movements rather than rushing to finish the class on time. They truly care about the dance quality of each student and are not just thinking about the business. Of course, age, maturity, focus, passion, and attendance is very important for any child to succeed in anything that interests them. Most importantly, the students are taught to respect not only their instructors but also each other. Mrs. Ligioso and her daughters are very patient, understanding, caring, enthusiastic, and they really work hard to attain perfection in each routine that they teach. My kids, especially the boys, feel very comfortable knowing that no one will laugh or make fun of them. In short, this is an EXCEPTIONAL dance studio right here in our beloved town of Benicia.

My daughter has had such a wonderful experience at Ligioso Ballet. Mrs. Ligioso and her daughters have been nothing but positive and enthusiastic teachers. My daughter is always excited to go to dance class and has learned so much in the short time she has attended classes. We look forward to many years with Ligioso Ballet.

I started taking classes at Ligioso Ballet Studio in September. I’m a novice dancer at best and I’ve really been able to see an improvement in my technique and knowledge of the dance. The instructors are very knowledgeable and really fun to work with. I always look forward to going to class, even on bad or lazy days which is really good coming from me. The instructors give really good constructive advice to help the dancers achieve their best possible technique. I’ve taken the adult/​teen ballet classes and also a structured curriculum class and both are challenging but very fun.
I’d recommend Ligioso Ballet Studio to anyone looking for a great dance school. From what I’ve experienced, kids really love to take class here too.
