Very quick. Servings are large. The food is typical for Mexican. Not fancy, but good and plentiful. The building is located in the end of the plaza behind Wendy’s not readily visible from the main road. There is plenty of parking. If you are traveling and want a good, reasonably priced fast meal, this is the place for you.

Nico’s is more in the range of good 3 star but they are consistent across 4 locations I have tried — basic, pretty decent and cheap Mexican food. I was glad to spot Nico’s in the little strip mall so that I could avoid the other quick choices nearby — Wendy’s and other chain fast food crap. All in all I’m not quite sure what to make of Nico’s. Clearly there is some affiliation among the 6+ around Tucson and southern AZ but each one seems to be a bit unique with a personalized down-home basic Mexican fare at good prices.

Burritos are good. Lots of choices and they are all huge. Rolled tacos are yummy. Smothered in guacamole and cheese.
