The lady that helped us was very sweet, and took her time with our questions. Service was fast and our buns were warm, fresh and delicious!

I love Cinnaholic! At first, the idea of vegan cinnamon rolls is not appetizing, but after you try one you’ll be converted! I love the idea of choosing my own flavor frosting and toppings(its similar to Coldstone ice cream) My favorite combo is amaretto frosting and chocolate chips. I’ve also tried the butter pecan frosting, which I found too sweet, but I did like raspberries as a topping once. yummy place!

If you love cinnamon rolls, this is the place for you! My friend and I were trying to figure out what to eat and decided to try Cinnaholic. We’d both heard great things about it from our friends. We walked in just to be astounded by the different ways you could create your cinnamon roll. It was so overwhelming that my friend asked what the popular combination was. The friendly lady at the cash register said that cream cheese with cookie dough was the a favorite. Since my friend doesn’t quite care for cookie dough, we ended up getting a cream cheese with blueberries. It was absolutely delicious and had some of the best blueberries I have ever eaten. Cinnaholic is a dangerous place if you’re like me and love cinnamon rolls! There’s a few tables outside to eat but they were all taken so we took our cinnamon roll to the park nearby to enjoy. The ladies who were working that day were super friendly. Why are you still reading this review? Go!!!

Ugh, love Cinnaholic! The cinnamon bun itself is absolutely delicious. It’s not as sweet as a regular cinnamon bun, which is perfect. I got it with the hazelnut syrup, strawberries, and granola. It was all so good together, but to be honest, I could do without all the toppings and just eat the bun on its own, that’s how good it is. Definitely coming back when I can!

I can’t believe it’s my first time trying this place when I’ve been in berkeley all these years! Currently inhaling my scrumptious delight as I write this review. The bun is so soft and fluffy. Got strawberry frosting which is plenty sweet but doesn’t taste like strawberries. Still good tho! & who doesn’t love cookie dough. Also got the daily special which has regular frosting, brownie bites and walnuts. Sweeter than the strawberry one actly! Brownies are not overwhelmingly chocolatey and cinnamon bun is a good texture. I like mine better tho. Can’t wait to get my next cinnamon bun fix! I might become a cinnaholic from this place. Hahahaha

One word. ADDICTED. Cinnaholic is now my must stop dessert every time I come down to Berkeley. This cute little cinnamon bun shop will not disappoint you and trust me even if you’re full you’ll want more, there’s so many frosting flavors and toppings to choose from you’ll want to try it all. And on top of that it’s vegan! I was jumping for joy knowing everything I was consuming was cruelty free!

Cinnamon rolls are good because of the butter, right? Think again – this place makes a top-notch totally vegan cinnamon roll with a taste that rivals the classic recipe! The standard roll with vanilla frosting is a great place to start, but if you’re feeling adventurous, you can get a flavored icing and/or add toppings. The toppings seem a little excessive to me, but I love the idea of flavored icing. Can’t wait to go back and try it with orange-flavored icing! The customer service provided is excellent. The employee behind the counter was friendly, welcoming, and coached me through my first order.

100 percent vegan? That threw me for a loop for sure. But boy oh boy, did this place shut down my preconceived notions about vegan desserts. First of all, the customer service was excellent. The woman who helped me had a fantastic smile, she recommended me her favorites, and explained things to me when I had questions about the menu. I tried the Vanilla with Oreos. I have a thing for cookies n cream. It was so tasty. The sweetness hit the spot! I will say that it was better than Cinnabon. CRAZYRIGHT? Can’t wait to try out more combinations from that menu!

This place was amazing! I will for sure be coming here whenever I have a sweet tooth in the future. It was sweet but not too sweet.

Cinnaholic is completely and utterly drool-worthy. My husband saw them on Shark Tank. Fast forward a year or so later, and we were visiting while he worked in Berkeley. We decided to swing by for some cinnamon goodness. Our son has a dairy allergy, and this allowed us to actually eat dessert without the threat of an allergic reaction. We’ve been back a few times since, and each time is better than the last. The best I’ve combined yet? Pomegranate icing with cookie dough on top. Divine!

I’ve been here four times and I have yet to be disappointed. I usually get maple and pecans on mine and I never regret it. Yesterday I actually bought two because I wanted to treat myself and eat one the next morning. I asked one of the people working what they recommended goes well with marshmallows and they recommended a few items and the one thst stuck out was peanut butter. Yup, they were right. Marshmallows and peanut butter tasted like heaven… even the next morning… even cold. Next time I’m buying more than two. Great service + great tasting vegan food + great prices = I’ll be back. Totally worth the drive from UC Davis. Thank you Cinnaholic!

