What I had: Peach Italian soda Visit date: August 17, 2015 First time? Yes. All I had was a peach Italian soda but I enjoyed it! You can totally mess up Italian soda, but Felini’s ratio of syrup to soda was on point. The staff is friendly, they have an assortment of baked goods from various bakeries, and there is ample seating and parking.

Love these guys! They are super sweet and not only know my order, but perfected it. Could not ask for a better local coffee shop.

Best organic coffee I’ve had in the East Bay. Their beans are from Mr. Coffee and that makes all the difference.

I needed a coffee fix and found this place thanks to Unilocal of course. It’s a nice location in north Berkeley. There was a little line but it moved quickly. I got the chai frappé. It was very good. The taste wasn’t too strong. All of the pastries also looked delicious but I opted to not get any. I did get to try my boyfriends spinach and feta pasty and it was really good. There’s no indoor seating but they had a few tables on the side.

I really want to like this place and I keep going back hoping my experience will be different. But sadly the service keeps disappointing me. The cashiers are friendly but they often get my drink wrong when I ask for caramel sauce instead of syrup. The baristas never smile and they get huffy about tailored drinks. I make a point to always say thank you to baristas but the ones here don’t even make eye contact and honestly they seem like they’d rather be anywhere else. Also the last time I went I paid 7.60 for an iced soy latte with caramel, outrageous. Sorry Fellinis I think I’m done trying to work things out, sigh.

Been here the past two days as my daughter attended orientation at Cal. Pleasant service both days by different individuals. Must have is the blueberry cheese Danish! I chased mine with the white chocolate mocha and was pleased with that too. The fifth star will come if my next visit is as pleasant as the one. Service is the key!

Been going here for months. The staff knows me… all of them hah. Maybe that’s a sign I go to much, but this place rocks.

The veggie quiche is my favorite and the main reason why I go. However, the barista(possibly owner?) who is the late 30-something woman with dark hair always has something negative to say, never smiles, and acts like every second costs her a dime. No seriously. Every interaction I’ve had with her has been extremely unpleasant. She seems to work there everyday and people defer to her. If she is the owner, I’m surprised this business is still running. –1 star for her.

I go here a good few times a week on my way to the Bart station. Consistent quality for their latte– I judge a coffee place by how well they foam their milks– and this place does it right. Smooth like velvet. Great selection of pastries including a delicious roasted veg quiche which is to die for-as well as a colorful array of vegan doughnuts. Great work!

My goodness if these folks don’t just nail my double almond milk latte EVERYTIME. Excellent espresso, great flavor. Friendly, down to earth staff that seem to make whatever kind of morning it is be served with a dash of awesome. Also, I’ve noticed folks stick around that work there– as a former barista, I can say that low turnover is also a secret hallmark of a superior coffee shop. Thanks Fellini!

If you love interacting with incredibly unpleasant baristas first thing in the morning, then this is the place for you! I don’t care how good the coffee is.

This is a cute place right off of University Ave. There is plenty of parking that you don’t have to pay at the meter! #winner the staff is very friendly and pretty fast. I ordered an iced coffee and really enjoyed it(I always order this if I have never been to the place before) The only thing that would be a downer is if it rains because you have to stand outside in line. Other than that… I’m definitely returning!

This place is pretty awesome. I love how it’s outdoors and best of all, there’s a private parking lot if you decide to drive! It opens bright and early around 7am so for you early risers, it’s definitely a great place to grab your cup of coffee. I ordered a caramel latte instead and was rather pleased with how it turned out. It was just the right amount of sweetness complete with beautiful latte art(see picture attaché to review). You’re able to make it a single or double shot with no extra charge with the 12oz I ordered(medium size). Whipped cream is optional, but I chose to opt out not only because of the extra calories, but because I wanted to see the artwork on the foam. Although I didn’t order any pastries, it was awfully tempting. The vegan donuts were practically calling my name. Everything on the pastry plates looked fresh and colorful(mostly the donuts). I encourage you to try it when you visit aside from the great tasting coffee!

I live nearby. Many of the other reviewers have nailed it: good coffee, good water, good service, good vibe. Totally five stars, but it’s a coffee stand really… so just outdoor seating — thus 4 stars. Still, I love it and I would come here over many other options around town.

My go-to coffee shop in Berkeley! The lattes and dark roast are amazing; I haven’t had much else other than a hot chocolate but I’m sure all the drinks are wonderful. The pastry assortment is also very good, the lemon poppyseed muffins and various scones are more than worth the few dollars they’ll cost you. There’s almost always a line here, and for good reason. The private parking lot is very useful, and there’s about 10 chairs with a few tables to enjoy your food and/or drink outside if the weather is nice. As a tip, this place is also dog friendly and has treats behind the counter! Excellent, inexpensive, and fast coffee, what more can you ask for!

Dropped by here on my way to take 80, and was so pleasantly surprised! I love little spots like these, and there’s a parking lot right across the kiosk so I’ll definitely be dropping by more often! Another plus, they serve almond milk and have Cookie Department cookies(so much ginger goodness in the Detox cookie)!

This is a cute little coffee shack located on University Ave, right next to Pizza Moda. I stopped by at around 1:30 today. My mid-day caffeine craving had hit, and this was the closest to the BART station. The soy latte I ordered was right on the money. They also have several vegan pastry options, as well as some delectable-sounding scones(banana chocolate chip? Yes, please!). Had I not been rushing off to lunch, I would have snagged at least one sweet treat for the road. Next time, for sure! The barista was exceptionally friendly. A real Guy Smiley. He was manning both the cash register and the espresso machine, and was doing so with speed. He seemed to be a really pleasant fella, so I’m bumping this up to a five.
