The Chevron down the block is usually 2 cents cheaper. This station(Gilman & San Pablo) is right next to REI, Chipotle, and Walgreens. Smaller station but depending where you’re headed it might have easy access. Paper towel dispensers attached to the side of the trash can and dispense the old brown style towels. I don’t know why they don’t dispense the regular blue Chevron towels.

This Chevron station used to be an independent and like SP Food Mart down the street had cheaper gasoline prices. Those days are over, although their prices are sometimes lower than the Chevron just down the block on the corner of San Pablo and Gilman. And unlike the Chevron up on the Alameda, this station won’t win any awards, unless there’s a retro East Berlin category.

This station is a little hard to get into but its good for emergencies. However, I urge caution that at this location or one of the other 2 chevrons I used, I got credit card fraud and had huge charges on my card from chevron! So be weary.

Convenient when heading a certain direction. Exits and entrances trickier and usually a few cents more per gallon than Xtra a block away on San Pablo. Both are not as cheap as the one at Cedar but that one has the most chaos. Two gas station reviews in one day — can you tell I’ve been spending too much time driving back and forth to work?
