Studio inForm

I had the pleasure of working at Studio InForm for just over two years with two of their instructors Jana and Rebecca. Consider yourself very lucky if you get the chance to work with either of them. The studio is worm, clean, professional and always welcoming. The workouts were always exciting there trying out all of the great equipment. Studio InForm is a peaceful environment and a little escape from the world.
Jana taught me to have a completely new understanding of how to use my body. She was constantly thinking of news ways that would help me in my everyday life despite having a medical condition. She is understanding and beyond thoughtful in her passion for Pilates and her students. Jana is the BEST in the Bay Area!
Rebecca is also a great instructor. She always took time making sure you got the most out of every session. She is so caring and understanding in finding the best solutions for each person she worked with at the studio.
I always felt like a new person after working with Jana and Rebecca. You can’t go wrong with Studio Inform!!!

One of the benefits of this studio, is that there is a wonderful massage therapist, Daniella, who through her practice makes me a better person.
Daniella is incredibly sweet, welcoming and very respectful of my body. She was easy to schedule with and the time was well worth it! I have constantly tight shoulders and Daniella’s firm and deep massage worked everything out in 90 minutes; I didn’t believe she could have such strength! She was attentive to my tighter areas, yet still spent time on my entire body including my oh-​so-​sore feet :)
I left the studio feeling calm, relaxed and restored; I had some idea of my tension but I was really impressed at how good I felt all over!
If you’re in need for a massage that will give your body the attention it needs, look no further! I am going back for another 90-​min massage as soon as my holiday shopping is over and will hint to my boyfriend for some gift certificates! Thank you Daniella!

I have been working with Jana Cerny for about 12 years now. I started out with chronic lower back issues since I was a teenager. Within the first year, I was off my chiropractor dependency and I’ve rarely ever had a back issue (much less a need for reactive chiropractic care) since. She’s truly been my «core» support! Amazing. Don’t take a Pilates «mat class» without at least having SOME personal coaching — and Jana is the best in the Bay Area!

This review is for Marisa Pugliano, one of the trainers here. I have worked with Marisa for over a year, and I can definitely say that my life has changed because of the work we have done together. I feel stronger, more grounded, and more in control of my body.
Marisa is a wonderful teacher. She is extremely knowledgeable about anatomy, pilates, yoga, you name it. She is thoughtful and purposeful in her approach. She is extraordinarily caring, and has just the right amount of bossiness when you need it. :) She is extremely positive, but never in a terrifyingly perky way as some trainers can be. (We’ve all had one of those at some point, right?) She is especially great with those who have serious injuries.
All in all, I have had a great time working with her, and I highly recommend her as a teacher and a trainer.

It took a referral from my Pilates Trainer (Marisa Pugliano) to get me to start working on a path to health. I sometimes wonder why I waited so long? Stubborn I guess.
Working with Marisa using Pilates and body strengthening exercises tailored for my body and my muscle specific ailments I have gained flexibility and strength I had lost as I had gained a major amount of weight and was slowly falling apart.
With her positive attitude and innate ability to read my body and my pain threshold (and yes I admit it, my stubbornness) she helped me to make a safe and sane plan for health. This is a form of miracle to me. I really had given up hope to ever gain this type of mobility and range ever again in my life.
So if you are looking for kind, caring, and very intelligent help for your bodies aches, and pains or just want to feel good in your body, and look forward to getting up in the morning with a constantly improving body and attitude, I highly recommend Marisa Pugliano for Pilates training and a clear path to health.

I have been working with Jana for the past 6 years and can not say enough good things about her! She has an amazing grasp on human anatomy and utilized that knowledge to help her students move deeper into their work in a safe and challenging way. When I came to Jana my list of injuries was very, very long. I was living with chronic pain and suffering through work each day. I had tried physical therapy to no avail. I am happy to say that I am now strong, able and pain free. Jana is extremely talented, kind, intuitive and a pleasure to work with. Her studio is lovely and easy to find with good parking.
