Ice cream is delicious — Giffords of Maine. Blueberry Pancake is delicious! Dinner can be slow, especially at peak hours.

Great food, simple fare at good prices. Right south of Kringle Candle, this is small town American food at its finest. Nothing fancy but just what you’d expect at the hang out for high school kids in town.

After having dinner in Bernardston we decided that we wanted some desert so we popped into Townline Ice Cream. This seasonal shop is a little roadside stand located near Kringle Candle that has ice cream as well as traditional American food favorites.
The last time we came here we grabbed a few of their burgers and thought that they were really great! This stand also has soft serve and hard serve ice cream. The only critique is that last year they had no sugar added ice cream but that does not seem to be the case this year.
The staff here is typically great but sometimes at the end of a long day they are a little worn down. That being said the ice cream is great, the food is decent, and it’s nice to sit out on their benches while enjoying a summer evening. If you have never been to Townline then you need to try it out!
