We came here for a congratulatory lunch for my very small(3 of us) graduating class. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and most of the dishes were just amazing. I got steak which was a little greasy but everything else on my plate was a home run. It’s a little out of my price range which is the only reason I won’t be there every day of my life.

Wow… we drove 114 miles, round trip and it was worth it! Today we enjoyed crispy fried oysters, with Creole remoulade; a tasty golden beet salad(including cress — a favorite from my childhood); and pan-seared sea scallops, all of which were phenomenal. The chef means it when he says he uses only the freshest and best ingredients. And our waitress, Olivia, was pleasantly attentive, a lovely gal. The historic atmosphere is impressive, full of light and comfortable… glad we found this beautiful restaurant. We will be back soon. Thank you!

This restaurant is, by far, one of the best I’ve ever been to. I came here with a group and were unaware reservations are recommended, but we were seated right away regardless! We came specifically for brunch(they had alum have menu option available as well) and drinks and we weren’t disappointed. All of our food-eggs, fruits, pancake, sandwiches, home fries and vegetables were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Aside from the food, the drinks were very good. They were also fresh and strong(you get what you pay for!) and perfect with brunch. All the details put into the restaurant are appreciated as well. The utensils you use for your appetizer are taken away and fresh sets are brought for your meal. The water jug is an old, glass milk bottle. The napkins are perfectly pressed, the table is super clean upon arrival, the water is cold and very refreshing. Everything about this restaurant is worth a trip to eat there. I can’t say enough good things about it! I can’t wait to go back.

The restaurant and the service completely blew us away. Had the ribeye and the Parisian gnocchi. Just fabulous… fabulous. Cocktails were also generous and delicious.

We had the warm cornbread for and appetizer which was very good, moist and not dry like most cornbread. I had the cubano pizza which was excellent. Pizza crust was light with Dijon mustard, chopped pickles, slight amount of marinated red onions, ham and pork chunks, and cheese cooked perfectly. I am use to the the authentic Cuban sandwich out of Miami, and this was a nice change as a pizza. Just remember this is a farm fresh restaurant, and the prices reflect that. Service was very good and attentive. A must redo.

Lunch yesterday was amazing. It was the best meal I have had in a very long time: first, I had their Margarita with pomegranate juice… delicious. For my entrée I had the pear and roasted pistachio salad. The flavors were beautifully balanced. Absolutely scrumptious. For desert I had the bread pudding and caramel: perfection. Last but not least, our server… Carol. So sweet and very patient. 2 people in our party had dietary issues and Carol went to talk to the chef about their special requests. What a marvelous experience. I can’t wait to go back.

The Farm Table Management team reached out to extend unexpected apologies for the experience with my previous review. I have updated my review as it was admittedly a bit harsh, My wife and I are definitely fans of The Farm Table. I must say, Mike is one, if not the only Owner to ever follow up on a review personally. If there is anything to learn from this, its that Mike Kittredge is running this fine establishment as it should be, and setting restaurant service standards that hopefully will reverberate through the area.

A really wonderful experience in, let’s be honest, the middle of nowhere. I stumbled across The Farm Table on Unilocal a few weeks back after trying to find a good halfway point between Hartford and Hanover, NH. I was hoping for, at best, a divey diner, so you can imagine my delight to find a lovely farm-to-table tavern with what looked like a pretty spectacular Sunday brunch menu. Fast forward to yesterday — my sister and I(plus our dudes) met up and immediately loved the space. It’s bright and airy, yet boasts great rustic details(exposed beams, cozy fireplaces, etc) in an impressive 1800s structure. We started with a round of brunch cocktails — from a classic bloody Mary to my blood orange rosemary mimosa, all were fabulous. On the food front, I went for the special — a fluffy brioche french toast with vanilla cream and berries. Hard to go wrong! Plainly put, it was luscious. My dining companions’ chicken & waffles and Monte Crisco sandwich were similarly well received. Ambiance, A+. Food, A+. Service, A+(our waitress was delightful!). Price — as expected, not cheap but well worth it. This one’s a keeper.

