Bay Threading Beauty Salon

I went there a few days ago because I purchased $ 15 for 3 session discount from Groupon. My eyebrows are all over the place and uneven. She did a pretty good job tidying up my eyebrows. My eyebrow still came out a little bit uneven but it is not as noticeable as before. I am satisfied with the result even though I have had better before. Talk to her and tell her how you want your eyebrows to be shaped. She is very nice. I am surprised it didn’t really hurt that much. She also used aloe and gave me a brief temple message. I will definitely go back even after I used up with the Groupon discount.

Got the groupon for this place and it is worth it! $ 15 for 3 threading sessions brings me back to the $ 6 threading sessions I use to get all the time in NYC. The service was fast, and she actually shaped my brows really well. I have thick ones, and most people always either thin them out too much and make them super shapely, or don’t do anything with them, but she found a good balance. I did think it was weird that she asked me if I wanted lip threading because I have no lip hair at all, but can’t blame a girl for wanting to sell up! Will def come back here after my groupon is over.

Quick&Dirty: $ 10, A-​OK service.
First visit review (detail): Visited the salon today (Saturday) because I walked by it a few times before. The place is clean and there was no wait because no one was there. There was only one woman there, she didn’t give a name (I think it is pretty important to get a name so that if you like a certain threader or want consistency you can request them the next time you go back). Overall, she did an okay job, one side of my brow did have some bruising but for the most part they were even and nicely shaped. She did her best to clean all of the hairs off my face as she worked, which was helpful. She also used aloe and did like a 10 second temple massage at the end.
$ 10 for brows (cheap but same as Priya, Rupa’s) they have a stamp card (10 stamps=1 free service). The card also says 20%off for first three months, not exactly sure what that means because I told her it was my first time here but she still charged me the standard $ 10 rate.
Honestly, I’d have to go back a few more times to give a better review but since the place is new I thought it would be helpful to review it now.

Clean and quick. She definitely has a good threading hand with attention to detail and a quick method. I also think she’s one of the best in terms of low levels of pain! Yay!
