I love everything about this truck! i’ve been coming to this truck for over 10 years… i’m never disappointed my kids can eat their weight in rice here My favorite is carna asada tacos or carnitas tacos… the meat is seasoned well

GOHERE! I go to Benicia High and we come to this«taco truck»(as we call it) when we’re crazing mexican food! They have amazingly tasty burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and more! The pricing of these foods are just right too! Not too expensive, not too cheap, but just the right price. I especially love the burritos!!! The employees insode the truck seem to work hard and stay happy at the same time so I applaud them! GOHERE!

This is by far the best taco spot in Benicia, and one of my favorite local food trucks. I love this place! Great food and prices! I come here often when I’m craving a taco or burrito. The carne asada is deliciously marinated. The meat tastes buttery and rich, juicy, and somewhat charred. Their tortillas are light, tender, and flavorful. The tortillas taste like they are cooked in oil or meat drippings. Tacos come with standard toppings: onion, cilantro, and lime. The burritos are a good size for the price. There’s plenty of meats to choose from: steak, chicken, pork, fish. The truck even offers vegetarian options. I definitely recommend trying Tacos Jaliscos if you live in the area.

The tacos here are so yummy. No gristle in the meat. good, fast service. Tacos are 1.50, which is a fair price for what you get. I am one happy kitty today. I had two steak tacos and one spicy pork. both were delicious. One thing I truly love about Benicia, is the food. Almost every restaurant is locally owned. Only a few chain restaurants exist in this small city.

Update: I’ve since been back, and got the hot sauce this time. That made a difference. I’m now a big fan. I go here once a week. Glad I gave it another try. Solid taco place. The steak was very good. Chicken was ok. But the pastor didn’t really taste like much. Was disappointed in that. You can’t beat the price. And the staff is friendly. But didn’t blow me away.

This food truck is the bomb! The wifey loves their fish tacos and was our spot to grab some Lent-friendly Friday grub. I personally love their tacos and my fave meats are the carne asada and fish, though, the other meats like barbacoa are still delish. My go-to order is the super burrito and does its job in keeping me full for a good portion of the day. Absolute must-go if you want something quick. Tacos or quesadillas for a small bite, super burrito for a good hearty meal without feeling overly stuffed.

was wanting a Burrito and the usual places just don’t do it for me. I was searching Unilocal and came across this at 4:30pm. Saw they closed at 5pm so we ran down and placed our orders. Service was pretty quick and the ingredients were fresh. Good price and good size burritos. Only complaint would be they were out of fish tacos and there was more rice int he burrito than any other item. Overall though, good experience and would go back. Keep in mind they are a food truck and cash only!

It’s a taco truck, so not much to say. Nothing life changing, but I’m always happy with my order: fresh tortillas, tasty, nothing overcooked, nothing skimped on, priced just right. They offer a variety of proteins to choose from including lengua and tripe. I’ve tried their tacos, burritos, and tamales but they also offer quesadillas and tortas. The truck itself is clean, the condiment bar is well stocked and chilled, and the lady who handles the orders is friendly and efficient. I love the convenience of getting a plate of tacos so close to work. :-) Parking can get tricky during lunch time, so try to beat the crowd.

Tacos just the way I like ‘em. Today I went for the first time and got one fish taco and one steak taco. My picky kido had a cheese quesadilla. All three items were great! I’ll be back when I’m more hungry and try the burrito

This mexican truck is absolutely great! I come here every so often and get s supreme burrito and it always hits the spot. The price is also a steal, 6 $ for a large burrito is superb. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a quick bite to eat. Their tacos are also very tasty. 5 $ no complaints, absolutely delicious.

Benician’s know about this place. So to write a review would be pointless, because if you know about this place, you already know about this place. If you don’t, well, that’s really your fault. Asada Quesadilla w/bell onions.

Tacos Jalisco is parked alongside a liquor store on Military East. no parking visible so most patrons just park in front of the the liquor store. one table available for sitdown dining. menu: tamaes, burritos, tacos, the usual mex items. eats: lenqua burrito(5) –got lots of beans, some rice, tender flavor neutral lengua, choice of red or green sauce –radish, lime, boiled onions, and leeks also available. 4ish stars, 5 star value. take outs: –food on bland side, fresh though –added salsa makes the food fad –fast service, no more than 5 minutes.

This pretty red truck is parked at the edge of a liquor store with a great vintage neon sign. The taco was okay, nothing that I would go out of my way to have again. I would stop; however, when I am in the area and have them again. There is something really satisfying sitting at the table eating tacos and admiring the neon sign and watch traffic go by

This is a Mexican roach coach — not too many ways to spin the ambiance and service here, HOWEVER, the food tastes good, as roach coach food should! BTW, the proper name of the business is Tacos Jalisco, not«Taco Truck» but the place has a huge local following(including me) and I guess everyone local just refers to it as the Taco Truck, so there it is. Today I swung by thinking of getting my usual carnitas burrito, but then I saw the paper sign in the truck window stating«Fish Tacos $ 1.50.» Fish tacos are my favorite and $ 1.50 is as cheap as they get so I ordered a few. THEYWEREDOUBLE-EDEELICIOUS! Most restaurants make fish tacos using batter-fried fish fillets, THESE tacos were made using FRESHFISH. Each taco was piled high with tender, fresh, delicious fish chunks — and I do mean piled high! I asked them what kind of fish they use, it’s basa, and unfortunately they only serve these on Fridays. The main drawbacks of Tacos Jalisco are that the truck is located next to a liquor store and not far from a Big-O, so not prime real estate, and because they are so popular there is usually a 5 to 15 minute wait for your food. Get it? Hanging outside a liquor store with a handful of strangers, many smoking, playing load music in their jalopies or looking gruff next to their Harley. Good thing Benicia is actually a very safe place and the Police station is not far either! Now that they have fish tacos I will be back more often, Damn the vagrants and full speed ahead!