Thank you Unilocalers! Needed a middle meeting spot for brunch to meet the family and found this fabulous place because of Unilocal! Charming!!! Beyond my expectations!!! A huge outdoor wrap around deck with fireplaces(can’t wait to go back on a nice fall chilly day and sit by the fire) There’s a chocolate store with yummy chocolate from around the world and a wonderful country store with everything from the softest socks and jewelry and make your own flavor olive oil and teas! Now the food… Delicious! And so fresh. Farm to table, yes please. I had a Brie, bacon and apple sandwich and couldn’t stop eating it. There were pumpkin pancakes on the table and soon gone and also an order of biscuits and gravy momma had a baby! All gone gone gone. Oh and I had my share of FRESHSQUEEZEDOJ in my mimosas!!! This place is a must go to and eat and get fat full then go and shop at the candle shop. Chocolate shop and country store. We will be going back! Thanks!!!

One of the best date night/dinners we have ever had. My fiancé and I called to book a reservation at 6:30 for the same night and were squeezed in for a 7:45 which was perfect. We got to the restaurant a few minutes early so started with a cocktail at the bar. The service was friendly and speedy– we were most thrilled with all the gluten-free beverage options! For dinner we ordered oyster on the half shell which were some of the best we have ever had and two gluten free pizzas. Both my fiancé and I couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it all was! Atmosphere is amazing — perfect for a cozy date night, food is incredible, cocktails are rockin and service is spot on. Can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I went to the farm table last night for dinner, there were things I really liked, and some not so much. For starters we had the roasted olives and the cheese and charcuterie board for one. Both were excellent. The olives were warm and seasoned well. I was afraid that the olives would get mushy after heating but they remained toothsome and meaty. The cheese/charcuterie board contained several hard cheeses, a goat cheese, brie, a mild blue, chorizo, serano ham, salami, and all the accoutrements. When our server was placing the board on the table, a piece of the salumi fell on the table. There was a moment of indecision then she picked it up and popped it onto the board. I had wished that didn’t happen but we can avoid that selection. For my main I had the scallops. I would not have made the plating choice of a bowl for the food, as it was served pretty wet with everyone in the pool. The scallops, leeks, cous cous, and fig were very nice, the greens were very over salted. For dessert we shared the warm apple tart with vanilla ice cream The ice cream as well as the crumble it sat on was great, the flavors were there with the apple tart but it was cold. Additionally the decaf coffee I had was cold, and did not taste good. My wife had the salmon and she liked it very much. I think there are some details that need to be worked on but the potential is there.

I don’t know how anyone could ever give this place less than 5 stars. It’s as close to perfection as a restaurant can get. First, the restaurant is beautiful. It’s rustic charm is so warm and inviting. Our waitress was outstanding from the get go. She was so friendly, but not over the top and fake. Her service was quick and pleasant, thus making the experience even more enjoyable. Then, there’s the food. THE. FOOD. Mouthwatering perfection. I had the lobster eggs benedict, and my friend had the croque madame. Both of them were cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and so tasty. The hollandaise was so tasty that I was tempted to lick my plate after taking the last bite of food. Dessert was that«need to close your eyes with each bite» heavenly. I’m counting down the minutes until I return.

The brunch for me was very hyped up initially and I have to admit, the food didn’t live up to the hype. It was good, but nothing stood out that would make me want to come again. The question can be raised, then, as to why I am giving this four stars. Aside from the brunch, the ambience and service are wonderful. It’s a great, rustic restaurant with fireplaces and throw rugs, and the server was very friendly and attentive. One thing to mention, though, is that the dessert was fantastic. We had a caramel pots de crème that was out of this world, and I’d come back just for that.