Cinnabon, watch out… because Cinnaholic definitely will give you a run for your money! Stopped here while walking around the downtown Berkeley area and needing to satisfy my sweet tooth. When we came in, the line wasn’t too long — just one or two people ahead of us. By the time we left, the line was out the door! My friend and I each order a cinnamon roll — he got one with the butter pecan frosting and brownie bites topping. I decided to go with the banana frosting with chocolate sauce and chocolate chip toppings. One word: EPIC! I dare not even think about the calories we consumed between these two later on — although I am justifying it by all the walking around we did! The only reason I don’t give this place 5 stars is because I wish the actual cinnamon roll was bursting with more cinnamon! The one thing I can give cinnabon is when you have one of their rolls, you definitely get that gooey, cinnamon taste. I really didn’t get that with these! Improve on that and I would definitely give this place 5 stars!

This was ridiculously good. I won’t need to eat anything sweet for a month. Vegans and omnis alike can partake in this amazing dessert experience. Highly recommend!

Delicious vegan cinnamon rolls/buns! You choose your toppings(they have a lot to choose from!) and frosting. These are served warm and ready to be gobbled up! We usually buy a few to take back home and enjoy. Friendly staff who really care about the quality of their food. Once you have these, you’ll probably never go back to Cinnabon in the malls! They have a few outdoor tables/chairs along the sidewalk but those can fill up quickly. You’ll most likely need to park a few blocks away but these are worth the walk. While you’re in downtown Berkeley… check out some other great establishments reviewed on Unilocal

Very cool way to customize your own cinnamon roll! My girlfriends and I each ordered our own cinnamon roll. I had the original. It had the perfect balance of what a dessert should be. Not overly sweet. The other had a custom order consisted of a maple frosting flavor with apple crumb. *The cashier did note that the mix would be overly sweet but that was her opinion*. And she was right. That combo was super sweet. Another custom order was the hazelnut frosting with apple crumb topping. Again, very sweet. I would advise Unilocalers that the apple crumb is just brown sugar with cinnamon. I would come back again if I’m in the neighborhood.

Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed after anxiously awaiting to try a cinnamon roll from this place. You have the option of picking your own toppings and what not. I ordered one of their own concoctions with strawberries. So the basis of this review has to do with the roll itself. When I think of a cinnamon roll, I think of ooey gooey goodness. This did not have that whatsoever. It was dry, tasteless, and didn’t have that cinnamon boom that I was looking for. It really doesn’t matter what your toppings are if the roll, itself, fell short. People working there were super friendly and customer service was great. Sad about the cinnamon rolls though. 2 stars.

Came here for the first time when I was vegan and omg these cinnamon rolls are heavenly. The rolls are huge, warm and goey. Regardless of whether you choose one of their specials, or customize with your own frosting and toppings, get ready to indulge. Personally, I prefer the fruit toppings and almonds to all else. The irish cream frosting is really good. Service is really friendly, and this place was on Shark Tank! Not much seating though, so plan to enjoy your roll to-go.

We had the plain cinnamon rolls that just came out of the oven and we loved them! We talked about what our next toppings would be when we come back.

I have no idea how the heck they manage to have such a luxuriously creamy sauce and still be vegan! Quite literally the perfect cinnamon roll. They’re ever so slightly crisp on the outside but gooey and tender on the inside! The variety of sauce flavors and topping is never disappointing. Plus, the price is RIGHT. If you’re ever in Berkeley, definitely worth a stop!!!

Birthday travels means birthday buns! I ordered 6 whole buns for myself… and significant order to share! Okay, okay, I exaggerated. I ordered 1 full sized bun with all the shazam and 5 mini buns with different frostings. The full sized one I got with coffee flavored frosting, cookie dough and coconut toppings. The mini ones consisted of cherry, macadamia nut, cream cheese, piña colada, and pumpkin spice. My favorite frosting has to be the coffee. Second place goes to macadamia nut. This might be personal preference but do not attempt the piña colada. As much as I love to drink them, they just do not taste the same in frosting form! For toppings, do get the cookie dough! It is so sweet and delicious! And being egg-free and all, you do not have to worry about over eating it! I was a bit disappointed they did not have the«Pizza» ones when I visited but hopefully they will next time; *wink wink* I also was a bit disappointed by service, it was my birthday and well I was not even congratulated. Anywho, it is smack in the middle of college town with tons of kids so it is to be expected. I even over heard many kids get into shock how everything could be vegan atlas tasting so good. Yes kids, Cinnaholic is vegan and it is damn good!

I came by Berkeley and was craving something sweet. Cinnaholic seemed like the perfect choice! I ordered the hazelnut raspberry jam cinnamon roll and it was great. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet and was light on the stomach a.k.a. it was guilt-free dessert. I loved how the juices of the raspberries mixed with the frosting making each bite both sweet and fruity.

