First time visiting the joint after living for 6 years near the area. I was pretty surprised because when I came in, the décor was very new and fresh. It looks like a combination of a country diner mixed with that hipster restaurants /coffee shops that are the rage nowadays. The place is bright and clean. My server was this old guy with a Southern accent and wow that guy really likes his job. My brother told me he felt that Southern hospitality in him(he spent most of his high school in Tennessee). I gave him quite a huge tip because it was good service. Food-wise it was good. I ordered the Country-Fried Steak breakfast menu and chose pancakes as the side. It was very good! Hashbrowns were crispy and delicious, sunny-side up eggs was perfectly cooked, and the fried steaks was hot and tasted really nice. The breading was crunchy, the insides were juicy and tasty(most country-fried steaks I had was disappointing), and the gravy was just right with a good hint of coarse black pepper. The pancakes were very good! I’m not a pancake guy but man it tastes just wonderful, I’d never thought you’d get pancakes like that in a chain restaurant. Oh it was just so delicious and the right texture(slightly gummy but fluffy, not rubbery /tough). And the condiments tastes amazing as well(the butter, jams, maple syrup — they don’t taste«cheap»). All of that for 9.49! My disappointment was the Breakfast Blend that is heavily advertised in the menu — even the servers wear huge pins that say«Breakfast Blend». The flavor of the coffee is good but it is too acidic and bitter that you get to the flavor as an aftertaste, not when you drink it. Overall I would come back again. No wonder everytime I pass by the restaurant it’s almost always packed — never seen the parking lot empty or low on cars. Gave it 5 stars despite the disappointing coffee because other elements of the dining experience were great.

Visiting from California and stopped in to see what Bob Evans was all about. Had the most amazing server Tim. He made our breakfast experience so pleasant. Great way to spend our Sunday brunch.

It’s a chain, right? But it’s actually decent. Friendly servers and consistent, good food. Their menu is huge and I can dig their breakfasts, especially. Good biscuits… not soaked in butter.

We stopped at Bob Evans for breakfast. One of the worst breakfasts ever. The eggs were way overcooked. The hash browns were a rock hard solid mass, and the sausage was charred beyond recognition. I will say that the waitress was pleasant, but she had the lamest excuse ever«That’s just the way they’ve been coming out lately». So the cook is a robot? An out of control robot?

As far as Bob Evans and related places go — this Bob Evans is great. It has been impressively remodeled, the staff was efficient and friendly. The food was cooked properly and tasted great. I will be coming back here again.

Well it a chain restaurant so they are mostly the same. Service is good most of the time and food is consistent. I just wish they would stop taking all the good items off the menu.

Its Bob Evans. But not the Bob Evans of the 80s and 90s that screamed«give me some flapjacks and pancakes». Instead it has abandoned much of what made it authentic and a good alternative to IHOP or Denny’s and has embraced the«follow us on twitter» and«hashtag» environment. The food is a solid C. The change from simplicity a major failure.

Friendly service always. We frequent there for breakfast. I always have a delicious meal here. They are know for the sausage and I see why — yum. Their cappucinos are delish! Get on their e-mailing list for BOGO coupons — which they will gladly scan from your phone. Just be sure to tip on the original amount. Yes, the bathroom isn’t The Hilton — and I agree it could use a remodel, but I’ve seen much worse.

Biscuits and gravy, service was excellant. Restrooms were filthy and run down. Poor review is for the filthyness of the place. The food and waitress were wonderful. Price was very good as well. I just can’t give a filthy restaurant a good rating though… yuck.

We were driving back from Michigan to Chicago and we were looking for a diner for breakfast. We happened to run into Bob Evans on 94 on the way. And wow. We were not expecting what we expected. We got so much food and it was reasonably priced. There was a HUGE menu selection. and it seemed like everybody else there was enjoying their time. It was really good. It’s just a different feel than going to an IHOP or a Denny’s. Yay for Bob Evans! You saved our roadtrip home!