I’ve been remiss in posting a review of this place. I’ve gone a few times now, but I’ll use my latest experience as fodder for the post. Every time I’ve gone here, we’ve had amazing food, exceptional service and a wonderful time. We went the day after Christmas for dinner this past year and the Chef even came out to chat to us at our table… a little love goes a long way. This past Saturday, I went with my Mom, sister and a friend visiting the area for the first time. Of course, we stopped in a Kringle Candle first and then made our way over for a 5:30PM reservation(the 6:00PM time slot fills up FAST because that’s the time that Kringle Candle closes, so if you are making reservations, keep that in mind). On this visit, we started with the Crispy Fried Oysters(of which, there were eight) plated atop a cabbage slaw and drizzled with creole mustard remoulade. The perfect bite. Also ordered the summer caprese salad as well. Delicious. Huge helping of burrata cheese. The best, most unexpected part were the bits of fried shallots. Such a good idea. We then ordered three pizzas to share: Proscuitto Peach(fontina, prosciutto, local peaches, honey, goat cheese, endive and balsamic reduction), Rainbow Veggie(basil pesto, mozzarella, beets, red onion, cherry tomato, red and yellow peppers and broccolini), and the Margherita(straight up basic). Check out the pictures. Hands down, the best pizza was the Proscuitto Peach. Goat cheese and peach are meant to be married and have loads of babies. The most beautiful presentation goes to the Rainbow Veggie. Absolutely gorgeous. And beets on pizza? Who would have thought that combo could be so tasty?! The margherita was a basic b! tch and we all loved to pretend to hate her, but really, we can’t get enough of her and would order her every time. You know how that goes. Finished up with an array of the desserts(Peach Shortcake, Lemon Verbena Panna Cotta and Chocolate Almond Torte). All the desserts were amazing. The shortcake biscuit… I could eat one of those every day for the rest of my life. Light, fluffy, sweet and salty all at the same time. The only thing that I would mention… we made the reservation through their website(which turns out, they use Unilocal SeatMe) and in the notes, it was mentioned that the dinner was a special occasion — my birthday — yep. All about me. My Mom had requested a candle to mark the occasion. Additionally, when we were seated, the waitress asked if we were celebrating anything and my Mom specifically indicated we were celebrating the great day of my birth. But outside of a cursory acknowledgement, there was nothing special(outside of the great food, the great company and the amazing location) done to mark the occasion. Now, I’m perfectly fine with that because I abhor being sung to in public, especially by strangers, but since my Mom had made some specific requests, she was a little disappointed that they were overlooked. That’s my one suggestion: make sure that you aren’t overlooking requests made with Unilocal SeatMe!

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve seen. If you’re planning a romantic dinner, I don’t think the ambiance gets much better than this place! I can only imagine how cozy it must be in the fall and winter with the fireplace going. The food is also exceptional! It’s definitely an occasional place because it’s not cheap but certainly worth the price. We ordered the cornbread and cheese platter to start, scallops and beef tenderloin for dinner and the chocolate affogato cake for dessert. We also had a bottle of Cab to wash it down. The service was awesome, everyone is so friendly and sweet. This is an example of a place that really just does everything right.

While visiting Massachusetts for my brothers graduation my husband and I made reservations at The Farm Table for a date night. There’s one word that sums up this restaurant AMAZING! The food and service were impeccable. The scenery outside is beautiful and the décor inside is so nice and cozy, including the tall chairs we sat in fit for a king. We ordered a bottle of sauvignon blanc, the focaccia bread with garlic spread, thai chicken lettuce wraps and a pesto pasta that was one of their specials that night. We shared a ribeye steak and although the pesto pasta portion was a tease we were able to save room for a DELICIOUS Nutella Crème Brule that was to die for!!! If and when you are ever in MA, The Farm Table is a must!

Last evening we had the pleasure of dining at the Farm Table as a group of friends and colleagues from work. This isn’t the first time I have had a meal here, but it was a first for the other members. All I have to say is wow! The complete experience was amazing from making our reservation to paying the bill. Our waitress was incredible, the ambience was perfect, and the food was out of this world. We bought a multitude of appetizers(cheddar corn bread, focaccia bread, fried oysters, oysters on a half shell, and poutine de canard). All the items were great and I couldn’t get enough of the oysters on a half shell! When it came to our main course the group bought the fig pig, the mushroom and spinach pizza, scallops and the rib eye. Each items was delicious and it was not a challenge to finish the whole plate. Overall, we love this restaurant and I am happy that we celebrated our work event here. It was great to dine here again and I can’t wait to eat here again!
