Been here many times and love it more each time. This is my favorite Chinese food in The Desert. Chef Zheng is world renowned having opened restaurants in Korea, China & America. They’re the only restaurant in town that serves Chow sui bao, which I crave. Their Singapore noodles rival Yett Lee in San Francisco and the remaining dishes that I enjoy like sweet & sour chicken, Kung Pao & Mongolian Beef are exquisite. Chef Zheng has learned over 200 ways to prepare tofu dishes and is well trained in all vegetarian options for those of you that don’t enjoy food that had parents. Prices are reasonable and service is very friendly. Thank you.

Super cute restaurant. The décor was very cute and a bit unexpected(the interior was a bit surprising). Service was good, she was very attentive. The food was very good and the soups came out very hot(the table behind complained theirs wasn’t hot enough). Ordered quite a bit of food but it was all very delicious. They don’t have it on the menu, but you can get kimchi. Their lunch special definitely seems like a great deal!

Tried this place for lunch today. It was our first time. We were very happy with our order of salt and pepper calamari and spicy noodle soup. Both were excellent and served in a way that was decorative and appetizing to the eye. The waitress was very attentive and nice. The Chef even came out and went from table to table to ask if the food was enjoyed. This is a wonderful addition to the desert. We will back many times. The menu is varied, with good prices.

I’ve only been here once. The fried rice was okay. But the walnut shrimp was really good. I will return to try more things and update this review at a later time with information about other items on the menu.

We were not sure about this place since it only had 68 reviews. FOOD — not good! I’m not sure who’s providing more than one star for Chef Noodle but the ramen was so greasy and tasteless that if I could give it a negative star it would be a negative 3 star(–3 star). Also, I tried the fried rice(vegetable) and I requested light oil and of course they added extra(I’m guessing) :). SERVICE — my order was wrong… they gave me noodles(Lo Mein) instead of the fried rice, you know the rest of that story… to be fair the other menu items I didn’t try could have been good and that’s at your risk. My recommendation for some good ramen is at Mitsuwa(Torrance or Costa Mesa). The ramen place is called Santouka(cash only).

I found this place by accident and ordered the duck noodle soup. I was curious to try the freshly made noodles, based on other reviews. The portion or bowl size was large but the taste fell short for me. I had to add salt and chili sauce to increase flavor. The amount of duck was ok. Overall the fresh noodles and someone who serves duck in the area is nice. If you read my other duck soup review you will know that I’ve had much better duck soup out if this area.

My new favorite Chinese joint in the Desert. They specialize in noodle dishes but also have rice dishes and various other Chinese specialties as well. The food is relatively cheap, but they give a large portion, so you know you are getting the best bang for your buck. I always order the Chow Fun, but I have been needing to try the soup noodle dishes they offer because thats what they are apparently know for. Finding the bathroom can be a bit odd because you have to walk down two dimly lit hallways, so it gets a bit eerie. The service is always great, very helpful and informative staff. I’ll defs be coming back soon!

Read some amazing reviews craving some noodle soup rolled off the freeway into what arguably the worst noodle soup I have ever eaten and I have had many. Store bought noodles probably frozen floating in more oil than the Exxon Valdez spill. Greasy and gross sorry do not understand previous reviews one time only for us

I stumbled upon this place by accident. Happy discovery. It was lunch and I needed to get back to work quickly. Luckily, I had quick service and the food was served quickly. The menu has quite a bit of variety. I ended up ordering a fish dish. It had a nice brown sauce, slightly sweet, with onions and peppers. Absolutely delicious. I also ordered some shumai, assuming that the the entrée was going to be on the small side. The entrée was huge, so the shumai was way too much. I wish there were a lunch menu, as what I ordered was a little more than I would typically spend for lunch. Will be back, though. Great service.