This place is the BOMB! The best cinnamon rolls in the entire United States. Heck, the best(vegan/non-vegan) in the world, as cinnamon rolls are from the US of A! I’ve been following their Instagram from abroad for years, thinking I’d never get to go to this amazing place. The day came though! The rolls are doughy and soft. They pretty much have the perfect texture. They seem big at first but once you’ve had that first bite. you’ll eat that thing up fast and regret there isn’t more. The frosting options are so varied it’s hard to pick one. They all sound as yummy! I’ve tried the cream cheese and the macadamia. Both great. Cream cheese is obviously«creamier». For the toppings, I’m a cookie dough addict so the choice is easily made. They give you a TON of it. In a good way. I saw they also sell straight up cookie dough! Yum. They also have so many other toppings to choose from like fresh fruit, pecans, pie crumbs… The manager of Cinnaholic is super sweet. She always has a nice word to say to the customers and she’s very smiley. My only regret is that there isn’t a Cinnaholic closer to where we live in San Francisco. This is why, every time I make a trip to Berkeley, Cinnaholic HAS to be on the itinerary! I will finally decide to make an online order for a dozen soon, when I can’t wait to go back to Berkeley anymore :-)

I have become OBSESSED with this place!!! Before my first visit a couple of weeks ago i had ALWAYS wanted to come here however i was always super full from other places I would eat at in Berkeley. Then… I FINALLY had the opportunity to come and let me just say this place is heaven sent. Now I dream & crave eating here so much! The location is pretty small and has like two tables outside and a few chairs. You order at the register & they call out your order when its ready! You can customize your own bun with picking 1st your frosting & 2nd your toppings. Or you can pick the special of the day and other ones they have in the display. A usual order is about $ 6 and the special of the day is $ 5 My first visit I went by myself and customized a bun with hazelnut frosting, cookie dough & a chocolate drizzle. This was sooo delicious. The buns are warm, soft & extremely addictive The hazelnut frosting is a nice soft hazelnut flavor, not overpowering. The cookie dough is awesome too. This was $ 6 total. After this day i was extremely happy and NEEDED to bring my friends here! Today I went & brought one of my close friends! We both ordered ones from the display. My friend ordered the special which was like a blueberry cinnamon coffee cake(something like that! Lol) He said it was soooo good, after the 1st bite he was in love lol! I didn’t try it because im not really into gram cracker cookies which is what his had. I ordered the«nutella» inspired one. It had Hazelnut frosting Chocolate chips & raspberries Ooooooohhhhhh my jesus i had literally just discovered the most perfect combination. The bun was sooo warm & my favorite frosting and since it was warm it melted the chocolate chips !! Then the raspberries added the perfect touch of tartness. This was soo amazing I wanted to order 50 orders of this all for myself!!! Long story short this place is a fucking dream!!! They do cinnamon roll cakes and im really considering ordering one for my birthday next month of the nutella inspired one!!! And to make it even more awesome this place is all VEGAN! Who would of thought!!! Crazy delicious.

Quality cinnamon rolls! I couldn’t even tell that they were Vegan. It’s a great dessert-sharing option if you’re in Berkeley(or nearby their other stores). Beware, the roll-frosting combo is as sweet as can be… I don’t think there’s a mildly-sweet frosting(or that wasn’t pointed out to me). The menu is very overwhelming when you enter, and my big complaint is that there were no frosting-topping suggested combos, other than the special. They’ve been in business a while and should know what’s popular … and should share it with the customer. The special today, in honor of Thanksgiving, was a pumpkin pie cinnamon roll, with real pumpkin in the frosting. It was the best roll we had. Other than the special, the rolls are made to order. The chocolate and vanilla frostings had the right flavoring, but the root beer wasn’t very good, and you couldn’t tell the flavor of the blueberry. Overall, I’m very glad I stopped in to get a few rolls.

Wow. Why the hell haven’t I been here sooner? I mean, vegan desserts, c’mon! Perhaps I was thinking of some stodgy, heavy bun, or more likely, put off by the painfulness that is parking in downtown Berkeley(as it happened, on a Saturday morning, it was easy). But the truth is quite different; the dessert I had was light and just the right size. I didn’t feel like I’d stuffed myself, and I certainly didn’t need any more. I didn’t bother to labor over the various combinations, but just had a berry one on display in the cabinet. Now, I’m not sure about displaying Timeless coffee as the best place to get vegan desserts, but it’s surely close. Anyway, forget the fact that it’s vegan, you gotta try this out.

Frequenting this place more than I would like to admit… I am super excited my home base in Las Vegas is getting one! Being vegan and getting a smothered smore’s covered cinnamon bun is a dream come true. Using(no-hoof-madness) yummy gelatin-free Dandies marshmallows, milk free premium chocolate and honey free graham’s…perfection. Every time I come here I try soooo hard to get a different creation but I fail every time. I fall slave to that warm fresh bun with warm smore’s madness. My husband is not a fan of cinnamon so he usually selects her HUGE decadent homemade brownies. I’m soooo sad we didn’t jump on the chance to grab our own franchise but we were to late but I’m super stoked to get those gourmet buns into my tum! Get in mai belly ASAP. Boy I hope it’s not tooooo close to my house!
