They are known for their chocolate dipped strawberries. They do not seem to be long stem strawberries, but I could be wrong. Either way, they are pretty big strawberries. It’s a dollar for one, but five bucks for a little tin tray of them. The tray has about six or seven. They also have other treats like popcorn, which go for two dollars per carton. Though I have never actually seen them with my own eyes, they also have red velvet cupcakes, but rest assured they do have them. They may also have little cartons and baskets of berries for sale. I am very happy about another food stand on this street corner, but I don’t know about their limited offerings so far. I am looking forward to them expanding their sweet offerings, because I personally cannot see this business being sustainable by just selling overpriced strawberries. One dollar is affordable and people will stop by to buy a strawberry for the novelty of it, but I do not see this as being a routine purchase for those who have already tried it. Please, get more desserts out there soon! *cash only *open sporadically

mmm really good chocolate strawberries — the milk chocoate is amazing, but dark chocolate strawberries are the best. At a dollar apiece, it’s not a bad deal at all!

The Little Dipper Chocolate Company is a new food stand on Bancroft and Telegraph that also joins Desi Dog and the other Mexican stand whose name escapes me at the moment. The Little Dipper Chocolate Company(greatest name ever!) is under the parent company called Fresh Fix. But they specifically sell desserts. When I stopped by around 9 p.m., they had a tray of really enticing chocolate dipped strawberries, caramel apple pops and caramel popcorn that even comes straight from a popcorn stand. I talked to the duo that runs the stand, and they said they are looking to get more desserts out here relatively soon, including cupcakes and a berry dessert that similar to the strawberries, will be drenched in chocolate. I think he said there was going to be a «chocolate cage.» ??? Damn. Anyway, I just got one plain dark chocolate dipped strawberry for $ 1. It was very good. The strawberry was very juicy and ripe, definitely no sour parts. And the dark chocolate casing was perfect. Keep your eyes pealed for more desserts! Never heard of a food stand that specializes in desserts, but hey it could work. Next time, I’m going for the caramel popcorn. * CASHONLY!
