Wow, was this place an unexpected find! We were seated quickly early one Sunday morning. A very large group was sat just before we were. Our server, Christine, was impeccable. She quietly said that she was going to put our order in as they were still deciding, so that our food wouldn’t be behind theirs — which was certain to back up the kitchen. The food was great! Omelettes are huge and ingredients are fresh. Pancakes are perfect and syrup is served warm. The strawberry crepes with mascarpone are sent from heaven. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. No one was able to finish their meal. The place is a little dated, which somewhat affects the ambiance. It’s just too bad that when this was redone in the 90’s that more neutral palettes weren’t on trend. It’s been take care of, but I can only handle so much mauve with my breakfast. Great find! Go here and treat Christine well.

I was dropped off for lunch at this place by the car dealership that was doing recall repairs on my car. It was great, with generous portions of tasty food and graciously friendly service. I’d recommend this café to anyone coming through the area. It was a terrific lunch for $ 12.

I knew this place was going to be good judging by how many people were eating here. My waitress was Nicole and she was exceptional! She kept passing by to see if everything was ok and she was very friendly. I ordered the feta and gyro omelette and it was delicious, huge and well priced. Looking forward to going back.

I absolutely love this place. Food is always on point. I get the same thing each time, and the consistency is amazing. The prices are fair for the food quality. The service is always great. My family and I usually go on Mother’s day, their busiest day and have never had a messed up order. If I did, they would happily fix it. They are polite and the owner is always around greeting and thanking guests. It’s adorable and I always leave with a smile. Keep up the amazing work! HIGHLYRECOMMENDED! !

Always excessive amounts of home quality food at an affordable price with speedy service. My only letdown is how many times I’m in the mood for it in the evenings and they close early! -.-

Ridiculously busy on weekend mornings. The waitress messed up our order twice and we were charged almost twice the price for an egg white only omelet without being told before hand. Mabye I was there on an off day, but my experience was nothing special. Might as well save time and money and go to Denny’s.

All the times that I’ve been here; the staff has been friendly and grateful! It’s an awesome sight of team work when this place is busy, it runs like clock work! The menu is extensive and well prepared.

Breakfast was all right nothing exceptional. Ordered the smoked sausage, normally in other restaurants you get a whole sausage. Received four pieces of sausage maybe ¾ inch long. So received a half a sausage. Ask for onions in my hash browns, and the waitress said there was an extra charge, I guess I should have ask how much. Even though I don’t believe they should charge for this, other restaurants have charged $.35 — $.50 which is acceptable and this is what I expected. On receiving the bill we were charge $ 1.70 each for a total of $ 3.40 for few onions pieces in the hash browns. They need to make a profit, however, I think this is totally out of line. We were here for a high school graduation, we are from out of state and stopped here because it said homemade breakfast. It was a great breakfast! We got tons of food and the wait staff was awesome. Everyone was so polite and kept checking on us to make sure we were okay.

Ask for Christina, über helpful waitress, indulge in blissful breakfast, and waddle to the car! Gyro, egg, feta, onion over potatoes with over easy egg topper. Sausage gravy, eggs, biscuits, hashbrowns, melt in your mouth, perfectly peppered gravy. Aaaahhhhh!

Rick R. Great food and service. Owner is on site and that always makes a difference. Orders are large. My wife and I usually split the meals. Food is very good, haven’t had a bad one yet.

I LOVE sophia’s house of pancakes! On my last trip, the waitress suggested that I get my biscuits grilled. I’ve been going there for a few years now, and just barely learned that last year! I love their chicken fried steak breakfast, and I always get it with the gravy on the side since I hate it when my food gets soggy. Do yourself a favor the next time you order biscuits and get them grilled! P. S. Portions are very large, so come hungry.

Something is off here. Did ownership change? My experience did not match my fellow Unilocalers. The pancakes were dry, flavorless and odd. The eggs and hash-brown skillet was similarly flavorless. To be honest it reminded me of the eggs and hash-browns you get at a complimentary hotel breakfast(precisely what I was trying to avoid today). I’m sorry Sophia’s, it was bad.

We went here for breakfast this morning as we are staying at a hotel nearby. One word sums up this place — WOWDELICIOUSAMAZING!(Ok, so I made it up…) But seriously the food was great the service was really good — although a bit slow to start off because, according to our waitress some(more than one) servers called in sick, but by the time we left the management had called in other staff and they had eight waitstaff on the floor. On to the food — my wife is particular about her eggs, they were cooked perfectly as were my scrambled eggs. Now, on to the stars — the pancakes and their homemade biscuits. The pancakes were light and fluffy and had a great flavor. The biscuits were(to use my made up word, WOWDELICIOUSAMAZING. They split them in back and griddle-toast them to get just that ‘extra bit of caramelization’. We definitely will be back here when we stay in the area!