The 3 star rating has more to do with cleanliness, menu and value than quality of food or service. That being said, my experience was still rather enjoyable. As you can see by my photos, the menus(not sure why there are two) leave a lot to be desired and every table had that dried dirty water streaking on them. I had the«Lomein+noodle+with+chicken» and the«Chef fried dumpling». Both were what I expected in quality and portion, but in a place that Cleary cuts corners at every turn, I would expect everything to be about $ 1-$ 2 less. Overall, service, food quality and selection saved this place from a 2 star rating. Not much competition for this cuisine locally, so if you’re craving Asian noodle dishes, this is probably your only bet. Remember, if customers don’t politely give feedback on what they can improve on, it will likely never change.

War Wonton Soup is a bowl of pure magical bliss! First visit here and tried to order Phở which was not available on that day. Good thing however!!! The server suggested the War Wonton Soup. I never thought I would ever find anything to compare to the incredible Phở or Wonton soups we have in Portland. Eureka! Score! Hell Yeah! Coachella Valley you have just risen from the culinary gutter I resigned you to. This soup with it’s exquisite hand made wontons, delicate broth, filled with happy little shrimps, white chicken, and lean smoky bbq pork has given me hope. There are more delicious surprises in this beautiful bowl but I’ll leave those for you to discover.

I don’t think I can express my love for Chef Noodle enough. This little gem of a place is tucked in a little strip center right off the freeway, making it the perfect stop for anyone coming to visit La Quinta for the week. Let’s just concentrate on what is important here… the noodles. Everything is made in house, making the noodles soft, fresh, and delicious! Once you have a fresh noodle, it is hard not to dream about it at night. TIP: For the ultimate noodle/dumpling experience, start with the sui mai, then get a fabulous bowl of the wonton soup. WHOLLYCOWWWWWWWWWW!!! The bok choy, and broth lend a perfect component to the large homemade wontons that are packed full of fun… all layered on those damn fine noodles. ENJOY!

This was my worst experience ever. After ordering over the phone, I arrived to learn they lost the order. I was just going to leave, but the chef said he could make an order in 10 minutes. Usually Chinese food has lots of vegetables. Not true here. They apologized, but still charged full price. They said they would take good care of me next time. As if … Just say no to this place

I had to try Chef Noodle to experience what Unilocalers have been enjoying. I walked in and immediately loved the ambiance. The room(because it’s quite small) was quiet and calming. There are sparkling lighting fixtures hanging over the tables and main counter. I asked the gal working where they bought them(design idea for my place) and she said they are from China. Darn. When we were seated drink orders were taken and delivered promptly. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. I couldn’t decide what to order, but chose the Braised Beef Noodle Soup and a side of mixed vegetables. The beef was tender, however not to many pieces in the soup. The pieces that were in there were huge so it made up for it. The soup arrived piping hot as I could see the steam rising from the bowl. I added a little table side spicy sauce which added just enough kick to the dish. The noodles were thick and juicy. Throughout my meal I noticed a lot of people coming in for takeout. Seeing as the restaurant is on the smaller side this may be a better option for some. I will definitely return, dine in or carry out. The portions are large and prices fair. Can’t wait to try some other dishes.

Wanted to check out all the hipe and arrived during thw week for dinner. Located in a strip center where parking was no issue whatsoever finding. The menu is unique becuase they offer Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese choices of entrées and soup noodles. I chose rhe duck noodle soup requested addition of won ton for a added charge. The soup was piping hot, contained generous lean pieces of duck and the won ton were flavorful. The bowl was filling, satisfing and service was polite from my waitress. They accept credit cards so I’ll be back to try some other entrées on my next trip to thw low desert.

Sesame seeded peanuts just like candy! Duck soup meat was so rich and tasty with homemade noodles and Bok Choy. Wok fried rice with shrimp, pork, pineapples, curry & cilantro. Menu has a variety of Dim sum, noodle dishes, soups, traditional entrees, and shakes too. Take out business is thriving already. Nicely decorated interior. This place is going to be packed when the word gets out.
