I just got my iphone 6 back and it is working fine. Hopefully it stays that way. The service was door-to-door and I even got a free screen protector. It definitely saves time if you are in a hurry. Thank you!

DONOTGETYOURPHONEREPAIREDHERE, let me tell you why. My black iphone 6 screen screen was cracked and iPhone Renew has technicians that will come to where ever you are, pick up your phone, fix it, then drop it back off. I have a weird work schedule so this was perfect. The dude showed up at my work, took my phone for 45 minutes and came back but my phone had a white face on it. He told me that 3 of the 4 screens he tried to put on had«manufacturing problems» and were broken so that’s why he had to put the white face on. So that’s red flag number 1. I was quoted $ 100 on the phone but when he handed me the invoice it was $ 120, with a $ 6 discount for having a different colored face. OMGTHANKYOUSOMUCH. That’s the second red flag. I didn’t have time to bother with it because I was leaving for Europe the next day and just needed a working phone. So I paid in cash and sent him on his way. 3 days into my 19 day trip, the phone screen goes completely blue, like when a PC has a virus. It won’t turn on, won’t turn off, it’s just blue. Red flag number 3. After a few hours the screen comes back on, except that only half of the touch screen works, there are vertical lines all over the screen and it randomly starts pressing all the apps like its malfunctioning from the inside. Red flag number 4. I did not drop my phone, I did not spill water on my phone, I did not expose my phone to hot or freezing temperatures. I came to the conclusion that he put a broken screen on my phone. But recalling the time he said 3 of the 4 screens he tired installing didn’t work, I wasn’t surprised. But now I’m pissed because I have to spend another $ 130 to get my phone fixed in Europe. When I got back to the states the phone started acting up again. I called them up and explained the whole situation to them saying that I either would like a refund or would like for them to come fix my phone. They said I was covered in my warranty and would come back out and replace the screen with one of their own screens, not a problem. Great, perfect. So a technician comes out, takes my phone for another 45 minutes, brings it back with a new screen and says I’m good to go. Not even 2 hours later the phone touch screen doesn’t work, my phone keeps freezing and the right side of the screen is popping out. So once again, they’ve put a broken phone screen on my phone, and didn’t even install it properly. Red flag number 5. I’m livid at this point. I’ve already spent nearly $ 300 to fix the phone. I could have bought a brand new phone by now. I tried to get a hold of them for 3 days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Finally on Monday I get a hold of someone and he says he’s not sure why one of his techs would come out and replace the screen if I’ve already gotten it replaced by someone else because now I’m not covered under the warranty. WHYDIDSOMEONEEVENBOTHERTOCOMEOUT, FIXMYPHONE, TELLMEITWASFINE, IFIT’S ACTUALLYAGAINSTTHEIRPOLICY??? Also, what the fuck was the guy doing with my phone for 45 minutes? Sitting in his car looking at my photos? Downloading apps on my phone? Who knows. So he says«Let me call you right back». 5 hours later I still haven’t heard from him so I call him back. He said«sorry we’re having difficulties with our phone and internet» AREYOUFUCKINGKIDDINGME. A phone repair company is having problems with their phones and internet. In case you’ve lost count, that’s red flag numero 6. This place a fucking joke. So then they tell me that they’ll give me a refund if I get the screen back from the place I got it fixed at in Europe. Or they can install a brand new screen at full price. Are you fucking kidding me? This place is actually the fucking worst. As of now, I am still waiting to hear back from someone about a refund or even fixing the problem. But I won’t hold my breath. TL;DR: Moral of the story, save your time, money and energy, and get your phone fixed elsewhere. Don’t bother with this place. They’ll put a broken screen on your phone, and then expect you to cough up more money to fix it.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but these guys were great! Unfortunately, I dropped my iPhone 5s the other day and cracked the screen significantly. After some research, I decided to give these guys a try. They recently opened this Berkeley location, but their SF location has good reviews so I went ahead and booked an online appointment. They responded to my online appointment within 20 minutes and called me later to reconfirm. They have a free pick up and drop off return service but it made sense for me to drop it off myself(I was running lots of errands). They quoted me at $ 89 for the screen repair. Their office is just a few desks but that didn’t really bother me. After drop off, my phone was ready soon after. I gave them an hour and when I returned, my phone was ready and looked great! They explained their year long warranty and charged me as quoted. I was very happy! Hopefully I don’t need to use them again, but they were great. I recommend them.
