Channon Kao is a wonderful OD! She gets my prescription absolutely perfect… I have actually noticed a huge difference since I started seeing her! She also gave me a couple sets of contacts to try out… I have an astigmatism, and after getting the right lenses, I can see perfectly .and since I got to try out a few different brands, I chose the pair that felt the most comfortable, and I love them. Great customer service too.

Finally, an OD I see eye to eye with! I don’t know what it was with my past choices, but I always managed to go to ODs that were a bit ODD. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Channon was on time and personable, knowledgeable and never rushed me. I felt like she really cared about my concerns and listened. I liked that she gave me a few options with my contacts, and loaded me up with freebies. I’ll definitely be going back to her. Channon was recommended by my fave eyewear store, Focal Point on Ashby at College, but her office is located within the confines of a different eyewear store (For Eyes?) in downtown Berkeley. Parking might be a pain in the ass, unless you pray to Asphalta, goddess of street parking. (Hey, don’t laugh – it worked when I lived in North Beach.)
